Rick Shlosser, I saw who plaid at my friend's Blues Club called Randell's. Randell named the restaurant Randell's who was the guitarist in the band Randell And The Acuals. Rick played with everyone from Lee Rittenour to George Benson To Tom Johnston Patrick Simmons to Maria Muldaur Nicolette Larson Steve Cropper Etta James Dolly Parton Rory Block Van Morrison Rod Stewart John Cougar Mellencamp Janis Ian The Manhattans Leo Sayer Andy Gibb Shaun Cassidy Lionel Richie James Taylor Patti Austin Davis Grisom Bob Claub Linda Ronstadt Steve Lukather Kenny Rogers Little Feat Juice Newton The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band What is Hip Andy Pratt Cher Captain & Tennille Scott Ellison Jan Berry Marty Joe Kupersmith Boz Scaggs Marty Joe Kupersmith Brewer & Shipley Dion Warwick Joe Esposito Stephen Bishop Bill Medley Barry Manilow Stanley Clarke Jack Mack / Jack Mack & The Heart Attack Maynard Ferguson Diana Ross Billy Preston Tanya Tucker Art Garfunkel Ronnie Montrose The Bellamy Brothers Leif Garrett Ronnie Hawkins Bob Crewe Link Wray Pamela Polland Eric Andersen to name a bunch of bands. There are too many to name. Ricck played on so many great recordings. You may not know his name or know who he is but you have heard him on the radio. If you have not heard Rick's friend Randell Young on guitar look him up. Rick Shlosser and Randell Young did a CD in tribute to Bob Dylan that is pretty good. This is a great interview Thank You! for sharing.
Hi Dana! Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed. It's true, if you listened to any radio station in the US throughout the 70s, you have heard Rick somewhere on there. Amazing!
@Noisy Records that is true even if you don't know who he is you have heard him. Here is an album I have with Rick Shlosser playing the drums. Tom Johnston - Everything You've Heard Is True (1979) [Complete Album] A lot of great musicians and Memphis Horns and Tower of Power Nicolette Larson and others... This is one to have in your collection. Also, he played with Jack Mack And The Heart Attack. Cardiac Party. I have that album too. You don't hear about that band anymore they were great musicians. I love the stuff he did with Tom Johnston sounds really good. th-cam.com/video/hUPyj7jLc2Q/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/fcYn-h1SKcU/w-d-xo.html
