There is a big difference between Flashing and Resetting. If you went into recovery mode by holding the up+Power and some times home button and Wipe data Factory reset that's resetting. Flashing involves downloading your devices exact Firmware or ROM and reloading the Tablets operating System with a tool such as ODIN. If you actually did flash it you may need a new ROM from a different source. If that still fails might be hardware related issues.
Seems in most simple cases the Operating System on the Tablet gets corrupted i.e becomes unable to boot and only a basic reset as shown here can fix it or a total reinstall or flash of the Android OS on the Tablet as in some other cases where a reset fails.
+Tajrae Miller keep it plugged in even though it seems dead. Also try another adapter. If all else fails remove the back diconnet the battery and leave it off for a few minutes then reconnect it.
