Dude. I'm speechless. What a crazy treasure chest of scarce and unusual pieces. The exact type of pieces I dream about. Felt I was right there with you!
Hi DubC! Thanks for checking out the silver with me! Many, many peices I did not have, so it was a great haul. Happy to have received a lot of one ounce bars for the GH boxes😊
Wow wow wow Silver Struck, without doubt this video must go down as the best unboxing of vintage silver that I have ever seen 👋 I'm almost lost for words 🤣you have scooped the pool with this variety of unique & rare bars & rounds 🔥thank you for allowing us to share in your enthusiasm as you sorted through this box of treasures. Cheers Peter J 🤗✌🔥👍ps. a big congrats on passing 5K subs 😂💪👍
Thank you for the full watch BA! This was an amazing haul of vintage silver. Really fun to unbox and go over. Now I have some more bars for the GH boxes.
Welp....Christmas is not going to meet expectations with a day like today. The mountain goat may be my favorite! That hound is pretty cool as well! SO cool!
Incredible unboxing. The Alexander's bar was probably my fav out of all of them because I remember the department store. We had one up in the original Menlo Park Mall (pre-1990's).
A very big package. If I convert correctly, you have in one package the equivalent of my entire stack (or collection), impressive. The 20 minutes of video went by very quickly as this unboxing was so impressive. Well done to you.
Your always leaving nice comments and I thank you for that! It had been a bit of time since I made a larger purchase, so this was a welcome box to receive.
What a haul! Can only find one or two at a time in my area. I think a lot of the vintage bars have been melted over the years because coin shop owners and dealers have treated them as “impaired” and just dumped them.
I think the one you said was a Foster is actually a Colonial bar. I believe they were around on the 60's to 70's. I've always wanted one of those Alexander bars from that series JM had. I have fond memories as a little child of going to Alexanders. Very nice and diverse set of vintage Struck.
You’ve unboxed most of our entire vintage collections in just this video, lol. Idk what to even say about some of those pieces! I have a 100 gram Johnson Matthey & Mallory Canada bar! My favorite was probably the Mountain Goat
Nice haul my friend, I recently left you a comment about Go Big Or Go Home and you certainly did that there buddy. CSAN may try to get that Mountain Goat bar off of you since I think he has gone down the rabbit hole and started a new collection of wildlife bars Nice to see that a number of the bars there are ones that are new to you for your collection. Amazing, you made it through the whole box in one video. GD
HI GD! I was chuckling when I read the go big comment because i knew this deal was in play, lol! Already been emailing with CSAN- you nailed that. He hasn't said anything about the goat yet- just offering to help with the USVI collection. I did sell silver to the LCS to loosen up funds for future purchases. All my silver Tudors are gone- still collecting the series in gold.
What an amazing assortment!! I could hear the excitement talking about these pieces! Looking forward to the A mark video!!! Be careful using fish math. 20 minutes isnt nothing. Ill probably watch this 3 or 4 times anyway 😂
@@asheland_numismatics Mix of all you just said. A collector reached out because he's converting silver into gold and wanted to sell some silver. He sent pics of his collection- I knew I was getting the USVI but a lot of the silver was a total surprise. The deal was a cost average style deal- a price per ounce (over spot) to acquire the whole lot. I asked for 70 ounces roughly. The deal went well, imo. looking at other buy soon.
@@SilverStruck Man, that’s great! Congratulations! I love when members of our community find new bars. It’s always cool, people like us really appreciate these bars. 👍

Heck of a comment brother, thank you for all the support! I also appreciate the info on the WH Foster bars! I know you are a collector of that refiner and my WH Foster collection is just beginning. I looked up the bars on AE after the video and see exactly what you talked about. That's the challenge with unboxing videos when you don't know about everything in the box. As you might know, I normally research first and talk about the details of the bar...but not in this video, lol! A lot of these bars will be seen again as i add one ounce bars to the GH box and disperse the rest of the silver into the proper areas of the collection. The USVI bars almost doubled what i had already. Take care AGAU, thank you again for the comment, your the best!

WOW! I'm only 3 videos in to my catching up, and I have to wonder if this one isn't the "pièce de résistance"? I think you should have waited to release this on Christmas morning, as this very much had a "kid opening his presents on Christmas kind of vibe". I would be writing you a book, were I to take the time to comment on every bar and round, but these were truly amazing! I'm curious, and maybe I'm dense or hard of hearing, but I don't remember you discussing much about this beyond a friend of Georgia sending you this box of bars. In short, I think I missed something. Was this something that someone sent you just because they wanted to make it rain money on you, "vintage" money in your case, or is this some kind of purchase or trade? I might go back and listen to the first couple of minutes to see if you say but I just don't recall hearing it. Anyway, incredible! I'm super jealous of all of those AMark Traps you got! I only have a few of those, and I won't bore you with my store about the ones that got away several years back, which I'm sure I've already shared anyway. Absolutely phenomenal bars and rounds, and a great careful presentation of them all. I'm astonished that you got through all of them in 20 minutes. Anyway, thank you so much for sharing this! Does your friend in Georgia need more friends? 🤣😂 Seriously, outstanding video! Congrats on getting a hold of all of these bars and rounds. It couldn't have gone to a better stacker/collector! Take care & keep stacking!
Several different collectors have reached out to me for purchases recently. I did pay a premium for this silver but not nearly as bad as Ebay. This collector for the South is a good person and reasonable! I've since made a second purchase and that will be shown very soon. The vintage rabbit hole goes deep, lol! Oh Yeah- I did liquidate some other non vintage silver to help fund this purchase, so I do sell sometimes as well.
It's really an honor to reach 5k. Almost four years into this channel for me to hit that number. The real prize is the friendships! Thank you sir for your support😊

5k 👏👏👏
It's really an honor to reach 5k. Almost four years into this channel for me to hit that number. The real prize is the friendships! Thank you sir for your support😊
But beautiful.
Thank you for watching!
Shooter's or Sooters?
On unboxing videos I do minimal editing so please excuse any mistakes made- it's Sooters. I did put the H sound in there during the video.
Can anyone shed some insight on brown materials and co 10 oz bar. I just got one for $340 and can't find much info on it.
I hope someone chimes in here for you!
Not long enough😢 😂
Thank you for that! I do get a little concerned when I post long videos for the time commitment viewers make.
good video to many bars not enough rounds
I'm mostly a bar stacker but I do have some vintage rounds in the stack. Thank you for watching👍
check those national Dallas with a sigma and get back to me
Will do! My machine is at the office, so I'll see what the sigma says Monday

Looks like someone got a hold of their mom's credit card

Its just too bad that you are going to have to work so hard on research 😂
You have a point there, lol! Already been at and having fun with it. Many bars I didn't collect yet, so excited for that 😊
