@@drakoloreseeker5112 That is true but Saul dies and V leaves Night City behind which means all people he left behind might end up like in the 2 years later ending. But i do feel the same about the Nomad Ending being one of the best. At least the one where V really finds peace and freedom.
Man i swear Mitch has always been one of the nicest people with a great head on his shoulders. He delivered the most polite and clear fuck off ive ever heard lol

Adding on the fact that V says earlier in the game that only his closest friends and family can call him Vincent just makes the moment that much more touching.
14:49 The raw emotion in that line. Johnny is no longer talking to a merc. By dropping the street name "V", he's parting with a brother in arms who he's come to know fondly.
@@a.4019the cool part is johnny only says V’s real name if V gets max rep with johnny and says the correct things at the junkyard. Johnny was a real choom.
All of these endings are depressing af, but I expected it given the nature of the plot. For me, the best ending is still where V and Johnny storm Arasaka together on the suicide mission. The dialogue of "Huh, you finally discovered what it takes to be a Legend" is absolute chills for me. V accepts his fate, and goes out guns blazing with a hot iron in his hands right through the front door, absolutely badass. Two Brothers in arms going on one last mission together, V finally stops fearing death so much, and just says f*ck it.
The best ending is save songbird, get all relic software, get best cybernetics, and storm arasaka alone, thats what a legend would do! and ofc give body to jhonny silverhand, imagine "V" being jhonny silverhand, destroying megacorps while "V" inside black barrier destroying everyone that crosses
@@teste-yh5dfI want the militech cyberdeck with the black wall quick hack so I have to side with reed but otherwise I would’ve sided with songbird. What cybernetics do you get by siding with songbird that are good?
i feel like V trusted what they said about few days or weeks at most, and when going in a coma, it was impossible for V to contact people due to this unforseen situation. i feel like having someone to contact in the case of an emergency would be best and more realistic, like having the nurse or someone from FIA call with an update and allowing close friends to visit, but hey, V is alive, and its more open ending that could lead to something. everything else V isent surviving or highly impleied that doing something with 99% or not coming out alive, i want the space casino ending expension and have more of mr blue eyes, because he had contact with songbird, so he has to be involved somewhere, somehow if they were to make another DLC.
I mean in the game you can text them saying you are going into surgery but he only think it will be 1 month this makes the ending even more annoying because everyone knew what he was doing sure they where not kept up to date but it just makes the logic of the character so stupid the worse one is panam who won't even talk to you which is so stupid i have heard theory's that she deleted herself thinking v died honestly i would prefer that than her just abandoning him
"Welcome to the Aldecaldos! You're family now!" [2 YEARS LATER] "...Well, yeah... We *_said_* that but... you didn't call or send a Christmas letter in 2 years. So... Glad to hear you're alright, but don't call again."
Crazy, right? All of the things that V does for them, and only Mitch calls back? Not even a warm call from Saul. Considering that V saved his ass from the Raffens.
The game was played somewhere in the middle part of 2077 and based on Panams texts she had been trying to get ahold of V since 2078. 55 missed calls from someone means they clearly care about you. It’s heavily implied from the way Mitch is acting that Panam either committed suicide or died trying to find V and he can’t bare to tell it straight to V.
@@EliteTriksterAnd this why this ending is crap. CDPR decided that V must suffer, so they threw logic and consistency out of the window. The same tragic, you become a nobody could have been achieved and not hurt the personalities of the main cast. Eh.... I wanna unbuy the game niw

@@darkmugetsu6572Or V could still go to the FIA for a cure. It would still take a couple of years and leave V cybernetically crippled, but if the Aldecaldos know about it and V didn't just ghost their asses like in the PL ending, I can see them not abandoning V and everything working out.

Like god damn I hate writing like this they literally do this to piss people off on purpose realistically anyone would be telling their loved ones they gonna do a medical procedure somewhere and let them know they will be at this area and tell them to come visit, the ending could've been Panam right at V's side as he wakes up then after they leave with the Nomads thats it but devs wanna be all "nah dood lets be edgy and make it bleak" they can take this bullocks ending and shove it up their ass.
Honestly. Knowing now that there is an actual cure, a cure that the NUSA & Arasaka could have given you, makes it all the more plausible that Panam and the Aldecaldos can and will find a cure for V, especially if he/she has prior knowledge that NUSA possesses a way to cure them.
I would imagine V would still go to the FIA for a cure after he left Night City with Panam since Phantom Liberty is canon, except it would be different since the other nomads would know and be kept in the loop more, and even during and after the coma I doubt they'd abandon V after storming Arasaka tower together.

to be honest you meet every side character in like a month tops basis. Your life basically starts now you can %100 find more people/friends you can trust.
And then you end up as just another random npc walking around, having completely lost the image of what you once were.. Even Johnny would probably be pissed off since V lost made what him V.
well considering this is Cyberpunk series, the sad part is that this is still going to happen to Panam after V dies in the Nomad ending since most likely they never find a way to save V and he still dies 6 months later. Ya the 6 months were probably the best moments of their life but for Panam, she may develop into this since the trigger for this 2 years later self of her was V's assumed Death so she acted the way she is through the 2 years to move on from V's death. It is another message this ending shows beyond just the "die in blaze of glory or live and be a nobody" being "it is sometimes better to die thinking you made a difference rather than live and see nothing you did matters in the end."
@@orrthehunter And what makes you so sure that V won't find a cure in that ending? @Cheli-ee4kz if I remember correctly Panam and Mitch knew some folks near Arizona that knew about V's condition. She alluded to it if V chooses to leave. So Panam is willing to continue things with V if there was shot it could work. One characteristic Panam has always shown is her resourcefulness.

This really just proves to me that the only real relationships V had were with Jackie, Misty, and Viktor. After you’re of no use they cut off contact. All the other “happy endings” were V going along with what the other people wanted (leaving NC) but whenever V insisted to do what he wanted (live long or spend his short time as an NC legend) they’d leave him. This kinda taints the image I once had of the characters like Panam and Judy, all these endings make them seem absolutely selfish especially towards a man with a terminal illness.
Dang I think you just gave me a new perspective of the story. I was always for the nomad ending with panam, and I still lean towards it, but you make some good points. I just wish someone would have common sense to tell their partner and friends “hey folks, I might be out cold for a few years while I get cured of my terminal illness. Idk where I’m going but don’t forget about me.” And even if time does pass, maybe people die, they move out of the country, maybe they even fall out of love, at least they don’t completely turn on V like they were a goddamn menace. Definitely a very strangely written set of endings, but in my opinion, every little thing about the game is strange I think, so it all adds up in the philosophical calculator
@@Jasondurgen I find the Tower ending to be the best ending. Although in face value it seems like the most depressing, it's the most hopeful imo. V learns that although you feel like you've hit rock bottom and have lost everyone, you can still recover. Misty was able to recover after losing Jackie, V and her shop. Judy was able to recover after losing Evelyn and V. That's why after V says goodbye to Misty he/she smiles in the end knowing that although this is the lowest point of their life, you're alive and cured, people before have recovered from similar circumstances and it's a start to a new hope. Not dragged down by other people's decisions, fake relationships, or ending up your last days alone. Finally not worrying about the little time you have left, but in search of hope and something real.
You gotta take into account that V knew Jackie, Misty and Viktor for way longer than Judy and Panam. V only knew Judy and Panam for 2 weeks tops canon-wise…it’s entirely possible they could have went on to form just as strong, if not stronger, relationships with V if they had a lot more time. Realistically, after you’ve known someone for that short amount of time, you’re gonna move on after 2 years. Plus, we don’t exactly know what happened to someone like Panam, it’s also possible that she could’ve passed away or something
Panam was also real, Mitch calls because she is dead! If you talked with Mitch you would know he is a very good guy so he just doesn't want to tell V right after he woke up and still suffering..
I feel like panems reaction made a lot of sense you constantly see how hotheaded she is, and her reluctance to get attached to v then u kinda just disappear for a long time and it seems like it breaks her, along with your relationship
@@Lancersilvalol Wdym, who do you think gave Johnny and his crew the bomb and the idea to storm Arasaka tower a second time? The NUSA hired them to attack it, the bomb was supposed to go off underground but Smasher brought it ground-level before it went off, causing a lot more damage than anyone intended. Johnny was a pawn in the NUSA's war with Arasaka, not a terrorist. The public definitely would think this, but the higher ups in the government would know the truth. So really, the NUSA doesn't have much reason for killing Johnny, not if they weren't willing to kill someone like Blackhand as well, since that was also his mission and failure.
Thanks for saving me the time in doing this ending. I sent Songbird to the moon, then went straight back to the Aldecados ending to finish off my Cyberpunk story for good. It's not the perfect ending, but... idk, given the tragedy of night city I felt it was fitting. Reed was never going to allow Songbird to be free, and though she was far from perfect, nobody deserves to be a tortured AI guinea pig under Myers for the rest of eternity. I also felt Reed was a tired man, who never truly could ever let go of war, so in a sense... I felt he could finally rest in his own way. Gave Alex my coin so she can go into early retirement after my "death" supposedly. Then, disappear into the great unknown with the Nomads, riding on that last bit of hope that maybe, I can live a fulfilling life still, just like Songbird rode onto that hope to the very end. Even Johnny of course makes it out with ALT, hopefully on his own journey beyond the Blackwall.
I did everything the exact same man, theres a slight guilt coming along with killing Reed, especially since I told Alex that I liked the guy but had no choice other than to kill him.
That's probably the most realistic ending most people in REAL life would choose. And this ending is forced because V could just tell the truth and leave night city to start a new life.
Do you know what? I played with Woman V. I didn't expect such an ending. Everyone has failed me except Victor. I helped them all, but none of them helped me. Judy said she was with someone else. What did you think would happen to v? The relic ran hell through his entire body, the point is that sometime to get what you want you have to make sacrifices, v gets another chance at life, but he cant return to his old life, v got what he wanted, but like with everything, it had its own consequences, the point the story makes throughout the game is that, most of the time, there arent happy endings in night city, its give and take, I highly doubt after everything the relic did, the damage to his nervous system, he wouldn’t have any lasting effects, it was inevitable, v only believed the surgery would last a month tops, thats why you get the option to let everyone know your going out of town for a bit, there was no way for v to know he would end up in a coma. That being said, I definitely still prefer the nomad ending like you, i just think this is the most realistic shot v has at survival

Blue eyes contacts V and offers him a cure, for the casino heist. It's quite clear that overall the one where he becomes a NC legend is the best ending, as it doesn't cause anyone from your end to die in the final mission and you are content with where you are even if you die. I find this ending extremely stupid. V has no reason to be so vague with what was going on, especially with their partner. Could've just left their contacts with Reed or anybody else so they could help the romance options stay notified. This ending feels like it was just made to be depressing because "Cyberpunk is depressing". It feels very hamfisted and artificial as opposed to all the others.
V was told the surgery would be over in days and that he would only be in rehab for a few weeks. Idk maybe he was vauge abt it so she wouldnt be worried.Paman will come around anyway. theres no way the love of her life appears after 2 years and she doesnt want to know anything.
@@eli1126 She doesn't. She's extremly unstable mentally and all her love turned to equally big hate. Mitch calls you during the credits to say you "Hey, don't call Paman, she doesn't want you any more."

It's good that we can see V's last meeting with Vik and Misty( presumably Vik will be destined to other clinic sites while Misty in Poland as she stated) Finally, V will be back to his normal life before heist. The other ending is good too: let SoMi fly to the moon, kill Sol and presumably hunted down by NUSA and FIA but at least you still got Johnny though youre still dying. Wish they made ending better for panam and V or V still with biochip hoping for some other way to remove it (a good sequel yet again to make story moving) But we cant, we just have to choose our own ending

My issue with this ending, how come Reed or at least Myers didn’t inform V’s friends/associates about the surgery and that it’s hard to say how long they’ll be out. At least they would know that V didn’t just vanish out of thin air or died. They’re just in surgery trying to get the chip out.
@@garrukthewildspeaker262V does, kinda. There was no way of knowing that he was gonna be out for 2 years, V was told that he was gonna be away for a month and he ran with it. Can’t blame the guy entirely
This is REALLY dumb, in a game of choices is there not any other way? can you not have V tell her about the surgery? ALSO, hearing he JUST WOKE UP FROM A COMA i feel like that should make her feel better at least? does that mean Panam just wasn't very loyal to begin with then? that she's just willing to give up when? i mean just seems like abit of a change of character for her yknow?
V probably didn't expecting to be in a coma for 2 years, and under that impression he most likely didn't want to worry her Panam is also a nomad, which isn't a very easy life to live. I'm sure for a long while she was depressed and furious that V wasn't responding, but I don't think she could afford to give up while her family is still alive. so she moves on
Yeah but I'm not really sure how deep that love and happiness is when we just saw that they abandoned V just like that even though he's supposed to be a full-fledged member of the tribe.
Im guessing they came up with this new ending for panam because they couldnt get the voice actress back in time for the dlc. This dlc just reinforces the belief that the nomad ending is the best possible ending for v, male or female.
@ladiesman7275 from what I've seen, she doesn't answer and it was a fell aldecaldo who messaged ba k and said don't call again. I haven't played through liberty yet, am just speculating from short clips I've seen of the new endings
@@shaunstegallifybro literally call her before you do any of the quest or endings. And she answers with new voices lines. V says “FIA agent approached me” then she speaks about it with you. Did you play the dlc? 💀
You can only text. My V kept Panam in the loop. Only 2 issues: 1: You are lied about how long the procedure takes. 2: Nobody else gives her any further update, so she thinks you ditched her.
This ending is very good, i really think that sadness and frustration fit this universe. BUT the Panam part was a crap. They could justify it a lot better, if she had died when you was in the coma it would be a lot more realistic.
@@Felipe_Ribeir0 Panam is an emotional character. Wears her heart on her sleeve and acts without considering the consequences. Fiercely loyal until she isn't. Loved V and cared for them, but regardless of circumstance, she got hurt and let it inform how she handled future interactions. She isn't rational or logical, but she's ride or die as long as you're there for her when she needs you. V stopped being there, though through no fault of their own. Panam acting on emotion is the crux of her conflict with Saul. Ghosting V is totally in character, especially when you consider that she even left her clan behind once. We know she listened to the voicemail, and that's why we hear from Mitch. She can't face V again, but knows its not their fault for how she's reacting. That's why Mitch says it's best for both of them if V doesn't call again.
well....because who knows that the doctor suddenly sedated V unexpected on the ship. if that dint happened maybe V are able to text his friends before entering the surgery.
The one fuck up they made with this ending was not letting us say yes to the job. All my corpo V ever wanted, after the relic heist and Jackie dying, was to live a normal life. Taking a desk job with the FIA at Langley is the fucking DREAM ending for him. He would never go back to NC, not in a million billion years. He would call Vik and the gang, offer to have them come out if that was possible (seeing as he has about 3 million eddies it should be easy) and then live his life.
We did all that to live and lost not only a friend but also the best girl in game 😢 nomad ending true ending cause just hearing the dont call back hurt my heart
3:02 Johnny: Thought about how ya gonna spend your thirty pieces of silver? In the Bible, that's the amount Judas got for betraying Jesus. In the end, Judas died with regrets.
Not gonna lie, it makes absolutely no sense that panam is that livid with us not responding cause we were in a coma, she has to be dead or something right? She seems like the type of person to sacrifice herself for others especially if she felt like the person she cared for and made her feel cared for, has left her. Now if after that voicemail she is actually genuinely upset that v didn’t contact her whilst being in a coma, maybe it’s good v isn’t around her anymore lol
I was gonna say he is wild to think now V is actually healthy and no longer dying they aren’t going to try track down the Aldecaldos and Panam to smooth things over
@@reece42069 You are right, since Mitch doesn't know about V situation. The sad thing, Mitch makes assumption V can't find them and Mitch is right. In this ending, MErc V is gone. He is just another fave in the crowd, V can do fuck all aside from ether putting some of what little money he has left to have fixer look for Aldecados just to make sure Panam is okay.
Welp. Looks like its gonna be the don’t fear the reaper ending for me. If I die, then that’s as far as my V was ever meant to go. Blaze o’ glory fellas.
What a terrible ending. With all due respect, great V survived but I can’t get over not being able to be with your companions in the end :( I wish it would’ve been different, like wake up from the coma but they knew you were in it so they knew you didn’t die or straight up leave them. I am just gonna go with leaving with the nomads and let V die because this ending is an absolute no from me T-T
who says V dies in Nomad path, if you pay attention to all the dialogues from the characters there's a good chance that one of Panam known contacts can heal you after all when seeing your fortune, it says that you'll live
Realistically one would be very clear in their calls to people and may ask the people doing surgery on you to keep in touch with your family/friends about your condition/recovery
No, V will not stop. V will ask Mitch if she understands he was in a COMA for two years, trying not to die so he could spend the rest of his life with her? That she's the one that gave him a reason to live? That to V, it's only been a few weeks since they last spoke? Aren't Aldecados family? They made him an Aldecado, is this how Aldecados treat family? And then V will hunt them down, maybe ask Reed for a little info, or maybe get Reed himself to talk to her (and if he agrees, she WILL listen to him, because he won't give her a choice).
@@camraid9 Because the devs have a way of forcing V to be quiet at important moments in the entire game to shoe horn what they want in. Even though it's clear that V isn't really the sit quietly and say nothing type of person.
@@karambiatos I think the real issue is that the only romances V could possibly hope to revive would be with Kerry or Panam. Judy is married and he wouldn't want to screw up her new life, and River has become corrupt, something V tried to avoid. So that leaves out the girl-girl romance and female V - male romance, and you just can't have that. Trying to rebuild with Kerry doesn't have the interesting game possibilities, because the real issue with Kerry is he's just too busy with his life. Panam is the one with the deep emotional issue that would require significant effort to approach and deal with, and there's just too many people who would scream about how the devs were anti-gay bigots if the only gameplay to recover romance was male player female love. And the real V that loved Panam wouldn't let her go, so it's either write a game with no romance possibilities at all, screwing Panam-V, or write a whole Panam-V story on top, pissing off the other possibilities. Only way out of it is to exclude all past romances and thereby screw V, or write whole new stories with V as an NPC fixer, which I could live with. I'd prefer a Panam redemption arc, with new characters as possible romances for the other three version, but that wouldn't work unless V was a player. Maybe as a fixer he could issue a mission to force contact with Panam/River, or kidnap Kerry, but Judy is in a good spot and V would never screw that up.
He probably found her listening to it and ended up hearing her yell everything in the book at V. And called V to let him know that its best if he doesn't call because Panam went crazy.
Its just ridiculous. It would be cool if Panam had died for some reason while you were in the coma. It would be sad, but it at least would make any sense.
I get the open ended feeling of all the endings is to let the player fill in what they think can happen. Sure, Panam and V could meet again, V is still young and has his whole life ahead of him. He could track them down, the Afterlife would definitely help him. Or he could leave it all behind and become a fixer, go to Poland with Misty, leave Night City or work for Langley with Reed. Who knows? I get the idea behind this ending is that V now has endless possibilities on what he/she could do. Still prefer the Nomad ending. At least there, V and Panam ride off into the sunset together with the hope that maybe V can find a cure.
Same thoughts. V has connections in afterlife, in a white house, in arasaka, he can be anyone. Most of the Night City inhabitans don't have chrome anyway, cus it's too expensice, nevertheless, they're doing just fine.
Panam is acting like a child. I understand that she must have been very worried when V was in a coma and that for 2 years she may have thought he was dead - and even gone through mourning. But she also knew that V was looking for a way to save his life, she knew that he might die - and in this ending she was being selfish. She has the right not to want contact with V anymore, but I think he deserves an explanation, not getting offended and not answering the phone. Especially when V explains that he was in a coma and literally had no way to contact her because of it, the first thing she should do is call him back. Well, he was in an unplanned coma, how was he supposed to talk to her? In this ending, Panam shows how immature she is, she can't even say goodbye to him properly and go her own way. She gets offended about something that V had no control over, and even when he explains everything to her, she doesn't even send the message. So, she sends Mitch to tell V about all this, really? It's so pathetic and sad that Panam is like this and even if she doesn't want to have contact with V anymore, she should care that he saved his life beacuse they were friends. But no, she will be offended and will not answer instead of being happy that V is alive. It's good that she have a new life without V, but her behavior is mean. No explanation, no goodbye, just beeing mean and act like a child.
I agree. Mitch was acting pretty awkward and out of character. I think he was trying to hint that she killed herself or died trying to find V. You wouldn’t get 55 missed calls from someone who doesn’t care about you.
@@23Raindto do that, they would have to take the chip out, slot it into a machine that can rewrite it's programming, then slot it back into v's skull, issue being, v dies the INSTANT it is removed
I don't which is more emotional, "today's a good day" or "will we ever find it in our hearts to forgive each other?". Also a lot of this could be fixed by V dropping the tough guy/gal persona and just said they're having surgery that could potentially kill them or just tell Reed and co to notify his friends if anything goes to shit
This makes no fucking sense.... You should be able to call her or the aldecaldos, explain the situation and tell them you wont be around for a little bit because of surgery so wait around and hed call them back when he is done.. its simple, or let panam be there and when he wakes up shes the first person he sees
I was actually angry few days ago when I finished the story with this ending, even after the initial shock I feel like it's unrealistic, I get it, Cyberpunk is a game with no happy endings, but you told her that you're going away for an operation, operations have risks, me personally, if I was Panam would presume V was dead, and would be relieved when I'd hear from him, and being in a coma for 2 years should be a valid reason for not picking up the phone, and I'd be just happy that my loved one is alive after all, I understand that they're not together anymore, but to not even talk with them is just not realistic, imo, they should have done something different why can't be in touch, 2 years is a long time and the cyberpunk world is dangerous, I'd think it would have been even sadder, but more importantly more realistic if Panam died in a warren shiv attack or something.
And it what reality does NUSA not tell people your in a coma... There aint no benefit they do the surgery and put you in a post opp hospital. now way the nomads are that fickle not after everything they did together. The better tragic heart breaking story would have been they got into some trouble and a bad fight broke because of the shenanigans your raised and it kills the family. You travel back to night city where a nomad recognizes you and drives you to their graves. That would have stung more
I understand that not finding a cure at the end of the original game was a reason to have a kind of " part 2 " to the game with phantom liberty. But the developers said that phantom liverty was the end of this story with these characters. It's the last time we see them. So i kind of don't understand the aim of frustrating us with a bad ending for v, not giving him a happy ending with at least his friends or Panam. It would have been a great way to maybe have an glimpse of him like an appearance in a future game with a new character and he comes back or even him living his deserved best life away with the nomads.
@@ALV694 Someone you care about (and they care about you) goes to a high profile dangerous mission, you don't hear from them after a while, so instead of assuming they are dead, kidnapped or in a coma you assume they are ghosting you?? It is nonsensical, even more when talking about Panam, she knows the dangers that V has to endure every day.
I couldn't betray Song... Look, she comes clean, Reed doesn't no matter how hard you push him. She's in exactly the same position as V. In Lore terms, V would've betrayed Song exactly the same way if it was the other way around. Because that's night city. It really is kill or be killed. That said... V is a machine and has more time than Songbird. She didn't want to betray Reed, her hand was forced by Myers. She didn't want to betray V, her hand was forced by the Blackwall and her mortality. Song isn't a bad person despite it all. She just wanted to be free of the FIA bullshit and free of the Blackwall. Nah, Songbird became V's closest Ally to Panam and Judy. She even leaves you a pretty wild gift after it's all done. Kinda gutted she's not romanceable, they made one hell of a team considering they were both at deaths door if you save her and follow through.
Damn, Johnny looks so sad in the AV. The way he just takes off his glasses and starts staring at the wall his hard. He knows he isn't dying, but he knows he lost a true friend in V. And the way he calls V by his name just confirms this, since V only lets those truly intimate to him call him by his real name. Each time i watch one of the videos about this new ending just confirms to me how this is not the ideal ending, it's just another one. It's bitter as shit since not V nor Johnny get to accomplish their final goals: V becoming the legend of Night City and Johnny getting revenge on Smasher.
@@23Raind with the life V has had and with everything he knows, he would never live a quiet life. He would most likely be hunted for the rest of his life. And media gives us plenty of examples of this, including John Wick and Michael from GTA. And about us players not wanting V to become a legend and wanting to give him a quiet life, yes, we have plenty of choices in terms of ending, but is it all cohesive with the story being told? To me it doesn't work.
@@23Raind both wanted quiet lives but their past didn't allow for that to happen. I'm using their example to say that a quiet life isn't possible for V, and it's even worst if you consider that Night City doesn't allow a quiet life.
@23arceus to still die anyway. V is permanently alive in this one and he can't even defend himself from a couple of common thugs, imagine what would happen if NetWatch, Militech and Arasaka would do to a defenceless V, who, I reiterate, has some insanely valuable knowledge. V would never be safe, unless he takes the FIA job. This is why I love the reaper ending with V returning to his body. He loses Johnny, but still has plenty of motivation to keep fighting.

This ending hits a lot harder. When V and Johnny aren't at each other's throats the whole time. As for Panam, she's either dead and Mitch was trying to spare V feelings. Or he scooped Panam up on the rebound and doesn't want to risk losing her. By leting her know/find out that V is alive and didnt ghost her.
I don’t think Mitch scooped up Panama. If we ignore the fact that the relationship between the two of them is like a father daughter. I feel like if Saul found out panam and Mitch were screwing, he’d hang Mitch by his own intestines. Just my opinion tho
This was depressing af. Sacrifing Johnny and losing V's merc identity were already hard but I expected a somewhat happy ending with Panam. Even when he couldn't reach her via phone, I expected her to show up until the last minute. That was fucked up. Yeah he lives but I guess nomad ending is still the best by far.
I'm miffed... Panam, the girl that was willing to drop anything and everything to help V, the girl that waited for your call for help, the girl that is attached to V doesn't want to talk or even listen to him. I get that she's hurt but it just doesn't go with her character. None of the characters in the new endings match, I get that they're hurt, but V went to hell and back helping them while he himself was dying... good story but I dislike the endings.
Cyberpunk devs really really doesnt like good endings The best ending you can get is the star and that ending you still die but as a NC legends There is no happy ending in the night city after all
You gotta remember that Panam only knew V for like, 2 weeks top. After two years, everyone is realistically going to move on…especially after V just straight up disappears on them (not entirely his fault of course).
I wish that instead of the end credit scene where Mitch calls us, there'd be a sort of 'skip' a few months later. V is working with Reed as a sort of man in the chair, definitely better but not 100%. Mitch calls, tells V not to call anymore because Panam is getting over it. He has Reed look into Panam, figure out where she is, and despite being told not to, V goes out to find her. I really would love to see what happens 'after' these endings, and I REALLY wish we were allowed to continue to call/text panam. I think that if V just ghosted her, it'd be something different. But given that he pretty much explained that, he was going somewhere for around a month after just speaking with the FIA, and then vanished for two years, calls her and drops a voicemail that he had surgery and was in a COMA for two years, she has no real right to be mad. I'm going to guess, that with the way Mitch was talking. Panam found someone else, even if it's some sort of rebound after V. Panam can straight up scream at her father figure, burn 90% of the bridges she knows, but doesn't have the balls to tell V how she really feels when he's available after two years. Somethings not right. What bothers me even more is the whole 'combat implants' thing. My V, didn't use any combat enhancers, a majority of my gameplay was sitting behind cover, hacking a camera, and frying peoples brain via quickhacks. Cyberdecks aren't technically combat implants, so I don't understand why they blanket treat V like he's some sort of cripple. I'm sure that given some time, and intensive treatment/physical therapy V can go back to slightly normal again. Maybe not fighting Adam Smasher, but easily capable of quickhacking people to death. It's just weird, my V was pretty much organic other than better eyes, mantis blades I used once. (literally only got them for cosmetic reasons), and my Arasaka Mk.4 Cyberdeck. I can understand them saying 'no more combat implants.' but dude, my V was objectively the best netrunner in night city, my shit was maxed out. Cyberdecks are an operating system, not a combat implant. I get they can't alter the lines of an A list actor for every build, but cmon dude. End of the day, I still took up Reed on his offer.
I think this is due to cyberdeck being implanted into your head acts as a combat implant. Hacking strains your brain, so any proper hacking or net runing is just as likely to kill you as normal implant combat.
Whatever happened in those two years I know one thing for damn sure…Pan mourned us HARD, probably more than anyone…It’s clear that after a certain while she really thought that we were gone…She openly admits how much she cares for V, also you don’t send 55 missed calls to someone that you don’t care about, throughout the game we fight together we sleep together and we watch the stars together, Someone like that doesn’t stop thinking about you…So I’m gonna assume that she honestly lost contact completely and I hope to god that we are reunited in the next game…Pan is one of the best made female characters in a game for a long time, if this is how it truly ended then it’s nothing short of a mistake, I’m sure the sequel will bring us back to Panam.
Honestly, seeing this made me wish there was a procedure where they could just stabilize V and stop the relic's invasion of his mind so that Johnny and V could continue to be bros forevermore.
Been there Panam, been there. Although I doubt the people I was counting on were all in comas, just assholes who didn’t have the balls to say they didn’t want me.

Realistically V would have called all his friend's before just up and going to have the surgery. This was one cocked up ending
i feel like V trusted what they said about few days or weeks at most, and when going in a coma, it was impossible for V to contact people due to this unforseen situation.
i feel like having someone to contact in the case of an emergency would be best and more realistic, like having the nurse or someone from FIA call with an update and allowing close friends to visit, but hey, V is alive, and its more open ending that could lead to something.

I mean in the game you can text them saying you are going into surgery but he only think it will be 1 month this makes the ending even more annoying because everyone knew what he was doing sure they where not kept up to date but it just makes the logic of the character so stupid the worse one is panam who won't even talk to you which is so stupid i have heard theory's that she deleted herself thinking v died honestly i would prefer that than her just abandoning him
Or you know, the NUSA could have also told them he's in a coma. like obivously not give all the details but some kind of story
"Welcome to the Aldecaldos! You're family now!"
[2 YEARS LATER]
"...Well, yeah...
All of this could've been avoided if we just left panam's contact with reed.
same thing with judy. that and letting them visit v while in a coma

The problem of this ending is that you cant tell her you are going to a surgery that you probably will DIE , she's your girl friend , you abandon her without tell her the truth , thats fucked up , and the rest of homies except judy are living miserable after you left

Phantom Liberty leaves you screwed, I choose to believe that leaving with Panam and he gets cured
Honestly. Knowing now that there is an actual cure, a cure that the NUSA & Arasaka could have given you, makes it all the more plausible that Panam and the Aldecaldos can and will find a cure for V, especially if he/she has prior knowledge that NUSA possesses a way to cure them.
I would imagine V would still go to the FIA for a cure after he left Night City with Panam since Phantom Liberty is canon, except it would be different since the other nomads would know and be kept in the loop more, and even during and after the coma I doubt they'd abandon V after storming Arasaka tower together.

well considering this is Cyberpunk series, the sad part is that this is still going to happen to Panam after V dies in the Nomad ending since most likely they never find a way to save V and he still dies 6 months later. Ya the 6 months were probably the best moments of their life but for Panam, she may develop into this since the trigger for this 2 years later self of her was V's assumed Death so she acted the way she is through the 2 years to move on from V's death.

Blue eyes contacts V and offers him a cure, for the casino heist. It's quite clear that overall the one where he becomes a NC legend is the best ending, as it doesn't cause anyone from your end to die in the final mission and you are content with where you are even if you die. Cyberpunk is a game where the legends of night city are immortalized with drinks in a bar called the afterlife, if you’re a legend you’re already dead. There’s not going to be an ending where V toppled Arasaka and militech and the machinations of a possible shadow government to create a happy free world for everyone, this is night city dude, living as a cancer patient and pulling yourself up by your bootstraps is having an advantage.

Your comment hits me somehow, so I decided to answer. Many of us, gamers, play games to escape from surroundings, to forgot who we are IRL. We are looking for better life, or try to became ones, who we never became IRL. I know how it feels, because, well my life want great at all. I'm fine physycally, but mentally, well i'm a broke persone, with jester mask on the face. Always trying to be a heart of the company, warm and greets people,Cheers them in any kind of situation, while dying and decaying internally. almost two years ago, war hit me and my country, my friends. Now i dont even have a company, some of my friends already KIA, I'm going to be KIA somehow, on some point as well. Life is harsh, and its always find a way to kick you in the most harmfull way.
I'm happy that you can still find a way to finish this story on your own terms, but what i want to tell you - never give up. Never let anything or anyone to take you down, despite your physicall or mental issues. If you can open your eyes in the morning nexy day, try to became better person, find a way to push your limits. Never let pity on yourself submerge you. You are a person, someone. And I know that its maybe wrong for me to give you any addvice, since, well i wasn't in your shoes or situation, but as human being, I want to tell you that you still capable of much more that you think. So finish they story of V of your term, and move on, never stuck, or forget that you should live your life, and move on each day, till you have power and will to open your eyes in the morning.

@@somederp8915Which is stupid as hell and seems to just be done so the writers can fit a trope. Absolutely no logic behind this ending whatsoever.

The one fuck up they made with this ending was not letting us say yes to the job.
All my corpo V ever wanted, after the relic heist and Jackie dying, was to live a normal life. Taking a desk job with the FIA at Langley is the fucking DREAM ending for him. CDPR really handing out depression as if it was fucking chocolate
Yes, this the fan service we want. This what our V would do... why did they force it this other way
@@camraid9 Because the devs have a way of forcing V to be quiet at important moments in the entire game to shoe horn what they want in.
Even though it's clear that V isn't really the sit quietly and say nothing type of person.
@karambiatos yeah... they made a mistake here. Still a 9/10 game though
Yeah pretty sure Mitch was trying to be merciful telling V a half truth about why Panam can't come to the phone...
So, to be clear: Mitch checked Panam phone, founded V call and just blocked us to even talk to her? He is what, her new boyfriend?!
Is that true???
He probably found her listening to it and ended up hearing her yell everything in the book at V. And called V to let him know that its best if he doesn't call because Panam went crazy.
More like concerned older brother
V got Ntrd
She killed herself bro
I agree. Mitch was acting pretty awkward and out of character. I think he was trying to hint that she killed herself or died trying to find V. You wouldn’t get 55 missed calls from someone who doesn’t care about you.
I wish there was an ending were you and Johnny became a new person and fuse together to stop the chip killing v
The issue is the chip OVERWRITES V, there is no MERGING possible.
Aw hell, no. I was thinking of getting back into Cyberpunk but if it ends like this? This is more painful than that Edgerunners ending, c'mon!
This makes no fucking sense.... You should be able to call her or the aldecaldos, explain the situation and tell them you wont be around for a little bit because of surgery so wait around and hed call them back when he is done.. its simple, or let panam be there and when he wakes up shes the first person he sees
Johnny is such an awesome character.
Soo......? Nomad Ending still the canon ending in my head lol
I was actually angry few days ago when I finished the story with this ending, even after the initial shock I feel like it's unrealistic, I get it, Cyberpunk is a game with no happy endings, but you told her that you're going away for an operation, operations have risks, me personally, if I was Panam would presume V was dead, and would be relieved when I'd hear from him, and being in a coma for 2 years should be a valid reason for not picking up the phone, and I'd be just happy that my loved one is alive after all, I understand that they're not together anymore, but to not even talk with them is just not realistic,
imo, they should have done something different why can't be in touch, 2 years is a long time and the cyberpunk world is dangerous, I'd think it would have been even sadder, but more importantly more realistic if Panam died in a warren shiv attack or something.

Johnny addressing V by his full name really hit me like a ton of bricks first PL playthrough
You know it’s kind of funny that there’s literally a dialogue where you tell Panam that your going to go get the surgery done
Johnny's Judas reference was cold
Nah psshh V will become a no-chrome-choom a couple of pushups and jogs can still make him a badass again.
Compared to dudes that have blades coming out of their arms and enhanced targeting vision, and enhanced speed
Probably just reawaken his body's capabilities to take implants
@@ALV694i mean you can play the base game mostly natty and still body everyone so
@@ALV694 Well he can be a bartender at the Afterlife with stories lol
@@daviiidavo5100 looool plus Kerry can lend him some cash as well lol
The visuals in the expansion are so beautiful
Damn didn't think the Nomads be that cold.....Yessh Panam
So no option of telling panam before the surgery
This is the "Quiet life" living on borrowed time if your "blaze of glory"
New DLC Aldecaldos finding the Cure. Maybe have Lucy with Songbird. Oh well.
Sadly no this is the one and only dlc they are working on the second game now and V sadly will probably not be in it
@@ryanbaker5296v likely won’t be a main character but will definitely have some sort of appearance in it
@@norytttenrab2895 Yeah as a random npc we can run over with our sick ride lmao
Honestly, seeing this made me wish there was a procedure where they could just stabilize V and stop the relic's invasion of his mind so that Johnny and V could continue to be bros forevermore.
Been there Panam, been there. Although I doubt the people I was counting on were all in comas, just assholes who didn’t have the balls to say they didn’t want me.
Johnny is a fool for saying thirty pieces of Silver. Songbird betrays you in the end no matter what and doesnt tell you it's a one use deal.
Don't Fear the Reaper forever.
This. I sent So Mi to the moon, and Mr. Blue Eyes was involved. Don't Fear the Reaper is the way to bring it all around.
Maaaan, I'm so happy I let her take off.
@@thechangamire3495 Yeah if you side with Reed the Panam ending is best like he could still go see Reed after but if you side with Songbird i think there is still a chance that when she gets cured on the moon that she could help it is mentioned that the person who got her the ticket to the moon was the man with blue eyes the same guy who gives V the job where he goes to space it is implied that blue eyes might have a way to save V so maybe when he is up there he can link up with her
