@SousaphoneMusic Absolutely. This is a perfect example of Intamin getting it right. It's a thrilling ride from start to finish. The theming is also amazing!
Wonderful theme park, visited it in the seventies and early eighties, always felt then that narrowing your ride to a certain film was very limiting. In Phantasia the theme rides have unlimited scope.
My daughter loved this ride so much she went twice. The second time by herself. Even though she got soaked the first time. In 10 degree celsius weather. I had bought special waterproof shoes and we had poncho's. Still got wet. Even my feet. What an epic ride.
Meilleur flume ride au monde ! Que de bons souvenirs ! (Pour ceux qui l'auraient manqué, la visite de Phantasialand est toujours disponible sur ma chaîne)
Thank you. Yes, we did seek permission from Guest Services when picking up our fast passes. We were only allowed to use the GoPro chest strap (no hand strap), hence looking so close to the rider in front. We couldn't unfortunately select where we wanted to sit, so had to make the most of it from the back seat of the boat.
see THIS is what parks in America should be like or doing, some serious theming around rides like this and that coaster. For example take a coaster that is good but then that park would build a theme or whatever it's called around the existing roller coaster giving it an immersive like feeling.
I like the compactness of Phantasialand and how so many different rides share the same spaces. That would NEVER work here in America because Americans LITERALLY have to touch EVERYTHING that lies within their grasp and there would be SO MANY dismemberments and decapitations. This is why we can’t have nice things. Great ride and great video!
@@detroitdiezel7856 It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Cedar Point but I don’t recall any of the major attractions interlocking tracks with one another. Yes, they cover a lot of real estate but usually the only thing to be found in that footprint is the ride exclusively (with a few exceptions but the clearances are VERY generous.) On the upside I would imagine that makes emergencies easier to deal with. Everything in Phantasialand is so intertwined that it would be an EMS nightmare trying to get to a disabled train or stranded passengers.
You are so right! I was watching a coaster video last week. It was a group of Americans on it and the guy in front of the guy filming kept reaching out to touch the sides and bars!
@lanceflx63 It's just a lap bar, so they sound suit all shapes and sizes. There is plenty of leg room in the boats, so no problem for taller people to ride.
Yes, have seen the footage of him riding "Colorado Adventure The Michael Jackson Thrill Ride". It's out favorite Mine Train coaster. We actually filmed our POV from the back seat he sat in: th-cam.com/video/21xTdQsB138/w-d-xo.html
It's quite a unique ride. The "ancient rave light show party" was pretty cool lol!
😂
Wow. What a cool ride!!! This park is so advanced
@ItsNoelMulkey Yes, agree. For a water ride, this does so much beyond the traditional lift and drop into a splashdown.
So strange, yet so fun. Probably one of the better log rides Ive seen.
It's very unique, and a lot of fun!
What a fun ride!

Chiapas will always be my fav log flume. ♥️♥️♥️ and the soundtrack makes me feel so good when i listen to it. 🌸

@@XtremeCoastersso glad you liked it. 🥺🥺🥺 im so curious to see the new themed areas they are working on atm 🥳 they get better and better
Such a great ride. Love these log flumes that combine roller coaster elements. Wishing we had something like this in the States.
@@kanealoha It's an amazing ride. You even get airtime, lol

We have several, just nowhere as good... 😔
@benm1414 😂
The Dudley Dorite water ride in Universal Studios Orlando combines them.
Fun fact: “Chiapas” is an actual state in México. Lovely ride tho and the music is amazing 💖
Yes, agree. We love this ride also 🙂
missed this one on our visit since it was down for maintenance, seems like a good reason to go back some time though!

5 minutes of the most beautifully decorated log flume is spoiled by a bunch of scaffolding and plastic at the end.

Are the restraints real restrictive for taller or bigger people?

The maintenance on this thing must be killer.
It has a lot going on. We've never seen it go down on any oh our visits to the park though 🙂
A great water ride, but I rarely go on it, the bars are so annoying and your feet are constantly wet, you have no chance to defend yourself. -.-
Yes, we did get absolutely drenched. The restraints didn't bother us in fairness.
A little weird, but....I guess fun?🤔
