You put out these video just in time. I do know abit of rigging I learnt from school. However it was a fast pace program, and I learned some rigging for 3 weeks. Sol thank you,
Thnk you sooooo much!!!! U are awesome! Saddly, in my college, there are profesionals trying to "teach", not teachers actually. I´ll subscribe and follow the next videos. :D
Some principles apply but the systems are different so they really are not interchangeable. Joints can definitely work as well as skinning , but controllers and constraints will not translate
Excelente pregunta.
that requires more of a scripting approach and less of a rigging one, because you need to have some sort of way of remembering the position of the pieces and that is not something that joints can do
there are plenty of tools to rig and retopo humanoids but the skills you need to learn are important for more complex characters like this one, or even for things you dont think about normally like vehicles, weapons and props
Hey Abraham. What do you think about ready rig tools like Mgear for Maya or external programs like Accurig or Cascadeur? "These are cool for agile things but old is gold.." or what? What kind of pipeline would you choose to avarage usage?
We really want part 2 & 3 for animation
Your tutorials are amazing.
Good to hear, thank you!
As a beginner i understand nothing but i like the way u explain.. 😊😊

Can you please make a video on how to rig a 3x3 Rubix Cube
that requires more of a scripting approach and less of a rigging one, because you need to have some sort of way of remembering the position of the pieces and that is not something that joints can do

Is there any way to rotate the joint orientation without unparent them just like in blender? so time consuming🥲
Yes there is a joint orient tool. I just showed it this way to make sure the reason of why we do it was clear
thankyou so much. I love your way of teaching and will we have a premium maya riging or animation course?@@AbeLeal3D
