the roles are actually inspired by the old mecha waifu game "Cosmic Break" so, melee mechs have the advantages against the ultra-heavy artillery/attacker, artillery/attacker have advantages against light-medium mechs/flyers, flyers have advantages against melee, kind of like that.
melee doesn't really have advantage against ultraheavies(the deployables, the act of deploying can counter melee and being deployed ignores melee stagger), melee is more for chasing down squishies(panther) including fliers and countering other melee(welkin). medium flier skyraider is the one that's for countering ultraheavies with the lockon-disrupting missile, DOT missile, shield piercing charged main gun...etc. Or light sniper narukami with its shieldpiercing full charge rifle.
@@EcchiRevenge it depends on the pilot skills in the end. As welkin I can easily farm ultra heavies (except tricera) easily with permanent stun lock and the cage
@@10thArchon Yup. You can also check their profile ID and if it starts in the 100s, it's a bot. If it starts in the 140s, it's a player. You'll mostly see bots a LOT until high Gold or early Platinum. There's a reason why EVERYONE has a win rate over 50%, it's impossible for the entire population to be over 50%. You'll see a lot of people with crazy win rates like 80-100% with 10+ win streaks until they reach high gold/low plat and you start seeing their score balance out around 60-70% win rate. Literally happened to every single person I know who played, myself included. Got humbled hard once I hit plat.
as someone who is really adverse to playing PvP games, I gotta say... Mecha Break might be the one PvP game for me. edit: I'm saying this having played the beta and logging ungodly hours into the game. It's a "might" right now as I tend to really make that decision when it launches, but what we got was very enjoyable!
Sooo veeery limited customization... with that said since its kinda like a gacha game, whats stopping them to collab with armored core, gundam, macross and a whole lot more of "real robot" mechs?
It’s a fun game but the PVP is cancer. Don’t get me wrong combat design is fantastic but matchmaking is terrible and balancing is terrible and prolly would worsen overtime since its F2P, they gotta somehow get the dough. Most mech enjoyers just wanna chill and enjoy building or playing mechs. No one wants to lose their sanity over pointless competitive PVP.
So looks like PvE will officially be added in the form of PvEvP according to a dev Q&A video + other interesting additions. 🍑🍑
Oh a fellow 00 fan. Instant subscribe bruh.
Legend!
@@Mr.PossumsDude that’s Gundam Seed Destiny lol
As a welkin pilot, I love catching falcons in my cage.
Let my people go!

I didn't know that thanks for sharing! 🍑
panter/welkin still destroy air unit since they have melee boost xD
@@AZZAMNO1 I always farm panter and welkin with my falcon

I love how you fluidly utilize falcon! Awesome! It gave me some idea to use him, thanks!
No problem! Just don't be that guy flying a crop duster 😄
btw first two games are against bots.
Do they generate real player names at random? I was convinced they were real.

Tell me honestly, it's the pilot or the machine persuade you to keep playing?😊
Now now what made you say that 🤣🍑

It really might based on one of the clips on their Steam page. 🙏
@@Mr.Possums if it does I really hope they do raid-esque content. I REALLLLLLY liked the giant mech at the end of the tutorial segment!

Limited indeed but let's give them the benefit of the doubt they can have something in store before and on release.
i wouldn't say it's like a gacha game at all lol

I agree. This is also probably why AC6 PvP wasn't as good.
Well I hope MB's 3-man squad PvE mode is something.
Love PvP but a PvE mode would be fantastic for this game with all the varied mechs.
Too bad it's only pvp it's gonna be toxic like every pvp game
Totally see where you're coming from. Not everyone in the Mecha community big on PvP. I hope the team PvE mode is good.

Wallmart armored core with awful multiplayer balance
Haters gonna hate… 😂
i played it, it has good visuals, but gameplay is weak.
I guess you can play "balanced" multiplayer with bad netcode with the other
