Thanks for a really great video. It's inspired me to open the box and start to play. It'll be solo, but I can swing it. Nothing like being a double agent. :) I've had the game for years ( many ), but all my gaming buddies long ago gave up board tactical war games ( mostly Avalon Hill ) for fantasy tabletop rpgs when they started coming out and then computer games. I'm solo, but still love tabletop board war gaming. Mostly just watching videos, reading rules books and articles and so on. Again, thanks for a really inspiring video. Simple, clean and direct.

Thanks for the easy to understand and qui ck 10 min tutorial of A&A. 4 of us here with the actual board game. We watched 3 other videos on how 2 play that was far too long and confusing. Very much appreciated...if i could give it 10 thumbs up i would!!!
Thanks for the concise overview, I have been looking forward to seeing this as I have been going through your previous videos. My question is, if there is a way to demonstrate the decision making process for some of the strategic choices you have discussed previously. It probably isn't necessary to repeat dice rolls, but maybe some kind of numerical representation of the choice to do battle and how various outcomes may result in a change of strategy. I also appreciate your Risk comparisons as they are helpful in my discussions with reluctant members of our group.
Hi Thomas and thanks for the comment! I think that's a great idea for a video, but it's going to take a little thought and planning on my part to determine the best way to convey a good decision-making process. I haven't had the time needed to adequately do that yet, but this idea is in the docket!

What is the average time it takes to play through 1942 second edition with experienced players? Or how about a 1v1 with experienced players? Thanks.
It varies, but generally I would plan on 4-6 hours. Closer to 4 hours with 2 players, closer to 6 with 5 players.
