Got 70 Chevelle myself always wanted one of u guys to take one to the MAX!!!
Im sure you Monza know that the 70 454ss Chevelle SS is been labeled as the fastest of the muscle car wars in the 70s it made better horse power and ran better numbers on the track. It was always a bucket list car for me and to see you turning one into a racecar, and how great you made the split bumper look, I'm sure this Chevelle is going to be a beautiful beast.

Aloha Monza, that gaget in the green and white package is called a (Diode) it will allow voltage to only go in one direction and will not allow feedback to the source, commonly used in electronics. MSD includes it in the first gen MSD 6AL kits for early model Chevys to tie into the alternator trigger wire, without the (Diode) you can start the car but when you go to turn off the key it will still be running because it had voltage going back to the ignition that is triggering the MSD box. I hope that helps you to understand what a diode can be used for. Aloha from Hawaii!

Hopefully you will be back up in the top of the racing on the street and track. I would love to see you test the new car on the street but I'm sure that is not going to happen, at least not for a few years. And the closeness that you have with Brandon is something I have always wanted with my father but we never had the money to get a old car to build on and just talk shit in the shop. But it's something that Brandon will never forget and something he should realize that a lot men are never going to be able to experience what he does with his father and him being basically best friends

Aloha Monza, the problem could be caused by a bad grounds or lack of, through time it can cause poor voltage to get to the source, remove you grounds clean the surface free of paint or rust and used (Dielectric Grease) on the wire, bolt ,surface and re attach the ground this will ensure good chassis ground. Voltage finds the shortest path of least resistance. Back in the day I had a similar problem with my backhalfed 67 Street Camaro SS. Aloha from Hawaii!

Mondza you guy going to be on interstate 80 or 74 in Illinois on your travels.. I've got a ruger over under red label shotgun I'll make you a deal on.. that new chassis is going to be stout and it's easy to see why you are going to have them fix the few things on the split bumper

Hey Monza, Have you considered clear coating the frame instead of power coat? It looks killer on the Murder Nova, and makes cracks easier to find.

Honestly. My favorite car all time. Split bumper Camaro/Z28. My dad had 69 Chevelle. My fav color is black. Dad's was also. I can't wait to c Chevelle. If I had pocket full of money. Be saving. I would definetly want u to set me up with badass street legal Chevy. You have some good years ahead of you in racing. Think Brandon did nice job with Chevy Pickup. Like to c him race. Can you show all the cars/trucks you 2 have had? Not just race cars. Like channel and content. 👍

Would like to learn more on chassis construction. Always want to know more on building race cars. Helped on dirt track cars and loved it. But as you all know that takes money.
