great video.. You impart much confidence. As of a few years ago, I have totally given up on using silicone glues / caulks etc and am now using "Lexel" products. They come in clear, black & white; they CAN be capped and within reason, do not dry out in the tube (the tip screws onto the tube and can be removed to pull out any thickened material if it was not tightly capped.. NOTE; the supplied tip IS already pre-punched!)... If not careful, it can be a bit messy.(NO where as messy as Butyl rubber tho..). solvent, not water clean-up. Stays rubbery forever and does not mildew like silicone. And it flows well in larger amounts. Thanks again for your work.. I bookmark EVERY one!

I guess disassembling become more difficult as gadgets and do-dad are added to the lowly sun visor as time passes. It’s part of the technician half that helps you decide how to take apart something that was not designed to be opened. Now, power, ground, connectors, lights and sometimes sensors are added. Marketing just won’t stop adding things. At a dealer, a salesman brought a lady who had informed questions that is answer about 4X4 the mechanical. I forgot about it. 5 weeks later, she walk over to thank me for answering her questions so she could understand. Then done, I asked “What did you buy?” She answered with another brand! Ah? Thanks kindly for sharing.
FYI, this is not generally how you do these visors. You don't want to break them in half. We have always used tools similar to what he used to break it, and instead tuck it. This way its not glued back together, its factory and doesn't have an uneven gap because it's been broken and then glued back together. Just an FYI, as there is more than one way to do things.
