Hiking the Portuguese Camino - Day 6 of 6 - Cruces to Santiago de Compostela | S02E17
Our last hiking day of the Camino! In this episode we get rid of the rock in my shoe, reach the hustle and bustle of Santiago, pay our respects to Saint James, and ride a bus back to our motorcycles in Tui.

The cathedral is amazing. The forest stunning. The crowds - different from the peace you were surrounded by before.
The crowds were a bit overwhelming - different pace for sure. The cathedral was being worked on so we didn’t get to experience the main chapel. I’m sure it was even more amazing!
@@viajarMOTO the part you could visit was already pretty nice. I don't think that could be topped ;) you did really great with the hike !
Thank you both. That was a wonderful series of videos. Those twin markers at about 3.5km remaining. The newer one will lead you across a bridge to the southern part of the new city (above the university area, where there are supermarkets, residential area and then past Almeda Park). The older marker (pointing to the right) will lead you along a nicer first part and then swing around to the cafes, then the hotel and retail shop part of the new city). There are almost the same distance.
Thanks for so much for watching and the comments. Great advise for people wanting to hike from Portugal to Santiago. Your comments have also made us watch these videos and remember the experiences of summer 2020. What an interesting and odd year for travel.
Very nice. I've been on Santiago Compostela but never done it on foot. Maybe some day... Cheers
Thanks! You should hike the Camino - I’m sure it will be very memorable. Cheers!
💪🏻💪🏻so cool amigos!!
Bien hecho 👍🏻 💜😘🙌🏻
¡Gracias!
You had anger issues? I would have never guessed it. Glad your journey has helped resolve them ❤️
I do pretty well except for those around me all the time. I’m glad I could focus on it during the Camino as well.
