I can’t believe you didn’t talk about the ambience feature on these!! It’s the best I’ve ever experienced. Even better than the Air Pod Pros. While the call quality problem sucks on the users end callers I’m talking to say that I sound great. It’s a manageable annoyance. This is the Shure Bluetooth adapter I’ve been waiting for. Third times a charm, I guess. I’m very, very happy that my 846’s are now truly wireless.

Super informative. I've owned Shure SE315's for years. Had no idea wireless tech was readily available. Went Sennheiser Momentum TW1, then TW2 and have been relatively pleased but always missed the sound isolating quality of the Shure IEM's. Thanks for the great video. Purchased through your link. Hope you get a cut!

Thank you for this review Stan! I have been a long time Shure user and have been looking at this product for a bit now. Your feedback as to the phone comm issues are legit. It kind of doesn't surprise me coming from an audio first company. I think the engineers and designers think the high majority of users/ consumers are going to be audio and existing users. Of course, this does not excuse this oversight but I think this is their point of view be it a good one or not. Thanks again!

Bought and returned them , they have nowhere near the drive needed. My shure 846 sound thin and poor. I use the xb10 mini amp and dac and thought these would be more convenient but the drop is sound quality is huge. My nuraloop sound better than my846 using these. With the xb10 the 846 blow my nuraloop to pieces. I should have known when you said airpod pro are close to the 846. My son has them and they are well below my nuraloop for sound.

Thanks for the video! I purchased it as soon as it arrived here in India. I'm using it with Aonic 215. It sounds great! I agree with you that they should improve the calling experience in this adapter. I have another gripe, though; the volume of music in Spotify is very low in this. I am not sure why. I have to use some third party apps to increase the volume in Spotify. All the others, like Apple Music, Amazon Music, TH-cam Music, etc sound fine.

By the way these will work with any MMCX IEM and you can get 2 pin to MMCX adapters as well. But you really shouldn't buy these considering Fiio UTWS5 is cheaper sounds as good & gets louder but doesn't have an EQ. But considering that galaxy buds pro are the same price. Even if you have $1000 IEMs it's not worth it. You'll be more likely to lose them & it's still less convenient & feature rich than TWS bud for the same price.

I’ve been looking for a replacement for Powerbeats Pro that were just stolen from me and I was dreading having to replace them either more lackluster beats audio or venturing out to another hook style earbud. I absolutely need the hook style because earbuds themselves do not fit in my weirdly shaped ears no matter what tip used. This seems to be a godsend for me personally as I didn’t even know these existed. I love good audio and I do not mind putting some decent money into a good pair. Should I expect a decent upgrade from the Powerbeats Pro? 😂 Also were more bugs ironed out from future firmware updates that you mentioned?

Here's a stupid question that may or may not be relevant: is there any reliable, low-latency way to use this as monitors from a 1/4" source? I would love to have wireless headphones (and would love to use my Shure SE846) while playing the drums and monitoring mic outputs wirelessly from my Scarlett, but obviously there is no native bluetooth and I'd have to use an adapter. Depending on the battery life with the enviro mode on and the kinds of tips that you have, I would suggest not simply due to how much they can block out in passive noise cancellation as theres no active. or just one, Just for your safety, depending on the shape of your ear and the helmet they do sit relatively inside your ear and do not stick out very much but that is mostly due to ear shape and also the padding inside your helmet.
