    Wow Rob, I've been watching all your vids you've been putting out and it's blowing me away the R and D you put into your products. All makes perfect sense when you explain it!

    Definitely gonna need a pair of these. I’ve been thinking I need a stiffer fin blade but come to think of it the torsion stiffness on mine are not great at all. Thanks for working on this!

    No other brand will put out a video explaining so simply and effectively how and why their technology works. Excellent video Rob as always. I'm still diving plastic fins but will absolutely consider these when I look to upgrade.

    Very true one should not feel fins even after a longer day of spearfishing.
    I first had stiff blade plastic fins and ended up with soft carbon fins. Love them.
    Some people are afraid of carbon because they feel its fragile. I use mine since many years and have to say they are tougher built than we imagine. Only broke off a tiny piece on the end - probably somebody stepping on it over gear on the messy boat :))) .
    I use carbon fins everywhere, even in 'tougher' terrain. My first scratches on the fin did hurt :) but they are working tools, so today they are quite scratched due to lots of rocks but function perfectly.
    I feel also carbon performance stays, while plastic fins lose their softeners etc. and become hard and lose performance.
    Can recommend truly to go for carbon fins - will change your spearo life :)
    Congrats RA team. Keep it going! >

      I have C4 Pershing carbons with stiff C300 footpockets. Medium stiffness. I weigh 130kg, 145 kg with weights and 5mm suit, and they work perfect for me. I feel like putting in 10-20% of foot power and I move very fast. I also wanted fiberglass fins, so I ordered Leaderfins and got them hard stiffness - I put 90% of my footpower in and move slower than with my carbons medium stiffness. Exhausting. That is the magic of carbon - they do the work for you with their reactivity. I will also try fiberglass medium and soft. But the more I look into it - the more I realize that it is best to forget everything else other than carbon.

    I’m happy that you came out with the blades you did. I had a carbon pair in the past that resisted torsional flex and I really liked it. It was just a bit stiff for me. Nice to see it’s also universal fitting for foot pockets. What stiffnesses are you offering these blades in? I’d love to get some in my hands to feel them.

      We have 4-5 versions of torsional flex that you can try😎👍

    Hi Mr Rob, could you push Adreno from Australia to sell this fin? Their staff told us they no longer sell this blades and we can’t get them in Australia

  • @ruitian8724

    Dear Rob, I managed to source a seller and got your fin this week and kind wonder what the warranty would be? Can't wait to try it in water.
    Kind Regards, Terry

      Hi Terry, we don't give an open warranty, we take each claim and check it over. If it is clearly abuse, no warranty. If we can see a possible factory fault like de-lamination, it will be honored. Just be aware it is a high end product and should not be used like an old plastic fin blade. Shore diving is possible but try not to stress them too much when entering and leaving the surf. Try not kick of the bottom or, jump off rocks into the sea. You will find the performance easily out ways the need to be a little careful when using them.

      @ruitian8724 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RobAllenSpearfishing oh, that's literately meaning a life time warranty if not being broken by abuse?!
      I thought all carbon fins can literally been bend into an O shape, and a bit hard to understand how it can be broken by jumping into the sea surface? The worst scenario it could be is being bended into O shape isn’t it?
      Are sellers clear about this policy or I have to take this screenshoot to them? Cheers, Terry

      @@ruitian8724 Hi Terry, sorry your reply ended up in spam, just fished it out now. Yes a carbon blade can be rolled into an O but.... it is not about doing a slow bend but more about shock loads. Carbon is a lot more brittle, pros and cons re this. A "lifetime warranty" is subject to close scrutiny from us. If the blade comes in with many scratches and chips, I doubt we would be replacing. As mentioned above, we will investigate any claims to make sure they are genuine or not. You would be surprised as to what we sometimes see. Hence our need to inspect the product closely.

      @@RobAllenSpearfishing Thank you for your reply dear Rob! Your explaination helps! I was worried about that your X manufacture process may compromise the bending flexibility but I'm happy now when you said they can still be bended over as much as the other carbon blades do. As long as your carbon blades are not more vulnerable than other carbon blades, then I'll be very comfortable using them. Kind Regards, Terry

      @@ruitian8724 In our opinion, they are tougher that the majority out there but.... not indestructible 😜👍

    Hi Mr Rob, when selecting the stiffness according to the weight, shall we count in the weight of the weight belt or just boday weight? Regards Terry

    • @RobAllenSpearfishing
      @RobAllenSpearfishing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We suggest the stiffness by weight with an average weight belt but, recently my business partner notices that his fins that work fine when he is weighted for a 3mm suit, felt too sort for his new 5mm as he had to add more weight. Also, he dives shallower with the 5mm suit so adds an extra weight to help stay down. For this type of diving he now has a stiffer fin. So, yes that variable can make a difference. Most will therefore just go with a stiffer fin for both suit and belt set ups. There is also a variable in what fish you hunt, deep diving for slow reef fish, use a softer fin. Bomb diving on game fish (I prefer doing) use a stiffer fin, each to his own. This is not an exact science 😜👍
