It's true. My parents used to sing pasurangal, nalayirathivyaprabandam etc. And when we were kids we used to sing thirupavai in the perumal Tempe bajans. But in the same village all kids studying English medium . They don't know thirupavai . They don't know neither English nor good thamizh. That's what today's state.
