@jonatanbergmusician I am with you, bro. It has tasty sounds on clean such as reverb and pitches. But somewhat noisy compared to late 80 and 90s racks. One of my hopes is that spx 90 would even cooler if it has a dual algorithm like... rev and pitch c.
@ Yeah it does come with a bit of noise. I’m so used to listening to ”older” music that I kind of like it, on a certain level of course. Somehow it’s about what context it’s in, such as style of music, the role of the instrument and so on. Can be more or less forgiving. A dual algoritm in this unit would have been awesome, for live use in particular. Sounds like you know this one pretty well!? What are your favorite sounds in it? Cheers
@@Mold81cool man. Yes it has some character indeed. I guess most of us use it for the chorus/detune like fx. I also like some reverbs in it. I tend to use the pitch or detune most, and that is straight on the recorded tracks. Happens that I add on fx afterwards, but generally it’s in the recorded guitar chain. Now I wanna get home and turn it on😅 Inspiring unit

These old rack gears are not pristine, but they really work well with distortion sound. Great demo
@@Mold81 Thanks! I totally get what you mean. Although I like the Spx90 on really clean sounds as well. Cheers! /Jonatan

@jonatanbergmusician definitely pitch c, symphony, and hall reverb. It has great character and occupies a unique place, sitting next to Lex bros
