I used to spend soo much time trying to seat bounce my way out of being stuck. Your mantra of keeping at least one foot on a peg and driving my hips from way back to front is stuck in my head forever. It's probably the one thing I try to teach others the most. Keeps people from digging holes, spinning tires and ruining trails. I can't thank you enough for that! Every rider should be taught this from the beginning. Keep up the great work, Rich!!!
This channel is GOLD, I recently discovered it and I can´t stop watching especially techniques ones. The way you explain these techniques is just amazing. Keep up the hard work!
Rich, I have a shortcut on my desktop to your channel and your videos, to swiftly and effortlessly be able to roll any of your awesome lessons. This is important science, and I love the way you communicate it. You're an inspiration to many.
As always, great video. I appreciate that at the end you say "hard enduro AND TRAIL skills" a lot of us will never be riding up a waterfall or bouncing off a 4' boulder, but these drills will absolutely help us all be able to ride and enjoy more difficult trails that feel like hard enduro to us!
Thank you Rich! If you aren't already, you ought to start a off road riding school. There are 1000s of riders who could become so much better learning from you in person. Ever since your channel has been on, all my off road tires and tubes have been IRC brand!
I really appreciate these videos, and especially the part when you show how not to do it, because then you can see and understand the difference so much easier, Great video Rich.
I really like you videos, but this was by far one of the most interesting ones in my opinion. I love these videos about techniques, and I like the "why" explanation that comes with them. Keep it up!
Awesome!! I’ve been focusing on balance/clutch/and body posture. It’s crazy the difference it’s making in my riding! I can’t wait to get to all these more advanced techniques. 💪💪
This is gonna help me for sure, I appreciate the video. I ride north of Reno, we have a lot of good technical stuff tucked up in the hills. I’ll be practicing these techniques in my yard this week!
So good. Just wish I had more time to practice everything you put out. But it’s most definitely motivating for me to get out on the bike. Thank you for all the work it takes to put this out.
Once again Rich Awesome content! You do a fantastic job of breaking down the technique as well as the explanation of where and how to implement it. Your videos continue to help me improve my skill . Keep up the great videos 👍
Hi Rich, this video is simply well explained and I can't stop repeating this to my guys at the bike school. "Damn weigh your pegs !!! How can you grip if you don't put your weight on the pegs ? " Hope you feel better after Covid man. You look good !
Your videos are rubbing off! I was riding HMT trails yesterday in mix of snow, ice and mud, with DOT tires on my WR450F (since I just had it inspected to make it streel legal), and using your traction techniques and some others like static balance really made a difference in the mix of ice, snow, snotty mud and steep hills at IV Branch. Thanks for all your efforts!
What's that awesome looking tire on your right side there, Rich? I want it on my bike. Oh, I see I've already commented here a year ago. Well, your videos keep me coming back, your the 'go to guy' when it comes to enduro and I'd say regarding motorcycles in general. You, your words, your advice, is always with me on the road, on the track, in the bush, in the dirt .. well it's 'rich-time' every time ;) Now we have a really rainy week here in Sweden so I watch a lot of youtube, and your channel just brings sunshine to my world. Thanks Rich, and keep it up.
I admit that I am what is known as a Gumby rider and I do not ride hard enduro, because riding a 690 just is not conducive to hard enduro. That being said I love your videos on technique and am learning a lot from them that will enable me to ride the single track that I do manage to run my bike through. Your delivery of great practice drills and explanation of how they lead toward specific goals is not common amongst TH-cam instructional videos. Thank you for the great content and for helping me be a better rider.
Your video is really damn good practical in riding skills…; although I am still far behind learning it well…, but your instructions always gave me the ever best guide & inspirations!
Im just regular rider with japanese old enduro bike....but....it's work....i try all of your tips bro.....can spend my energy now.....thank.....very helpful.....
@@IRCTireUSAMoto By the way you lapped me at grind stone. As you passed the group of us stuck at the obstacle cheered you on and I heard you yell “My FRIENdS!”. Haha glad to see you enjoy what you do on and off race scene.
You're rockin it with this channel! Best enduro channel I've found by far. I've got a suggestion for your channel; Noob Progression Path. Master this basic skill ___ Now master this one. ___ Combine those skills to do this drill. ____ I've been building my playlist library and am coming up with my own but I'm sure you know a more logical path from one skill/drill to the next one
I frickin love these vids, Thanks!! My Sherco does not have a particularly good clutch feel liek past bikes like husqy has, any tips to get it less like a switch?
Great video! I was hoping you could do a video on when to hit your front tire on a rock and use a double blip vs when you should just smack it with the back and save a couple of seconds by not slowing down and setting up for the double blip. That's something I find myself questioning a lot in my riding and I'll even find myself over using the double blip when I could've just popped a wheelie and smack it with the rear.
Just a suggestion in my opinion. It might be better if you freeze frames in between slow-mo for couple of seconds while explaining then revert back to slow-mo.
Thank you so much 🙏 I’ve been working on the essential enduro skills you posted for the last month. I’ve dropped the bike easily 200 times but I can static balance for 5 seconds on a good day! My neighbors probably think I’m insane. Thanks for everything Mr. L

From Philippines,
Great slow uphill wheelie, but what gearing are you using, 12/13 --50/52?

NO
@@IRCTireUSAMoto thank you so much
What rear sag do you run? Seems like one time I heard you say you run more than 105-110?
120mm
I was hoping you were coming to Iowa. Don't see your name on the Pro list.

I’ve been practice this technique for the last couple weeks. Game changer especially when you like to run your tires until they’re bald like me.
Did his bike has a radiator fans???
Rich must get free clutches
That clutch is stock and has 100 hours. I bet it will go 250 before I change plates.
