When I sided with Reed, it was because I was doing what I thought was best for Songbird. I never thought of it as siding with the NUSA, it was a practical perspective to save So mi from herself. And the gameplay that you get with that choice was a thrill. I ended up not being satisfied with the way that they handled So mi in that ending but it was cool to get more out of the regular story characters from that ending and seeing how they change when you aren't in their lives.
That is a very interesting perspective! Did you kill So Mi after siding with Reed or hand her over? I definitely want to give it a try once I’ve worked up the courage to do the Somewhat Damaged mission 😅 I agree on that ending from the videos I’ve watched of it, I can see a certain type of V where roleplay-wise it makes sense to go for the civilian ending!
@@CosyCharASMR I made So Mi live! You got me thinking about what my "canon" ending would be. I haven't decided, but it would be easy to go with my first ending, as I made it without any bias being my first play through, but I have to think about it more. V's primary motive is survival, ideally with Johnny (which is impossible as you said), and so I guess my canon ending would be one in which either V or Johnny survives.
@@Epsil0nifyI’m still very conflicted between the Star and the Sun endings - I think I’d lean more to the Sun being my favourite ending. I like the concept of the Johnny ending but I don’t think I could go through with killing V! Which was your first ending?
@@CosyCharASMR My first ending was the Aldecaldos ending. A solid path but wasn't fulfilling for V as a character I think. Mostly good for the Aldecaldos as a whole.
