Kinda ridiculous that the rule books don't include rules/directions for the wellspring water. #saveHeroscape I'm still happy to see the new scape in action!
Did Renegade address the problem with how the Jungle trees and foliage fit atop other hexes? It's hard to tell from the video as many are interlocked with adjoining hexes. I'd greatly appreciate any insights you can share.

@@aaronmarshall5694 I emailed them about it a week ago and they replied saying they're aware of the problem and are testing multiple samples from different production lines to try to reproduce the issue. They said they'd make a statement when more info was available.
wellspring water also gives a debuff of 2 wounds if you roll 2 or lower. but it seems fait to play without the double wounds for a first time player and with such little armies. looks super fun cant wait to play myself
One of the reasons I HATED the figure chosen for the VC unit Quahon was because it was waaay too unweildly to fit anywhere on most battlefields.... then along came the Xenithrax, an OFFICIAL Heroscape unit!.... 😅 Great playthrough - lovin' it! The return of Heroscape has become a reality!

The original Haslab campaign included tiny wound markers for 2 life squads, but I don't see them being used here nor do I see them in the contents list for the Master Set. Do they no longer exist?

It's because each figure in the squad has one life only. One hit and a figure dies. Cant heal if your figure gets taken off the battlefield
That is not correct. The Frostclaw Paladins have 2 life each. 2 life squads make their debut in AoA and this is why the heal ruling is surprising.
