Those lowwer drive bearing on the clutch side has a lock collar on it that wut the set screws are for to lock it , if you look at it it'll spin a little bit and itll tighten up, go the other way and it'll loosen

Good video.yes first time is a learning curve.
Gets easier the more you do of them.
It easier to pull the chsincase off completely lesving jackshaft in place.
Then remove speedo cup and push drive wheels towards chaincase hole and drop speedo end of drive wheel assembly down.
Just reverse reassembly. Polaris has a disc the goes on the jackshaft stub that comes thru chaincase assembly and one gor the bottom drivewheel stub. Just slides on and and use washer and nut to hold alignments.
Then everything spins in alignmenti see you are from Mich.
    I was from BC.
In Florida now but hate it. Too many people. And too much sand. It gets everywhere

I am not sure if you did this but I would change the jackshaft bearings, they look rough. I would also change the drive axle bearings. If those let go you will be walking. It will not handle well on trails with the limiter strap like you have it, I would crank it down.

    Belt deflection is key

Plus side play and idel or stop posision.
If memorie serves me correctly I believe it is .020 " between belt and sleeve at rest.
Adjust by shims on drive clutch spider
Your take off will be much better as you are starting off in " a lower gear" so to speak

Your fuel filter is in backwards. The inflowing fuel should contact the outside of the filter material....

Dude you definitely have no idea what your doing when it comes to working on snowmobiles , so please let the people that do help you , there's nothing wrong with that belt, if you knew how to adjust your secondary clutch you can fix that issue !!!
