I know the piano still sounds terrible. That's because there's less dynamic control in MS4 😢 still looking for the most appropriate workaround though.. Anyway, if everything goes well, the full piece should be out within August. Please look forward to it 😁
The most obvious influence is probably the slow movement from his Paganini variations, but I wonder if it was also inspired by the 2nd movement of his 3rd concerto
I don't think people will even get mad that they have gotten rickrolled, just marvel at this beautiful composition. Can't wait to hear the full release!
People see Rachmaninov and I also see little glimpses and sparks from Tchaikovsky. Well done! The whole variations are very well crafted. Keep the good job.
I may actually learn to play the piano part some day…a beautiful way to get people laughing together. :3 Keep up the good work mate, love the content. 👌
Phenomenal! How is this not viral? And did you start with this piece and become inspired to build the rest of the 18-minute concerto from here? Also, I hereby declare all future rickrolls must be directed to this youtube video!
How did you render this video? I have a score but the video musescore made me only shows like the top 6 voices. Btw this is fucking incredible, I am amazed at you capabilities
@@kaibalonek2916 Ha, good spot! I’ll be honest: I immediately ignored that because it was so clearly inspired by Rach’s 18th variation on a theme by Paganini. The left hand alone seals it, but it’s also in the same key (D-flat major) and time signature (3/4).

@@yohanvuignier1270i did put some manual adjustments to the tempo to make it sound not too mechanical
Nothing about this sounds terrible 🤩

You really have ascended past the whole “song but…” trend at this point.
Fantastic work so far and I can’t wait to see the whole thing!
Rickroll but it’s the finale of the 2nd mov from a romantic piano concerto
That's exactly where it's located in his completed 18-minute piece!

Actually it's the opposite. This was a "teaser" 😂
So this is where it began…
This piece actually brought tears to my eyes🥹🥹🥹 BRAVO🙌🏻🙌🏻
Why does this sound like a happy epilogue to a square enix game?
Yay! This is the best rickrolling I've ever had! (just because I'm an orchestra lover)
Beautiful

Thank you. Actually i exported the score to SVG and audio WAV files. And then combined them in video editing software.
Awesome.
Beautiful 😍
Never Gonna Give You Up but played during the classical era
Romantic era*
Wow this is fantastic
Never gonna give you up but Rick Astley was a Russian composer in the Romantic period
Thats perfection 😂
Variation 18
XVIIIth variation on a theme by Rick Astley
At the beginning of the video, you see it's actually the IXth
