Allow me to get philosophical on why this piece perfectly represents ADHD. I particularly love the way it plays the same two notes for a bit before the first deviation which easily represents the last brain cell trying to hold onto A Thought, and then goes back into Can Can but faster after that deviation and then directly afterwards it *SLAMS* the keys in a perfect recreation of ADHD brain temporarily regaining focus and the inevitable frustration of realizing you’ve just messed up The Task which leads into an unholy spiral with occasional returns to Can Can as the last brain cell continues to try and redirect the ADHD train to executive dysfunction hell.
There are a couple here that, in a lesser meme, might have killed the music, but the fact that the music just goes straight back to the Can Can afterwards makes it just work.
This is how the soundtrack goes when you've already maxed out the level of your characters and you just beat the boss and its many forms over and over again. All while you skip the cutscenes in between.
