I’ve always made my Christmas cake beginning of October and then fed it with brandy over the weeks. Never even thought of doing it all in one go but it looks very nice.

Hi Elayne how much milk would you soak your currants sultanas in for this Christmas cake and what temperature and for how long would you cook the cake if you have a fan oven thoroughly enjoy watching your cooking vlogs
Hi Lorraine I soaked mine in rum. I used approximately 50mls and left it for a couple of hours. I baked it on 150c for 3 and 3/4 hours. I would say 3- 3 1/2 hours for fan assisted as my oven is fan assisted and i should have taken it out sooner but went out to the shops and didn't get back in time 🙈. Thanks for watching hunni 💕xx
