Haha, so audacious of you Luke to explain such complicated grammar in such a great level of details!! Absolutely excellent job you have done!! I did lap it up, especially, the grammar explanation part👍👍👍
Thanks Luke 😊
I'm proud that we have person living with us on the earth giving helping hand to otheres like you thanks alot Luke🎉
I love it when you do rambling episodes.😊
So do I
After overthinking my comment on episode 897 and reading Ally’s response, I feel the need to share an additional thought. In my “professional enthusiasm”, I failed to fully appreciate the author's engagement and Luke’s thoughtful and nuanced introduction to this sensitive topic.
What I wanted to say is this: If you are dealing with a stammer, don’t give up on your dreams. Don’t stop looking for a qualified therapist! You can also find a partner and friends who appreciate you, as well as a job that matches your talents. Depending on which country you live in, it may be more difficult to find the right support, but it is possible. You could even become a famous actor, or a pioneer of speech therapy like Van Riper. Maybe not a king like George VI-but who would want that, anyway?
Thank you luke learning English with you is so cool💙
Wow, I had to stop the video multiple times to finish it. But listening to you has always been fun, Luke. Keep the episodes coming!
We were waiting for the new episode. Thanks Luke!
Thank you Luke.
Very grateful that you have started working on grammar as well 🙏🌺
Also in Canada I learned to say “shejual” instead of schedule 😊

Thank you,Luke! It's real pleasure indeed to listen to you ,enjoy your humour and learn the language.Let's make English happen. You are lucky to have rain,we had a very dry summer
"It's always so much fun to listen to you, Luke. I'm your student."
I love your podcasts❤😊
🩻 Thank you so much. You are perfect!
Hi, Luke! You look relaxed ( and fairly tanned) after your holidays. 🎉 Answering your questions: I have slaved away for years correcting writing with a correction code and recorrecting it once or twice, and also filling up report cards, answering about 35 questions about each student, plus writing a comment that shouldn't repeat any of the previous answers, also including the marks on oral English, grammar, writing, listening and reading. I have passed out twice: at the age of 17, after travelling about 700 km to enroll at university and having a blood test, and when I was operated on, after receiving anesthesia at 35. About your phone: in Argentina, a teen went to bed near his phone while he was charging it and it caught fire and burnt the boy's legs. Your case is different because your phone wasn't plugged in. Of course, I would be as annoyed as you are about the swollen battery 😮 I love your rambling episodes. Thanks a lot for your kindness ❤
👍

@@LukesEnglishPodcastThank you, Luke!
Hi Luke, you already know that but let me tell you again that you're brilliant and you're my role model as a teacher.

Gosh, I don't even know where to start a) it’s really nice that you didn't leave us without episodes all summer, thank you, b) I’ve made a wonderful playlist of your covers (originals, of course), c) I dread to think how loudly I would have laughed if I had heard your dreamed stand-up in my dream)
Any chance you can share the playlist?
I'm sorry, it seems that YT does not allow my link. Anyway, I didn't add the MC Hammer’s track, so it's not complete)

Some songs are doubled and one is probably not from the repertoire. Feel free to correct me if you don't find it as a waste of time 😉
Thank you, I have been enjoying each and every podcast for three months and am eager to listen every week
Looking forward to your introduction of Shakespeare in your podcast, as you mentioned in this last episode, which I REALLY LOVED ❤
It would be great if you could start with Hamlet and tell us which is your personal interpretation of the famous lines "To be or not to be. That is the question " which BTW I find almost impossible to translate in other languages, including mine. Who knows what Shakespeare really had in mind when he wrote that. Do you? Thank you in advance for making English happen and unfold in front of us avid learners so effortlessly 🙏 👋
I like your accent, your nice voice. I can easy to understand, thank you very much ❤❤
Delighted always Each time u post/ upload your podcasts
Thank u Mr Luke for teaching us passionately
Best wishes to you and your family

morning from Bohemia Paradise....Thanks Luke for your doing. I often consume your stories in the morning with coffee and ukulele in my hands. Your podcast room is very inspirative to have spent time more effective
I've felt down and been rolling around under the table! 😅 adore your rambling episodes!
Thank you, I like this interaction active conversation on this podcast !
Welcome back Luke
I dread to think what could have happened if I never had found your podcast, never had become a LEPster, never had fallen into ‘grammar holes’, never had heard of Madness, never had listened to the lying game, never had heard of the forbidden word r***** from Mark Steel…could you dive into a new grammar hole with continuous forms? And sorry, that my comment on the episode 897 turned out a bit missionary…
Hi Luke,
My objective is fulfilled as I went through your video without turning into a skeleton 😅 !
More seriously, I really love your videos, and your playful way to teach English. I haven't practiced my English for many years now, and I improve it by watching and listening to your videos. Moreover, you often make me laugh, which makes these moments both pleasant and instructive.
Thanks very much for all this, and take good care.
Hi Luke, I would love to see a short video of your new band practice session.🥁🎶
More materials in I'm so happy I understand
I love your hoover sound!!!😂😂
🎉 consider plane pizza ( dough, tomato and mozzarella cheese - and someone correcly consider a plane pizza only dough and yeast) the drawing board on witch every new entry is welcomed. It' s just a matter of taste. In Italy too you can find pizzas with fruit icing.
Purity goes against evolution. It' s global time, mates
Just ‘great’! 😊
Thanks Looks sir❤
This is fantastic lesson for english garmmar ever!!! I love it♡♡♡
I really enjoy the new edits that you added to this episode. Keep it up, best teacher!
You’re the best 🩷🩷🩷🙏🙏🙏
I´m lapping your episode up! Cheers from Argentina.
I’ve felt I’m fed up with grammar. But apparently I’m lapping it up in a form of your words as it is glamour. I enjoy particularly that chunk of the song warning about the grammar is going to happen. Thanks a lot!
Luke, you are the best!
Hi ‘Luke thanks
Great comeback!!!
Thanks for such helpfully lesson) 😀
Hi teacher luke from Afghanistan
Thanks teacher Luke,
خیلی زیبا -very Beautiful
27:34 i'm hoovering up this episode while hoovering my flat😁
You are so humourous Luke.
What do you think of making a video in which Luke is going speak in an American accent 😅? Maybe you did it by yourself, but i would really appreciate it man
Thanks🎉
I heard that in England the water has something special, I envy that you experience the English rain, like the premier league, and the good rock stars.🎉 😅
Don't forget the food.
Yesterday I found a toothbrush in the drawer I normally use for paint brushes and acrylic paint tubes. I asked it: "What are you doing there? You should be in the bathroom!" It replied: "Not my fault! I'm not the messy owner of this s...thole!" I thought: ok, that's a very rude toothbrush, but at least its English is improving, thanks to Luke! Ta, Luke!
If your phone had burned your little plants would have died.
Thanku luke. Love from India
So what kind of clause is "I love Christmas"? A Santa Clause!
I wish I could give only one thumb up:) YT should consider enriching their app features with a multiple thumb up. The update should also allowe Luke to track when the the thumbs are given. By that he could find out which of his jokes are the funniest. Following this idea YT could give chance to replace thumbs by a sound of applause and from Luke side he could llisten to his podcasts and get an impression of being with the real audience😊
I kinda think your podcast is sit-down comedy, luke
Sit-down comedy. Very good. I like that a lot. 👍
@@LukesEnglishPodcast you're welcome,appreciate that you like it.🥳
Hi, Luke. Are the premium episodes in audio format only? I subscribed to premium episodes. What is the best order to listen to premium episodes? Google podcasts does not work. What app do you recommend?
No, there are video versions as well. You get the links in the show notes for the audio episodes.
@@LukesEnglishPodcast I subscribed to premium episodes. What is the best order to listen to premium episodes? Google podcasts does not work. What app do you recommend? I want to listen on both my computer and my phone.
@@osmanbekirov The best way to listen on a computer and a phone is to use an Apple account. You can create one even if you don’t have an Apple product. Then use your Apple ID to sign into Apple Podcasts on your phone (get the app free) and iTunes on your computer (also free for Mac or PC).
Listen to premium eps in any order (but always part 1 of each series first etc). Find P01 by going back in the list - it’s just before 776 of LEP. You’ll also find a “welcome to premium” episode there.
@@LukesEnglishPodcasthii luke ==mar mar mar =in Hindi mean when someone done something wrong he would get a mar (hit, slap, blow)
I dread to think what could have happened if I had not found your precious podcast on my way.
Would have I been scrolling the smartphone all life long?
Would have I abandoned all my hopes of brushing up on my clumsy english?
Thank goodness you are here.
Your fascinating lepland gives moments of knowledge in this new part of my life as a retired😢person.
Take care and carry on .

Correction: “Would I have… ?”
@@LukesEnglishPodcast thanks a lot for your kind correction.
It shows how clumsy my english is
@@GianlucaMariaLecchi No, it’s fine! The rest of your comment was full of good phrases, used correctly.
@@LukesEnglishPodcast very kind of you. Unfortunately I did not have the chance of using english frequently in my job career and I am still stuck to my high school days ( and all by myself through summers working in London as a kitchen porter, in the seventies english was not yet the leading language and I had my A level in French!)
Thank you so much Luck. Your response to my comment got me excited.😍❤
Time flies and your little boy is about to learn to walk
He already had. He’s toddling about all over the place these days.
If your phone had exploded, this episode could have been recorded at home instead of in the pod-castle.
Support Luk podcast 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤😊😊😊
Your grammatical explanations are wonderful, thanks Luke.By the way I want to tell you a shameful thing, someone stole your podcasts posting it on another domestic media platform in my country.😅
Hi Luke 👋
Referring to your last question - are skeletons subjects or objects 😅?
I survived till the end again despite your efforts 😂
Good job as always 👍
Keep going 💪
British ones are subjects. Royal subjects.
😂😂😂@@LukesEnglishPodcast
@oksanaros3346 Bravo! 😂😂😂
This is why I like LEPland so much.
I'm wondering: if I had mentioned UFO, would it be counted as an object or just a weird product of my imagination?
(it's not even a half as good as your skeletons, but I'm doing my best)
Cheers 😉
@@mratre7335 UFOs would be a good subject for a podcast episode that’s for sure 😉
@@LukesEnglishPodcastIt's hard to believe that you haven't done this before! (I still have a long list of episodes which I haven't seen yet)
I love this long rambling episodes! Along with stories are the best! Thank you Luke!
Hi Luke, thanks for all the helpful videos. I'm really curious if you could do a short video of yourself speaking English but with French accent.
Hi Luke! Could you explain please why you not use an articles "a" or " the" in the sentence - I like pizza?(1.08.49) May you add some examples into your next podcast to show when not necessary put an articles before the nouns?
I explained that in the episode. It’s because I’m using pizza as an uncountable noun.
I dread to think what could have happened if he had missed the train while I was waiting for him.
do walk and talk episodes pls, i like them.
