Thank you. Very helpful to know the Shure app allows you to toggle environment mode (ANC) from the phone because I’ll be using these as motorcycle noise reduction headphones.
Thanks for this review. I have the SE315 and have been looking to upgrade to either Aonic 4 or 5. The first gen wireless adapter had shortcomings like calls only coming in through the right, but glad to see that it has improved. As you've had this for 1 year, any updates or issues?
Hi, I don't have another pair to try to be honest. But it might work according to this: service.shure.com/s/article/Can-I-use-Shure-True-Wireless-adapters-with-earphones-from-other-manufacturers?language=en_US
Ive been using my 535 for the past 4 years and unfortunately first part that breaks are the parts you wrap around your ear. Since I owned the 535's I have gone through 3 regular shure cables(they all lasted about 7-8 months) and one bt2 bluetooth cable. They all first lost stiffness(little metal wire breaks) then soon you loose function from that side. Cost of those cables were more than 250 euros. Casing of the earphones also started separating last year, glue comes off and one side lost volume even with great care. It costs 80 euro per earphone to change the casing. You can of course do it yourself for muuuch cheaper but you pay hundreds of euros for a "quality" product and it only lasts 3 years plus the money you spent on its accessories cost over 250 euros? Now how can I trust and get another shure product? I guess I'll spend my money sennheiser next, hopefully they are built better.
I'm not an audiophile but there is difference when using it through the 3.5mm and wireless adapter if that's what you are looking for? I found that if anything, the seal of the tips makes the most difference.
Brilliant video. Very nicely explained. Thank you. Just ordered my Gen 2 wireless adapter. Needed an insight. Great video and thank you
I have one of those gerber mini utility knives. They are so handy

Glad that it helps.
You can also set the toggles based on the number of taps on both earphones if you wished.
Thank you for the informative upload.
Glad that it helped!

The earphones have been great. The only thing for me is that I haven't been able to find a set of tips 😕
Does this work with a mp3 player like the astell & kern sr25?
If the mp3 player has bluetooth, I don't see why not?
Do this wireless adapter work with any IEM with mmcx or does this only work with Shure IEMs?

Does it havet a mic? Can you play one White the other is charging? Nice informative video, thx
Yes to both your questions😃
this should have been about 6 minutes in length not 15
So am I safe to assume that phone calls with the gen 2 now play sound on both sides because you didn’t mention it?
I did @12:53 :)
You forgot to show the manual mode to the equalizer. Haw many bands and what frequencies?
Hi, in terms of custom frequency adjustment, you can adjust the gain and bw for frequency between 40hz to 20k hz.
@@Imspir3 Thanks. I'm getting these. Last question. Are they typically louder than say tws sets (like Jabra elite 7 pro for example)
I heard that these pull out your inears when moving your head from side to side
Does the volume control only control the phone volume or can you turn the earphones up separately
It can turn the earphones up separately.
@@Imspir3 Thanks

That's unfortunate and disappointed to hear. Let's hope I don't have this problem in the future (so soon!).
How does it Can change songs and increase and decrease the volume. Thankkk
You can set them up in the app. You can setup different actions for both ears, single tap, double tap and triple tap.
Compare with the stock cable is this better?
Better in terms of sound quality I'm guessing? There is a subtle difference but you're sacrificing the convenience of wireless.
does it work with any brand of headphone with mmcx connector?
I don't have any other unfortunately.
I don't see why it wouldn't work though. 🤷
But I guess the other earphones won't be optimised.
I don’t know if I missed or not but can you use one at a time?
If you mean one earphone then yes, just turn off the other one by long pressing the button.
Do you know what is the difference between 1st gen and 2nd gen?
Hi, have a look from 12:22 onwards?
How the sound sounds with it on wireless mode

Thanks for the response thinking about picking them up.
Time to go back to the day job I think mate 🤔
😂 I have a very good day job.
