All long exposure shots are from the native camera app in night mode 🤙🏼
If your phone does not have this, use Lightroom app goes to 1 sec exposure or the moment camera app 🙏
@@nooralmtowaq4241 there was never any “10 sec exposure” the longest long exposure photo in this video was 2 seconds any other long exposure shots were done through live mode 🙏 hope that helps .
Fire shots man! I recently got myself the pro max and tried something similar to your shot at 7:37 with night mode set at 2sec exposure and it definitely did not take 2sec. The moving cars hold still in the photo... do you have any special setting selected?
Rather than carry a tripod, have you tried the app SPECTRE with has 3, 5 and 9 second hand held?
@H M yep, but those shots aren't "live photos", just night mode which doesn't allow to set "live" mode on. What I say is that you set 3 sec exposure for example and a bus or car passing you by, and the motion blur you get is that of a 1 sec exposure or less

I typically do only ever shoot portrait vertical as most of my work goes on socials if it’s for a client then I’d be shooting both landscape and portrait 🙏

How to you put your phone camera into night mode?
Also, so u always take photos in ‘live’ mode?
It goes into night mode automatically when it detects low light. There will be a small yellow icon in the upper left hand corner telling you how many seconds the shot will be.

Long exposure during the day is pretty much impossible. You would need an ND filter to reduce light hitting the sensor.

When you shooting with your Go Pro 8, are you shooting with Linear or Wide lens ? I guess it doesn't have the Linear 4K

How did you get the presets on the phone ie city mode etc! I have just come to London for 2 days had some of my light trails of London buses a poop and how can I get looking good also have DJI 4 osmo gimble
No problems with flare? I’ve seen some pretty awful examples in situations that look similar to yours.

wow very impressive. I've been reading how the pro max is much better and can do so much more than the regular pro, but these shots seem good enough.
Do you really need to mount your iPhone onto a tripod in order to use the night mode to get this result or you can just hold the iPhone in your hands
No but it helps 🙏🏼 holding with your hands can get the same but it won’t be as sharp because you can’t hold your hands that still for 2/3 seconds 🙏🏼

I’m a professional photographer but have noticed that sometimes I can’t take my Sony RX10 with me everywhere I go and so I got interested in mastering my photography with my iPhone so in cases where I can’t take my DSLR with me I’ll be able to capture some incredible photos with just my iPhone and by the way I have the iPhone 12 not the pro one. It would be super epic if you could do a video on the iPhone 12 camera and how to get amazing photos as my iPhone 12 has been taking quite a grainy quality photos and I’ve been quite upset honestly
@OpticalWander do you have problems with green lense flares on your 12 pro ? I really like my 12 pro max but the lense flares at night is too much. Whenever there are street lights and things like that it gives lots of lens flares. Others are reporting the same. From your pics it didnt look like you had any of those lense flares at all ? Don't understand this. Unless you edited them out later?
Yes it is an issue but this is one of the draw backs to phone cameras. The only way around it would be with a polariser or a nd filter I believe. When I take the photo I’ll see the flare and then make sure to move or angle the camera so it doesn’t catch the light.
@@Opticalwander Yes I tried this also but sometimes it just doesnt work no matter how you angle it if you want a certain shot. I still think they missed something with the coating. My old 8 plus didnt do this. Did you not get any flares on the photos in this video? It didnt look like it.
