DK if such a ride even exists here where I live. But, I LOVE the way it takes you up on so many drops and turns you around at certain points. If I could ever visit Ireland, I'd make a definite POINT to go to this park for this ride, alone. TYSM for sharing this video with us. 👍😉❣😻
The theming could be improved in a couple areas, but overall it's a nice looking ride with three fun looking drops. That first drop looks the best. I don't think I've ever seen a flume ride turn in the middle of a drop like that.
It was such a good attraction. It's the first time we've seen a drop like that as well. It really throws you to the side (not in a painful way), but it takes you by suprise. The park planted over 5000 trees to try and recreate the Irish landscape during the Viking age. I can't even begin to imagine how much that must have eaten into the theming budget 🙈
Yeah they never even finished the top of the big drop before it opened and its still like that. Makes me wonder if they will ever get things completed in the new area.
Did this today alongside the Quest & Na Fianna Force, was absolutely amazing! 🤩 Not a great rollercoaster & theme parks fan but I sure did break this fear barrier with them rides! 🫶

I went to emerald park with my school in june, it was pretty fun !! I got to go on this ride (only got to ride it twice due to huge queues) and it scared the hell out of me the first time, but I enjoyed it the second time :)

I worked at Disneyland Paris and they’d have cameras, with someone watching but set back so you can’t see them. You didn’t spend all day doing it, someone would be on a break then would come and replace you, then you’d go and replace whoever was putting people on, who’d go and replace someone at the entrance who’d go on a break so you were always doing something a bit different

A special needs child recently died in New Jersey because the safety harness holding her and her wheelchair in place on the school bus blocked her airway. And the bus monitor didn't notice this sweet little girl was being strangled to death by the harness because she was on her phone.
I think that's great for people with panic attacks, who want to leave the attraction when seeing the lifthill. They could stop the boat to let someone out.
Some of the track/supports are on-site, but not yet vertical. It sure was. We will, however, be back for another visit next year, once the new development is completed. We had a great couple of days in there this year, and we're very much looking forward to coming back 🙂
lol this so reminds me of a knock off outdoor version on the cheap of Valhalla at blackpool? Also im SO GLAD TO SEE that the attendant that is there for safety on the 2nd lift hill is being paid to sit there browsing her phone (i know it must be a boring job to do BUT) still she is supposed to be there to keep an eye on the customers and ride NOT browse on he bloody phone! Im not knocking the ride as it looks a lot of fun BUT they could of at least covered over some of the red steel beams and itergrated them into the ride (as in covered them over with the grey stone effect! all in all though it looks fun to ride!
How come these "Viking maidens" you see along the ride aren't in Viking costume, or at least matching theme park uniform and what's with the use of mobile phones at work all the time 🤔. Doesn't happen at the bigger park's
The kid's crying very common I feel most will get passed it I was forced to get on splash mountain was crying before leaving station worker said maybe he shouldn't ride. My dad said he's my f inn skn he's riding this ride. That was that year's after that I got passed it. The funniest thing I've heard on ride. The mummy at universal. The coaster stops starts turning around to reveal a hill. That btw has a launch mid way up amazing and 1st time I road it was unexpected and amazing. 3 friend's together next to me and one. Yells top of his lungs YOU LIEEDD. IT DOES HAVE A HILL. Got me😂
It has a lack of theming for my taste. Lots of trees, rock formations, and that giant viking helmet. With only a hut and a viking ship. But no vikings? No animatronics? The track is cool but I would need more immersion.
Compared to a lot of other rides of this type, this is actually pretty epic. We really enjoyed it, and thought it was great. But appreciate this type of ride isn't for everyone 🙂

Valhalla blackpool pleasure beach was the 1st water ride to have the turn and drop backwards feature

What were the creators of this ride thinking? No story, no sense of a "place" or journey. Pretty lame and visionless.
