- Before I present this awesome video, I wanna thank EVERYONE SO MUCH FOR 4K Subscribers!!! It means the world to me that I have people who watch and care for me and my content and like it, and people who love it. So, I decided to do something very special like this! The more videos we make, the more we grow!!! I never thought this channel would ever make it this far when I started it in 2016.
Anyways, These we’re filmed at a house for sale in LA. Ratings of the toilets:

SAD UPDATE!
This house was completely remodeled, and these toilets are now up for sale for 3,000$ or more at a salvage place in Pasadena.
I knew that was gonna happen!! 😡 These people ofc are gonna remodel it!! I hope no one throws these beauties away. People just love new and remodeled modern items. I personally do BUT NOT with restrooms. Someone probably sold that on purpose. I swear to god, I hope they end up being cheaper soon.
It is probably all white, gray, and black and very uninspired and bland.
I knew it! Not even a quarter of the way through, went to comments just to read what I feared was going to happen…..Destroying perfect beautiful cast iron classic, in working order, absolutely stunning bathrooms, I would die for………. for cheap plastic that will need to be replaced in five years. Stupid is as stupid does……. 💔 I can’t watch the rest. I was so hoping you’d appreciate the gift you were handed, but no….. you destroyed it…. Like cutting off Barbies hair and taking a perma marker to the pretty doll. Lawlessness

Probably remodeled to some bland beige or gloomy gray, so sad when folks remodel away the character & charm
My most favorite is the black forward trap toilet.
Wow. Amazing. I don't know what to say. Whoever built this house in 1936 was certainly living the high life, even by today's standards for some many families a paycheck or two away from eviction or foreclosure. Considering that in the 30s for most families times were very tough, money was hard to come by and they were forced into frugality and taking care of things. Electricity and indoor plumbing was still considered a luxury reserved for those fortunate to live in cities and suburbs.

Legendary fixtures! The Devons are so cool! The forward trap toilet is super rare. The San Raphael is nice but it replaced something better. I never knew toilets were made in black back then.

Those reverse trappers were commercial terlits that required a 10 gallon tank to function in lieu of a flushometer. Extremely rare residential setup in 1936 and it required money.
