Rt Honourable V S Srinivasa Sastrigal had given a series of Lectures on Ramayana in English way back in late 1940s in Gokale Hall Chennai. I had read the lectures, which are fantastic. In fact, the lectures on Ayodhya Kandam was superb. He has also given answers to many of so called
" Controversies" suitably silencing the criticisms.
Perhaps one argument can be it appeals to Elders and for youngsters the book of Mr DS may be ir should be useful.
My sincere appreciation to DS for his efforts.

Was there a SINGLE word against other faiths ? No. Ramayanam belongs to all Indians. It is a shame that TN politicians are projecting Ram as a north Indian God. Dushyant's segment about how TN leads others states in Rama bhakti is brilliant.

பார்த்து பார்த்து ஓலைச்சுவடிகள் எழுதுவது, அந்த காலத்தில் ஜெராக்ஸ் இயந்திரம் இல்லை. பார்த்து பார்த்து ஓலைச்சுவடி பிரதி எடுப்பது, கல்வி, போன்ற வேலைகளில் ஈடுபடுகின்ற மக்கள் பார்ப்பான் என்று designation உடன் வேலை செய்ததாக தமிழ் பேசும் மக்கள் சொல்கிறார்கள். அந்தணர் என்ற designation யும் இருப்பதாக சொல்கிறார்கள். வட நாட்டு மக்கள் சிலர் பிராமணர் என்ற பட்டதோடு தமிழ் சமூகத்திடம் அறிமுகம் செய்து வாழ்ந்து வந்திருக்கலாம். brahmanu என்ற வார்த்தை நாட்டின் வட பகுதியில் பயன்பாட்டில் இன்றும் உள்ளது என சொல்கிறார்கள்.
