    Drop the clutch, check
    Weight the pegs, check
    Very little wheel spin, check
    Putting it all together, I'll get there eventually

    I used to practice dropping my clutch but had to stop. I kept breaking the fingers off the outer basket when it hit the ground. 😁

      I have had much better success with dropping the clutch since I got a heavy duty rubber mat in the garage, Dave. Doesn't get damaged at all now.

    ah yes this is a good one to learn, should make it much easier getting it into the trailer with no ramp lol. ive had to use that lifting the bike with your knee/thigh trick in the past. i actually learned lifting heavy shit with leverage from your thigh shoveling mud. in the real world upper body strength is useless if you know how to use your legs

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Shoveling mud would be a great workout for sure, Eli!

    This may be a dumb question but when you say “drop the clutch” should I still have a finger on the lever as it’s snapping forward or should I actually just let go of it. I ask because I have been keeping a finger on it so far and I’m not sure if my “drop” is quick enough. Thanks for the vids by the way! They have been super helpful as I’ve been getting into enduro riding over the last few months.

      Always cover the clutch

    • @szcherod207
      @szcherod207 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Imo You should deff keep your finger (or two) on the clutch just incase.
      Like when I drop the clutch for wheelies I still keep 2 fingers on that way not only will the rear brake bring me down if I get too high but pull the clutch in will also bring the front tire back down.
      Light rear brake and feather the clutch

    • @Matt-oq1dg
      @Matt-oq1dg 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That’s what I figured, I guess I just need more practice to figure out the timing and where my engagement point is

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It should always be a controlled release Matt.... e.g. never just let it snap out. And we always have one finger on the lever at all times.
