I love how he makes these weird exceptions for the first half of the verse, about how Jesus only asking a question and not necessarily denying his own goodness, you never touches on the fact that Jesus explicitly admits that only God is good in the second part of the verse. Therefore it doesn't really matter that Jesus asked a question rather than making a statement in the first half of the verse because in the very second half he makes is very own limitation known by admitting that only God is good. Also, the fact that mark made references to previous verses or that he himself labels jesus a certain way, isnt substantial proof of jesus divinity.

@@tongakhan230 Sorry to mute. Anyway thanks. I do not want my comment to be too long as it is very long already. To fully understand, it has to be understood in entire context not just of the verse but of the entire chapter and even of the whole gospel of Mark. When Mark or any of the NT books were written, there were not subdivided into chapters and verses but one flowing continuous letter ... which can be properly understood and interpreted only by reading it through and not try to pluck a clause, phrase, or even an entire verse to mean what it does not say. Mark 2 tells us that Jesus forgives sins which only God can forgive. So, He must be God. Also Mark 2 shows us Jesus knows what is going on in the hearts of men ... again only what God can do. And in Mark 5, Jesus raised up a dead girl ... which only God can do, not a mere creature. In Mark 6, He walked on the waves and He commanded the winds to cease ... which only God can do ... There are too many ... So, in Mark 10, it is obvious that is asking the young men whether he really know who Jesus is ... not just an extraordinary, noble, righteous and good man but that He is also God ... for only God is good. No man can be good all in all aspects and all the time ... and man invariably fail at some point ...
@@zoeashes6347 : That only God can forgive sins was a FALSE charge brought by the Jews. Matthew 18:21 Then Peter came and said to him: “Lord, how many times is my brother to sin against me and am I to forgive him? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus said to him: “I say to you, not up to seven times, but up to 77 times. Jesus was GIVEN the power to be able to read thoughts when NEEDED. There were times when Jesus just didn't know what God had done through him. Luke 8:44 She approached from behind and touched the fringe of his outer garment, and immediately her flow of blood stopped. 45 So Jesus said: “WHO TOUCHED ME?” When they were all denying it, Peter said: “Instructor, the crowds are hemming you in and pressing against you.” 46 But Jesus said: “SOMEONE TOUCHED ME, for I KNOW THAT POWER WENT OUT OF ME.” Resurrections were done by others; Elijah and Paul. God did the resurrections through these ones including Jesus. Jesus had no power to do anything UNTIL God gave his his holy spirit at Jesus' baptism. There is a simple statement made by the apostle John who knew Jesus intimately he being also related in a fleshly way to him. 'No man has SEEN God at ANY TIME.' - 1 John 4:12. Wouldn't that be a rather strange statement to make if Jesus was God, and John and many others HAD SEEN Jesus.?
Matthew 1;18 Now the *genesis* of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. Jesus the son of God is not God the Father, the one and only true God. The genesis of Jesus Christ is at his birth, he never existed prior to him being created in the womb of Mary using the seed of Joseph.
My friend, please read the passage properly- Jesus was not of the seed of Joseph and Mary, but He was the Son of God (2nd person of the Trinity), pre-existing alongside God the Father, but for a period of time took on flesh(became a true human being), so that he could forgive people of their sins. All these points have scriptural backing- Matthew 1:18-25 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, *before* *they* *came* *together* , she was found with *child* *of* *the* *Holy* *Spirit* . Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is *of* *the* *Holy* *Spirit* . And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name *Jesus* , for He will *save* *His* *people* *from* *their* *sins* .” So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the *virgin* *shall* *be* *with* *child* , and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and *did* *not* *know* *her* *till* *she* *had* *brought* *forth* *her* *firstborn* *Son* . And he called His name Jesus. John 1:1,14 In the *beginning* *was* *the* *Word* , and the *Word* *was* *with* *God* , and the *Word* *was* *God* . And the *Word* *became* *flesh* and *dwelt* *among* *us* , and we beheld *His* glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
@@natashathomas1384 The evidence to support Jesus being the literal son of Joseph comes from many different verses of the Bible. One in Matthew another in Luke lists the genealogy of Jesus through his father Joseph, which would be pointless to write if he wasn't physically from that line. I'm not saying Joseph and Mary slept together to make Jesus, but the seed of Joseph was used. This also makes it easier to understand why in his lifetime Jesus was called the son of man, Matthew 18:11 plus many others, and the son of Joseph - Matthew 13;55, Mark 6;3, Luke 4;22; John 1;45, 6;42 and Jesus never says they were incorrect. Now the topic of John 1;1, it isn't talking about the beginning of creation the Genesis account from the Torah. To prove this take a look at John 1;6 "There came a man having been sent from God. His name was John" what happened to Adam and Eve? John the baptist did not live when the world was created, this has to make you think why it jumps to this if it was about the origin of the world. Its about a new beginning, the beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah preached by John the Baptist. The word used there is *arche* the real question is what beginning. Compare these verses which use the word *arche* meaning beginning - Luke 1;3, Mark 1;1, John 15;27, 1John 1;1-2, 2John 1;5-6, 2;24, 3;11 and you will hopefully see the connection and notice how they are usually from the very first verses of these books just like Matthew 1;18.
@@powerofwun My friend, it's very clear from the Bible that Jesus was not of the seed of Joseph literally. How was the seed of Joseph used to create Jesus if Joseph didn't sleep with Mary before Jesus was born? And it's very clear- Matthew 1:24-25- Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and *did* *not* *know* *her* *till* *she* *had* *brought* *forth* *her* *firstborn* *Son* . And he called His name Jesus. The genealogy of Jesus is written in both Matthew and Luke because we have to remember that the coming of the Messiah was prophecied to different people like Abraham, David, etc. God had promised that the Messiah would come through their family line- E.g- Genesis 12:3 - I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you (Abraham); And in you *all* *the* *families* *of* *the* *earth* *shall* *be* *blessed* .” Isaiah 9:6-7 - For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, *Upon* *the* *throne* *of* *David* *and* *over* *His* *kingdom* , To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. So, Jesus having a genealogy doesn't prove that He's not God because He wasn't a created being, that started to exist at His birth, but the Creator God, that limited Himself and came as a human being, using Mary as a vessel so that He could come as a man. (John 1:1) Jesus was God incarnate or God in the flesh. And yes, Jesus had humanity in His person too. Now, Son of man is a statement used with respect to Job, Ezekiel, etc, but there is a big difference- Matthew 12:40 - For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here. Matthew 16:27-28 - For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. “Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.” Mark 2:10 - But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”-He said to the paralytic, John 5:27 - and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. See what power and authority Jesus the Son of Man is having! He will come *in* *the* *glory* *of* *His* *Father* , come *in* *his* *kingdom* will *reward people* , *has* *power* *on* *earth* *to* *forgive* *sins* , *authority* *to* *execute* *judgement* , etc. How could a mere son of man in your context have this much power? Jesus called Himself The Son of Man, to fulfill a Messianic prophecy- “I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed. (Daniel 7:13-14) Jesus who says He has this much authority (He even says He is greater than a mere prophet, 'for indeed a greater than Jonah is here') is referring to this Son of Man as prophecied in Daniel. In Ezekiel and Job, they are called son of man, to show their frailty as a human, but the things Jesus associates with His usage of The Son of Man can only mean that He meant that He would be the One fulfilling the Daniel prophecy. Also, has Job or Ezekiel ever claimed to have such authority to forgive sins and all?
@@powerofwun John 1:1 also clearly proves that John was talking about the very beginning- John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. *All* *things* *were* *made* *through* *Him* , and without Him nothing was made that was made. 'All things were made through Him' - John is talking about the creation itself, because creation didn't happen when the Word became flesh, but before that. Also, John is going on to say that Jesus (The Word) created all things. John is clearly giving a little history about the 'Word that was made flesh.' This aligns perfectly with the creation account- Genesis 1:1-2, 26 In the beginning *God* created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the *Spirit* *of* *God* was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let *Us* make man in *Our* image, according to *Our* likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Also, why would John write about the things in the Torah again? He was writing the gospel, and it wasn't necessary for Him to write the story of Adam and Eve- that's just not the purpose. The purpose was to write what Jesus said and did, and how He proved to be God. Even if we consent and agree that it was a new beginning, the fact is that the 'Word was God', I.e, Jesus was God. Sorry that I am writing so much, but the Truth must be told, and I hope you understand that I am writing all this for the sole purpose that your soul may be saved from the destruction to come, and that you open your eyes to the Truth, and come to the saving grace of Christ. Luke 1:3 - it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write to you an orderly account, most excellent Theophilus, Mark 1:1 - The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. See if these verses are read in context, the apostles clearly talk about the beginning of the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, I.e, from the beginning of that particular time when God became flesh, in the Person of Jesus Christ. John 15:27 - And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning. Again Jesus is saying that the disciples have been with Him from the beginning of His ministry on earth. 1 John 1:1-3 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life- Again if read in context, the earthly ministry of Christ- when He was God in the flesh, so that the apostles could feel and see. 2 John 1:5- And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another. Context makes it clear that it talks about the love that was there at the beginning of the Church of Jesus Christ- the commandment that Jesus gave to them, which they had from the very beginning, I.e after Jesus' ascension and the start of the early church (Acts 2:40-47) John is writing much later, looking back at the time, and saying that to Christians it's not a new command that we must love one another, but it was with us at the very beginning, whe Jesus gave us that command. (You have given 2 more references, but that's not found in the Bible)
@@natashathomas1384 So you have thrown Matthew 1;18 under the bus. Do not ignore this just because you have twisted other verses to try make it seem Jesus lived prior to his own creation. There was a very long period of time when Jesus did not exist. What is very clear is that the *genesis* of Jesus was at his birth, so he could not have been around prior to his own creation in Mary and his coming into existence for the first time ever. If genesis does not mean origin there then that creates a lot of problems for you in the Genesis account we read in the Torah, you can't just change the meaning of the word to suit your agenda. I stumbled on this when I first heard it too, but don't assume they had to have sex, many miracles happened in the Bible. What sort of question is this, LOL. I could ask you how can a man walk on water or divide the sea, of course God can put Josephs seed in Mary prior to the genesis of Jesus Christ, that is what makes it a miracle and Jesus a unique son, he isn't the only son of God, that title is used for others in the Bible, eg. Angels and men. The title son of man means he is 100% human, when you read that in the OT doesn't mean it is Jesus Christ, it could be any human, notice how it says one like the son of man. You will find "the word" comes to many prophets in the OT its the wisdom and prophecies from God, and that wisdom and prophecies about Jesus manifest in flesh when Jesus was created, that's why John says the word became flesh., the prophecies were fulfilled. It doesn't mean Jesus was visiting all these people when the word came to them, its impossible when we clearly read his *genesis* was at his birth in the very first chapter and book of the NT. John didn't write the things in the Torah again, consider this, Matthew is made up of 5 books, just like the Torah. Also in the OT the old creation has a beginning, a spirit moving over the water, the word, light shines in the darkness. John writes about the new creation which similarly has a beginning, a baptizing in water, the word and light shining in the darkness. Did you even compare the books from John and the verses on the word "arche" I gave you, if not look - John 1;1, John 15;27, 1John 1;1-2, 2John 1;5-6, 2;24, 3;11 all from the same author which helps you understand what he meant. You will notice they are speaking like they are there in this beginning, the people in the NT were not even alive when the world was created in the Genesis account of the Torah so how do you explain them claiming to have been witness to this beginning? John 1;6 destroys your arguement about it being the Genesis account from the Torah, John the baptist was not there, the verses after even go back to speaking about this light.....
This is the one of the verse i respect Jesus more than heavenly father.I care a damn what JESUS thinks when i say it.Because it is said in the scripture father judges no one unlike Jesus.Jesus has to do all the dirty work for the father this is why i respect him the most among the three. There were people who accused Jesus before and they will accuse jesus when he judges them on judgement day Jesus will be so harsh whereas heavenly father doesnt do all this stuff. And for Jesus and holy spirit, heavenly father is their God.just like a hindu says my god is my father and mother same respect Jesus has for the father whom he worships as God in spite of being god himself.
Brother your interpretation is contradictory to what Jesus said. Lord simply means someone of higher statue or authority. That’s why there’s terms like landLord.
Talk about a drowning man clutching at straws. To answer a simple question, we are taken on a tour of non relevant scriptures. If Jesus was God he certainly wasn't aware of it. Come to think of it, no one did until the apostate church decided to make Jesus God.
Everything that Jesus said and did are only things that God could say and do. Jesus said that you will die in your sins if you don’t believe that I am who I am you will die in your sins John 8:24. When you have seen me then you have seen God John 14:9. Jesus is the Word of God and the Spirit from God Sura 4:171. Call on Jesus right now and have Paradise and eternal life with Jesus forevermore. Choose life choose Jesus
@@seanrathmakedisciples1508 : With respect. What are the things Jesus did that can be ascribed ONLY to God? Why would Jesus promise his disciples this? John 14:12 Most truly I say to you, whoever exercises faith in me will also do the works that I do; and he will DO WORKS GREATER THAN THESE, because I am going my way to the Father. How can humans do works greater than 'God' can? God is IMMORTAL. Meaning he CANNOT DIE. If God can change himself into a mortal who can die, the term IMMORTAL NO LONGER applies to God. Just a thought.
right off the bat the son of god in Mark is not in th earliest manuscripts, so try again. in Acts 11:23-25 Barnabas was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit, Luke 23:50 a man named Joseph, who was a councillor, a good and righteous man. Matthew 12:34-36 The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things. so there good men in the new testament so either the gospes are wring or Jesus is wrong.
Whichever way you interpret; they are not the Holy Son of God came as a ransom for many. Jesus alone is called the Good Shepherd, just as God is called the Shepherd of Israel.
So you can see, God is not the only one that is "good" in both the old and the new testament. So why then did jesus say "why do you call me good, only God is good"? For me it is obvious. When jesus said "only God is good", jesus was going by what that man believed. That man believed that only God is good, so jesus effectively answered a fool according to the fools folly. So as that man believed only God is good, why is he then calling jesus good? A similar thing happens when the canaanite woman came to him for help. He said to her that he had been sent only to the children of Israel. He said that because that is what she believed about the messiah and therefore was of no use to her. But in desperation she still went to him for help. Earlier in matthew a Roman centurion comes to jesus for help and jesus jumps up as says "let's go". There was no mention of him being sent only to the children of Israel. Also in Matthew jesus heals some lepers and only one came back to thank him. That man was "a foreigner". So once again, jesus is healing foreigners without any mention of him being sent only to the children of Israel. So why then did jesus say what he said to the canaanite women and not the other foreigners? It is because the canaanite woman, like the man the came and said "good teacher", had their own beliefs about who is God and what the role of the messiah. They were both wrong in their beliefs. So jesus responded to them according to what they believed and not what jesus himself believed. As you point out, that God was not the only person that was good.

@mysotiras3 What do you mean where does Paul say this? It's right there in the verse. He is basically saying God's plan regarding Christ, and salvation for all humanity was a mystery for all ages. If it was revealed, then Jesus may not have been crucified. I would love to see Christians dialog with Jews rather than Muslims.
They(The Christians) replied, “We’re stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world.
@mysotiras3 What do you mean with copy and pasting this is from the Bible, Jesus denied his so called divinity in this verse, the pharisees resemble the Christians of today who accuse him of blasphemy and wanted him dead on the cross.
@@seekthetruthandthetruthwil2388 That is ridiculous, God in the OT prefers mercy and forgiveness over sacrifice, and even the sacrifices of the lambs where only required for unintenional sins, dying and rising Gods creeped in to the Christian religion and where influenced by pre-dating pagan saviour-cults, so if you say God did not die, but only the human nature, that means a human died for your sins, and that is a sin and detestable acc to the God of the OT. Jesus appointed himself, God didn't appoint him. God also did not protect him. Neither did God protect his disciples. In Isaiah it states, if God be for you who can be against you? God was not for Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was for Jesus Christ. There is no clear and convincing evidence that God even knew Jesus. And we attribute goodness to God and out Jesus own mouth said, why call me good? The 1st commandment is to have no other gods before him. Jesus told the rich young ruler to obey the commandments which was to reject Jesus as God but Jesus condemns anyone that doesn't believe in him. Jesus was not good, he didn't care how sloppy in judgment he was. He told the rich young ruler to give all to the needy when he himself just said, why call me good? Then he goes on to tell the disciples that it was easier for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Hey there SON OF GOD, don't you think you should be an example first in goodness before making a statement like that? Goodness didn't apply to Jesus. In all his cloaks he didn't earn it and yet he issuing directives. It's right there for all to read, he was a hypocrit and he uses poor judgment. You cannot be one with GOD unless you are good. Also, the fact that mark made references to previous verses or that he himself labels jesus a certain way, isnt substantial proof of jesus divinity.

Again wonderful. Without lies Islam dies. A Sheikh admits that it continues to exist only because of the laws of apostasy. Such a dark ideology that gives people no freedom of belief. Another example of deception and constant stupid twisting of God's holy Scriptures, the Bible to try to defend Isl am ... In Mark 10:18, the Lord Jesus strongly affirms His own Deity, that He is God. If the Lord Jesus is absolutely good and God is absolutely good, then Jesus must be God, nothing less. Jesus is simply asking the young man a straightforward question: "Why do you call Me good?" ... i.e. Do you really know who I am ... that I am God? But they twist it to say that Jesus is saying that He is not good and hence not God. Such stupidity. Such blindness desperation because in saying that Jesus is not good, they are abrogating and disbelieving their own Quran ... Q 19:19 says: "He said, 'I am only a messenger of your Lord: that I may give you a PURE boy." Pure here can also be translated as HOLY, or FAULTLESS, or RIGHTEOUS ... Jesus is good and hence He is God according to Mark 10:18 since only God is good. And if Jesus is not good as claimed, then the Quran and Muhammad is false and telling lies, lies, lies. Furthermore, the entire gospel of Mark also affirms that the Lord Jesus, while being a man on earth is also at the same time the very God Himself as Anthony has shown. Do not believe the deception of I S L A M. Come to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Can you explain it to Me as I FIND this HILARIOUS!🤣🤣🤣
All these points have scriptural backing-
Matthew 1:18-25
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, *before* *they* *came* *together* , she was found with *child* *of* *the* *Holy* *Spirit* .
And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name *Jesus* , for He will *save* *His* *people* *from* *their* *sins* .”
So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying:
“Behold, the *virgin* *shall* *be* *with* *child* , and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife,
and *did* *not* *know* *her* *till* *she* *had* *brought* *forth* *her* *firstborn* *Son* . And he called His name Jesus.
John 1:1,14
In the *beginning* *was* *the* *Word* , and the *Word* *was* *with* *God* , and the *Word* *was* *God* .
And it's very clear-
Matthew 1:24-25- Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife,
and *did* *not* *know* *her* *till* *she* *had* *brought* *forth* *her* *firstborn* *Son* . And he called His name Jesus.
The genealogy of Jesus is written in both Matthew and Luke because we have to remember that the coming of the Messiah was prophecied to different people like Abraham, David, etc. God had promised that the Messiah would come through their family line-
E.g-
Genesis 12:3 - I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you (Abraham); And in you *all* *the* *families* *of* *the* *earth* *shall* *be* *blessed* .”
Isaiah 9:6-7 - For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder.
(John 1:1)
Jesus was God incarnate or God in the flesh. And yes, Jesus had humanity in His person too.
Now, Son of man is a statement used with respect to Job, Ezekiel, etc, but there is a big difference-
Matthew 12:40 - For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
“Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”
Mark 2:10 - But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”-He said to the paralytic,
John 5:27 - and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.
Jesus called Himself The Son of Man, to fulfill a Messianic prophecy-
“I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven!
(Daniel 7:13-14)
Jesus who says He has this much authority (He even says He is greater than a mere prophet, 'for indeed a greater than Jonah is here') is referring to this Son of Man as prophecied in Daniel.
@@powerofwun John 1:1 also clearly proves that John was talking about the very beginning-
John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John is clearly giving a little history about the 'Word that was made flesh.'
This aligns perfectly with the creation account-
Genesis 1:1-2, 26
In the beginning *God* created the heavens and the earth.
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the *Spirit* *of* *God* was hovering over the face of the waters.
Then God said, “Let *Us* make man in *Our* image, according to *Our* likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Also, why would John write about the things in the Torah again? He was writing the gospel, and it wasn't necessary for Him to write the story of Adam and Eve- that's just not the purpose. The purpose was to write what Jesus said and did, and how He proved to be God.
Even if we consent and agree that it was a new beginning, the fact is that the 'Word was God', I.e, Jesus was God.
Sorry that I am writing so much, but the Truth must be told, and I hope you understand that I am writing all this for the sole purpose that your soul may be saved from the destruction to come, and that you open your eyes to the Truth, and come to the saving grace of Christ.
Luke 1:3 - it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write to you an orderly account, most excellent Theophilus,
Mark 1:1 - The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
1 John 1:1-3
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life-
Again if read in context, the earthly ministry of Christ- when He was God in the flesh, so that the apostles could feel and see.
2 John 1:5- And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another.
Context makes it clear that it talks about the love that was there at the beginning of the Church of Jesus Christ- the commandment that Jesus gave to them, which they had from the very beginning, I.e after Jesus' ascension and the start of the early church (Acts 2:40-47)
John is writing much later, looking back at the time, and saying that to Christians it's not a new command that we must love one another, but it was with us at the very beginning, whe Jesus gave us that command.
And for Jesus and holy spirit, heavenly father is their God.just like a hindu says my god is my father and mother same respect Jesus has for the father whom he worships as God in spite of being god himself.

right off the bat the son of god in Mark is not in th earliest manuscripts, so try again. in Acts 11:23-25 Barnabas was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit, Luke 23:50 a man named Joseph, who was a councillor, a good and righteous man.
