HERE'S MY MOUSE COLLECTION 200+ SOME YOU WONT HAVE SEEN - th-cam.com/video/ZVHDqI0rBVw/w-d-xo.html
Absolutely superb! 👊🏻
It's nice Shahz got a new mouse. Hope he gets back into tier one!
Hopefully this will help him get there... he will need to adjust for the weight change.
I'm now realising that a G703 Superlight would be the dream. I love this thing. Every time I try something else, I come back to this for general comfort and the rare presence of a DPI button--crikey.
Its shape actually keeps my wrist off the desk when I want that and it basically moulds to my hand. I can sort of claw it if I really want to, then fingertip it a bit if I'm feeling insane. The DPI button's nice if I'm going into a game quickly or even if I want to lazyboy flick around the desktop, or if I've crammed my desk full with a music keyboard and other stuff. The side buttons are as good as the DAv3's by virtue of their size alone. The rubber sides are wonderful. The mouse is only really held back by its weight. Imagine this thing in white too.
Any quick question for you. Can I use the pcb that holds the wheel encoder and switches from the Logitech g pro superlight on the g pro superlight 2
The G703/403 is the best ergo shape I've ever felts hands down. I had the G403 Prodigy before the G703 was released years ago and I loved it. Until the scroll wheel took a dump. Been on a collecting spree recently picking up the GPX SuperLight G305 Viper V2 Pro Deathadder V3 Pro and now back on a G703. When the shape feels this good I don't really care about it's weight. If it was any heavier I definitely wouldn't be using it but come on Logitech. Please make a G703 Superlight. I would buy 2 of them. Just to have one as a back up. lol
the shape of this byfar the most comfortable to hold
yeah its certainly a winner for ergo... i'm not sure why logitech haven't updated it with a new hero sensor and internal design.
@@Beardedbob if they do i might try it
A honeycomb shell and a custom bottom could make this mouse weigh around 65g
Or less
Love the insights into the mice mods with these videos. Whats your favorite mouse over the years?
tricky to say, I like the G Pro wireless as how well it could be modded is insane and the superlight. for a pure out of the box mouse I like the lamzu atlantis or pulsar x2.... but to name a mouse of all time I still miss my razer copperhead
@@Beardedbob The copper head was a classic
Would like to see that modded with new guts
Still waiting for a G305 Superlight like too. Budget segment is a bit of a miss opportunity these days. Don't care if it's still battery powered. Some weight reduction would be great. The Viper V3 Hyperspeed is a great example of great mouse for the price.
Just get the regular g pro SUPERLIGHT
The viper v3 super light weighs more than the g305 and cost almost 3x more
Damn this mouse would be 10/10 if it had better internals and a bit lighter weight. I am trying to figure out how to 3D print the whole shape and put some top of the line internals in it. Would you have any idea if this is possible to do?
Agreed.. Logitech are missing a trick..check out thingiverse there are some files or stay tuned as I’ll be doing some streams / video so modding 3d mice mods
Entirely possible, but you would need to get creative for sure. You can probably find a model to 3D print. If you don't have a printer you can send it to a number of companies to make it for you at a cost. Getting different internals inside is the harder part. Making things line up will probably require changing the encoder / side buttons by soldering. It would be much easier to find a lighter weight shell and transplant the original internals. Best of luck with your mod though! I think it will make a fun project.
i have watched so many of your videos, i cant tell which mouse switches are the best for Valorant, i was really hoping to know with thus video but the stock switches are still used in this mod, please can you answer which switches are the best for fps games like Valorant?? where you one tap a lot, i have the g pro x but it double clicks I've died so many times because of it in Valorant, please answer me ❤
TTC dustproof Gold 80M. Lightweight and amazing.
Good work!
Thank you! Cheers!
damn 35 years
bro i need that the g703 is the nicest feeling mouse ever
Shop.Beardedbob.com
Want to see you get this down to 63grams i stopped at 66 with glass feet. I think it can be done
This shape at 60 or less grams would be amazing
This mouse has a really nice shape to me but I could never use it, it's so strange - whenever I'm holding it the sensor is slanted so when I swipe left and right it's never left right on screen but diagonal and I end up looking at the floor or sky.
There is software to fix that actually! Where you can change the sensor rotation there is a video on it in depth by struth gaming!
You get used to it. It is Strange, when you come from another Mouse, but give it a few days and you won't notice it anymore
@@linos1085 I used it for over 500 hours and it never materialized, it lives in a shoebox now
Look into the Glorious Model D mini, or the Pulsar Xlite V2. The Xlite V3 is "coming soon" with a solid shell model, but they have been saying that a long time. The Model D mini had a much closer feel to me, just smaller. The Xlite is a similar ergo shape, but doesn't feel exactly the same. Both of those don't have the forced angle grip you get with the G703 though. I did get used to the G703 in time, for what it's worth. It was my main for a very long time. Honestly switching to something else it took a while to not aim at an angle because I got used to compensating lol.
This is my main issue with the mouse, the hump profile is easily better than the EC2, but the slant makes the mouse near unusable.
what tool do you use to remove the mouse skates. recently when i was modding my viper mini i completely mangled the mouse skates trying to remove them. i had to order a new pair of skates but ill have to use a mouse with no skates for a couple days lol
Preparations friend… rookie misstake, if being careful u could recycle the skates but its not ideal. Using a blowdryer has worked best for me. I know bob uses lighter fluid sometimes
yeah man next time ill make sure to be more prepared
@@brendandh3023
I would be happy if logetech just made a 80 gram one lol
what is the best / high quality control mouse skate?
The tiger ice v2 have more "control" than the Corepad and Tiger ice v1
@@Camacho557 its more control than gpw stock ? or you have another recommendation?
@@aaronthen5243 You can try BTL skates or Tiger Arc (the tiger arc's comes with 2 feet sets). Anything but the stock ones is an improvement.
@@aaronthen5243 I suggest you the tiger ice v2 dots.
stock arent control theyre just horrible @@aaronthen5243
Logitech please for the love of god make this happen for real.
make them listen :-p i'm trying to
can we please get mice that are unscrewable without ruining mouse feet..
They don’t do it as people will rma m/moan when people squeeze the bottom off when applying 3000lb of pressure to the sides while testing for flex
A real 703 superlight, keep yelling it for years now... why cant logitech see the community screams for this mouse? Instead they released an overpriced g pro x 2 which no one wanted in the first place..

“The community” = about 200 people
@@eXSPLY what is your point? Tell me , who is gonna pay 200 dollars for a mouse anyway? It's a small niche market after all.
@@Poppaai point is Logitech know it’s not worth the R&D costs with such a low customer base
The fact that this guy only likes his mouse after a certain time of using it because the feet "wears out" is ridiculous. He likes the feel of the feet being broken in then once that phase is gone, he just throws it away. What a joke.
Pro they need to keep very constant and the glide changes. I've sent him some more stakes which he can replace and therefore not the hole mouse but it will mess with his aim for a bit so will the mods so he will maybe have time to get used to it
Consistency is very important for the pros. Not something a normal person really needs to worry about at all. The stakes for the pros are much higher and probably does matter a lot when they rely completely on less than 1mm tolerances for muscle memory. Honestly I bet a lot of them change to new mice after every competition, or have at least 8 copies of whatever is their model of choice. Mice are tools for them, and a small cost compared to tournament winnings. I doubt they throw away the old. Most likely they give them away.
He keeps them stored away I think.
Here’s a vid of the many G703s he has.

Nobody will ever feel a loss of 20g lol
🤔 but they do.
A pro or decent fps player can tell when their skates are worn or pad never mind a weight change.
Also don’t look at it as a g value more %.. if you have a mouse that’s 60g and you remove 20g that’s a big % which you can’t not feel
you definitely do not play pc games lol. 20g is VERY noticeable.
@@mrbp3351 if you a new age sissy boy which most of the young crowd is.. never leave home no muscles at all so ya I guess you would notice 20g if all you are doing is streaming and playing games never go outside or do a real day of work you will notice i guess..
@@DAVE_WHITE Dude whether you lift or not, you're still going to feel the difference between a lighter mouse and a heavier mouse. I carry heavy gear and work out and I use a G703, but I go to and from an Aria XD7, a CM 712 and right now a DAv3 and those three are ridiculously light in comparison. I also tried the Shroud mouse and that was notably lighter too.
Definitely want a lighter G703 shape.
Game is full of cs rejects lol
