Had me a o.d. last week. Needed 4 permits. 3 were fast but Kentucky took 4 hours to get me theirs. I was not happy about that. Good vid bro. Stay strong, stay blessed!
Thats awesome bro!!! Yeah man I’ve been in a situation before where I waited hours for a permit. That’s usually rare but they can be worth it! Appreciate the support brotha!
@MaccMediaTV My dad was a marine for 22 years. While he was in he would work on CB radios on the side. I still have some of the old parts he would use and some of the books. He would add hidden channels (for hunters) and more power to talk longer distance. The wilson 1000 antenna did a very good job. Roof mount right in the center. Your antenna will lose a lot of range being where it is. You both are doing great keep it up!
That's cool! Your dad sounds like he had some impressive skills. Those hidden channels and extended range must have been a real advantage. Thanks for the tips on the Wilson 1000 antenna, too. We appreciate the support!
Always on beast mode … Always on big boy status 🦈💪🏻 man you guys are great team together..SIEMPRE ON FIRE 🔥 your work ethic is on another level been fallowing you ever sensed you started and I’m so proud of your growth Mr.MACC blessings brother
Job well done and by the way I see you have an CB you the first to see with one. I couldn’t never understand why other never have!!! But I used mine when I was OTR, okay driver stay safe✌🏽
That's the worst part of hauling I have over 20 years of experience of dumb ass drivers out there that don't grasp the concept of slow down pull over and most importantly be patient!!! I'm in a redi mix truck now but I've been in dump trucks hauling excavators behind me and the way people drive around you in a big heavy-duty rig treat you like your not important because we slow there day down by a few mins not knowing the danger they put all of us in its pretty ridiculous to see this day in and day out! Stay safe and I hope to see you on the road here soon and watching you do your thing while I'm learning thank you for your videos you make a point to cover so many things that need to be talked about!!!! Stay safe out there I'll see yall soon!!
I was just here last week in Lithia Fl, took a piece of duct work from there to Wyoming. BIG money in these drops. I dropped mine in a fertilizer plant. And yes it was hot and the love bugs were insane... they also got the dimensions wrong so I could only take one piece.
That’s pretty dope bro!! Yeah man I see that happening often when the dimensions are off. But man Wyoming is a nice run, thats whats up! Appreciate the support bro! Keep killing it out there and stay safe!
We're you guys able to fit on a scale with that load? Also, just a fyi DOT will give you a violation for not having extended mirrors on an oversized load.
@Macc Media TV Well, I got them installed, put them on the trailer too, looks great, works perfect. Only issue is, bought a brand new trailer, took it out on its first load, got 600 miles into the trip, and both rear duals flew off of it, thank god, no traffic on freeway at that time, that could of been really bad!! I did the check lug nuts at 50, 100, and 200, miles, even have it wrote in my logs safety check, check lug nuts, didn't check for over torque though. But we try to run a clean hot shot business, everythimg in working order, and folllow all rules and regulations, keep in complete compliance, why we have a 16% score with multiple level 1's. It did some pretty good damage to trailer as it drug, trying to get off to shoulder safely.. so here we sit, waiting on trailer to be fixed, and see if warranty covers it..
I remember watching you when you were leased on with the 2500 Ram now to see you with your CDL and own authority and that bad ass 5500 Ram set up super cool 😎 Wide load experience had to be fun and I know it was a bummer not getting the footage you wanted still cool 😎
Appreciate the love and support brotha!! This load was definitely an experience and definitely with I got more footage but had to be extra focused on this one
We did an oversized load for Shell. We picked it up from the refinery after one of the steam shafts exploded and bent the manifold on top. It was cool knowing we traveled 600 miles to take it to get fixed loll.
Hello thank you for sharing your experience!! My son and I are in the process of getting started with hot shot and was wondering if you are adding to your company would love to be apart of your group ? We are located in Savannah Ga
Hi Tracy, yes we are accepting owner operators to lease on. Please check out the lease on inquiry I have in the description so we can get in contact with you.
Hey bro any advice on doing OD loads? I've been doing Hotshotting for about 1½ yrs but am hesitant to do OD loads. I know they pay very but just don't have the courage to do it. Any tips?
I only put flags on the truck if the load is going to exceed the flags or be lined up with the flags. I’ve heard the flags being further out than the load and DOT wanted permits for that width of the flag. But definitely check with the state on what’s required.
Dang man I spent years loading oversized loads (wind turbines, IE: nacelles and blades) yeah 8AM was a break, 15 minutes 🤔😂😂 yeah we’d get those trucks loaded about 4-5PM after we squeezed in some overtime for sitting around🤫😅😂 Its a whole different story now that I’m on the other side but come on shippers you’ve got to pay a livable wage, especially for the operators that actually do have talent and can get the job done safely….
Thank you Sir! I've driving cdl for 30 years! I like your set up! I work for the city in Oh. I have 5yrs to go. I've done otr trucking and Grey hound. I just need some guidance. You keep it real. I think I can trust you. Capital is the main ingredient, I'm good on that. I need more of your input. I need to reach out too on real level!! I need more on what it took you to get!! I'm hungry Sir! I want too help others as well!!!✌🏿💪🏿
Unfortunately I have a wife who doesn’t support me in my business it’s just gimme gimme she’s mad that I had invest in my business getting started. She was like you don’t know how to run a business and I was like yes I do it’s my third business to run
Man that’s a tough one bro, sorry to hear but just keep pushing and she’ll eventually come through. But definitely don’t let the hustle or money get in between you and your wife especially if she’s been by your side through the ups and the downs.

Macc, when do you need the flags on the truck? If it’s 9 wide, do you need flags on the truck
