Shawley was an interesting premise, and a new one to me. Once the supernatural is accepted, a house waiting for the right cast makes perfect sense. Good one!
When I was around 10 years old I would lay in bed on Sunday nights and listen to Mystery Theatre on the radio. Most of them were ghost stories or murders complete with all the sound effects. I always wanted to experience that story telling again and you have provided that. Thanks!!
This is perfect to listen to on a lazy, rainy afternoon. Too interesting to fall asleep to this time but after a few more listens I'm sure I could. Your voice is soothing but also a very good storytelling manner and I like that you use different character voices and their appropriate accents. 👍
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this long collection of stories! I'm recovering from major surgery, doing so much better, but still awaken sometimes in pain in the wee hours. These stories help get me back off to sleep and I appreciate that so much. I'm not in a position right now to do Patreon or anything, but I do let the ads run on your regular stories to show my appreciation. Thanks again, Tony.
Yaaayy! Haunted house stories are my favourite! I grew up hearing stories about our own house.. the only thing I ever had happen there was hearing snoring upstairs when I was home alone as a little kid (it was ok to do that then and parents didn’t get arrested.. imagine that!) and had to go to bed..😳lol not so bad!
Thank you very much again Tony, this is exactly what I needed!! Problems with moving house leaves my nerves jangled and therefore my sleep is elusive... I am like a Bear with a bad head!! So, this is perfect for soothing me into a milder mood, and prevents me from planting my Hubby ~under the rose bush in a fit of pique!! Again, Thank You Tony. Mr Dingbatt says "Thank you Very Much" as well!! We both hope that everything is going well with you and yours, especially your Jasper and the rest of your pack!! These are Wonderful Readings and most enjoyable!! Namasté, Andréa and Jasper. .. XxX...
I'm very fussy about my sleep book readers, it takes something & someone special to really get my attention & make me want more. Good reading is an art form and especially if one is going to continue to want to listen to at least 8-9hrs of wonderful writing....... I would seem to have found a perfect match in you. Thank you, for decades I've suffered from sleep disorders and audiobooks, collections of stories and a certain tone and rhythm is music to my psyche. I go to sleep & I'll wake up again for whatever reason, sometimes it's dreams and sometimes it's stress but to be able to snuggle back feeling comfy and calm with a sense of safety and continuity, doesn't matter what is being read, is priceless for me especially as I suffer chronic pain as well. You will never know what a simple gift you're given. Again thank you and I look forward to more ❤
Good collection of stories. It's such a pleasure to listen to your wonderful voice, although I listen during the day, since I don't want to miss anything by falling asleep. Thank you!
Oh! How behind I am, and a well long one, too! I hope you're well, thank you so much for the content❤ Can't wait to catch up with this and fall asleep 😴
+@phluxtersharpe4646 the compilations are for this. The weeklies have the commentary because many people seem to like that .This way I hope everyone will be happy
Hello Mr. Walker, I'm really enjoying the great narrations, thank you, I came across your work after a recommendation by Jasper L'Estrange. Have you ever come across Robert Westall's ghost stories? Antique Dust was a particularly good collection, you might enjoy them.
Have you ever read "The Boy in Darkness" by Mervyn Peake? Peake is most known for his gothic fantasy epic Gormanghast, but he wrote a stand alone short horror novella featuring the novels main character. I'd say its like wizard of oz if told by Thomas Ligotti. Mabey a tad of pilgrims progress but even that doesn't describe it. It is wholly unique in all of horror literature. The book is a little hard to find but internet archive has one to digitally borrow.
@@ClassicGhost thank you Tony! I decided that's what I will do. I can't miss the good ole ghost stories!!! I LOVE listening to them while I do my chores. Your such a an awesome story teller with a beautiful unique speaking voice. Hope you never stop. God bless
Oh dearest Tony, you made my night! I was just thinking, I have to find something new to listen to, and voila! So very grateful for all your presentations, especially these longer ones - I know there is much more work involved... Keep an eye out for a coffee or 2! ☕🏚️👻📕 (I studied music music @ university, so I'm really enjoying Basil N)
I do wonder if Ruth Rendal was influced by the stories about Borley Rectory in Essex, The names sound similar and so do some of the events that characters recount such as ghostley footsteps and carriages
I do so appreciate these Sleep collections. They never disappoint...I always fall asleep to your beautiful voice, Tony. Thank you!
Sleep well
Thou hast thee an admirer,1 suspects
Thank you, Tony. Listening to your stories is the only way to stop me from scrolling and get something done on my diamond painting 💎.

As a college student I listened to these at sunset. I always timed it so it got dark during the third act. Always in my car. Spooky fun. Cheers

Finally. I can lie down and hopefully hear at least one story b4 the sleep fairy visits 💜
Wonderful! ❤
These sleep stories are great. I probably should stop listening to them while driving.
I guess you should. I hope we don’t have to put health warnings on them soon - Warning ! This Coffee May Be Hot or This Walnut Cake May Contain Nuts !
Thank you for another amazing product.
Hooray Tony. I needed a nap.
You have a lovely voice.

If anyone from the Modern Western World can understand three out of five words of this individual, I will buy your Lunch.
What happened to the sound ? How can we fix this and hear the audio ?
+@christophermaulden733 you are just too early. Check back in 15 minutes
or half an hour
Gosh does the wonder of death consume anyone else at night??
What was that story where the rich man "helped" the people of his land by "hiding them" and they starved in the hidden room?
not sure
No sound
+@danadavis6097 Too early . youtube takes a while to process these long ones. check later

I’m thinking of doing a compilation of stories that don’t get heard much. i just need a theme

I think it’s possible
