+platinum7990 Thanks for reaching out! If you take a photo of the bulbs and email us at contact@diodedynamics.com, we can help you find the right bulb for this location!
I just tried using needle nose pliers to take the bulb out in my 2016 and there's no where to grab but the actual bulb. How the hell do you do it? Also, how did you pop the lens off that easily? Took me like 5 mins of careful wiggling
The dome light is best to remove on 2017 grand Cherokee limited edition, I was not able to pop off the entire lens to remove light, pull on the entire assembly starting from the rear and work around you will hear a snap once it comes loose. Is there a replacement bulb/light that replaces the additional light in the dome points only to steering wheel when depressed.
Will you guys do a video tutorial on how to install these lights + front driver/passenger footwell lights on a 2017 jeep grand cherokee summit? My interior looks nothing like the 2015.
+HYCE42 Next time we have a 2017 Grand Cherokee into our garage, we will be sure to shoot more videos! In the meantime, if you'd like any assistance, feel free to email us at contact@diodedynamics.com!

I have a 2018 altitude and I wasn’t able to pull off the map light lens all the way, it would only release part of it. I tried to grab up in there with needle nose pliers but couldn’t pull it out with the angle and grip on only the bulb. Any tips on how I can yank it out?

So I have the exact same Jeep as this to a T, and I cannot get the map light covers off. I get the first part to pop off but the part toward the front of the Jeep will not release it feels like it will break. I took off the whole assembly and got to the map lights but how do I get to the dome lights? Changed every other one successfully foot lights trunk lights all but those dome in that housing I can't get to. Any suggestions on getting that cover off without breaking?

@@nyc863 They do get out after slowly working it from side to side. The video definitely doesn’t show the real thing, maybe they already broke it. Anyway, don’t pop it off, just pull the whole assembly from near the windshield and the bulbs are both easily replaced.

@@diodedynamics I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit 2015 I can't seem to find any LED builds fo the sun visors/ vanity lights & the footwells! I've contacted my delearship here in N. Ireland in parts and they don't do them. Can you help me source them or give me a Web address so I can order them in?
Hey diode dynamics people, Maybe you should watch others videos to learn a thing or two, Doing it your way you take a chance at breaking the lense on the front dome light, Take the whole panel down, it just pops off, then you have super easy access to the lights, Thanks to you stupid way, I almost broke the lens on the dome light. If you take the whole thing out, the bulb socket just turns in, but your way for the back lights was real good.
Hey Edwin - with all of our installation videos, we do go through a number of different installation methods (prior to producing this video), and determine what we think is the best and most effective way. There will be more than one way to install these bulbs in many cases, so at the end of the day it is up to you which method you would like to do. We will certainly pass your concerns along to our marketing team however!
