The thing with Peregrine is... he's not wrong about the Ministry being corrupt. Especially in the events of the Order of the Phoenix. But from the way I'm reading it... he's going about it in the wrong way.
Dumbledore knows. His remark that charisma is Peregrine's greatest weapons speaks volumes. He wants the main character to make their own choise. Peregrine's facade fell quickly when provoked. He shares the same anger of his son but tops it off with a lack of sympathy. He might care for his daughter but he is careful to gaslight her.
Surely the games boutta be finished I mean there’s 5 chapters left. There’s Surely got to be a happy ending and there has to be a cannon ending with the person your dating with.

There's a bunch of red flags in regards to Pergerine alright-that sudden outburst was only one of them. It feels even more so that he's manipulating us into joining his cause, and sooner or later the MC has to take a stand against R once and for all.
I kind of quit playing Hogwarts Mystery a long time ago. Watching your playthrough helps keep me up to date with the plot, despite our MCs having different love interests 😅
MC needs to talk to Dumbledore! That should be first on their list after this rather disastrous meeting with this HORRIBLE parent. They were on their way to talk to Dumbledore about the whole thing, WHICH THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE LONG AGO if they had any sense, and got stopped by Peregrine. He's evil. I can feel it.
I have to admit, Peregrine is a lot better than my own dad. All what my dad literally does is eat, sleep and watch television and when I say eat I mean he eats more than he needs. He also only cares about my older sister, and he doesn't care about my interests or what my plans are and has never been the slightest bit supportive of what I want to do with my life.

fr like we started with a new student whos brother was a troublemaker and the plot was to save him and after we saved him we barely spoke to him. now we have a weirdo dad who only seems to care about his job and always humiliates his own son who was literally got expelled because of him like whats going on

The fact that the Circle decide to keep supporting the MC is quite moving, hopefully we'll get more actions in the next chapter.
I just hope they will still support MC if they do join R (if that’s even an option)
