Hi Elayne , another great video love seeing all the Christmas things !!!, my tree is up a 10 footer 1600 lights, the house is dressed, we live in a Victorian house so it lends it's self very well to Christmas , we have just outside to do we have warm white lights outside, but i agree Elayne about slowing down i'm 63 and i don't consider myself old, but you do slow down don't you, oh well as long as we don't stop🤣🤣xx

I always use to put my tree up the 1st weekend in December but now they go up on the 1st weekend after Bonfire night because it takes so long doing it I make the most of them up for longer (Lynn)

It seemed strange with the shelves behind you with only I item on them but they won't be like that for long i am sure as you are so good with your decorations . I remember the big quality street tins being reused for everything from a cake tin to holding nuts and bolts ! I miss the big metal tins.😊

In the UK, Christmas decorations normally come down on the Twelfth Night after Christmas Day, according to tradition, to avoid bad luck in the home.

According to tradition, Christmas trees and decorations should go up on the first day of Advent, which is the fourth Sunday before Christmas.,this year its Sunday 1st December. A key date in the Christian calendar, Epiphany falls on the 6 January each year and so this year it is Saturday. In the UK, Christmas decorations normally come down on the Twelfth Night after Christmas Day, to avoid bad luck in the home.I am old fashioned and follow traditions for Christmas.
