Tip #1 for tip #1... read the quest test. >.< When you get the first "do X quests at your mission table" on the Blingdacar it actually tells you one is down stairs.
Protip: Save your BoA rep tokens for Darkmoon Faire for the rep buff to get more paragon boxes. Bonus if you have a human. BoA rep tokens are also great for alts combined with the Nathrezim Tome of Manipulation for a 200% rep buff b4 110
- If you don't pick up any extra flight paths on your alts, your flight masters whistle will always take you to ones you know. You can use this to jump across entire zones if you only have one flight path. - If you've done Argus on one character, all of the flight paths are unlocked on your alts as well. - Also, if you upgrade your flight whistle through the Argussian Reach rep, it's account wide. - Rare Elite Argus world quests count for both factions on Argus. - Kirin Tor world quests count for Kirin Tor and that zone's faction emissary counter. - Pet Battle world quests are a simple and easy way to get one emissary quest down if you pre-make your teams with Rematch and add the round-by-round guide to your notes. - The Kirin Tor world quests where you have to jump and dash or fly in the bubble? You can just mount before you get to it, talk to the Archmage to start, and fly to the end. That's all I can think of.
Pro tip: (Dunno if you guys know this) If you have an alt and on Argus when illidan gives you the quest to complete three invasion points. You can easily do them in one invasion point, so basically complete the invasion point, then leave the raid group and join another group in your group finder for the same named invasion point. Finally do it again and then you complete all three in just one invasion point.
no its basically just to complete the quest its still better to do all DIFFERENT 3 on alts mainly cause of the legendary chance that way you just get the quest done faster but you want to be doing the others anyway so no point in this honestly
You don't even need to change groups. I kept missing the portal after the boss goes down so I just stayed in and did the same portal 3x and got credit. No drops after first time though.
Not a legion tip, but I often find people forget about their MoP challenge mode teleports. There's some pretty useful teleports for getting around pandaland, as well as porting to some of those revamped dungeons from MoP.
There's an official blizzard app called "Legion companion" - that allows you to do all the important class-hall stuff wirhout having to be anywhere near a computer.

You made mention of the portal to the twilight highlands. But most people forget or don't know about the ports in SW and Org. They were added with the Cataclysm expansion. The locations are as follows. 1 uldum, 2 twilight highlights, 3 mount hyjal, vasher, and 5 deepholm. Some you get with the first quest in the zone,other you have to do some questing. Great for mog and mat farmers.there are also several rings and items that will teleport you to specific locations. One is jainas locket that you get just after obtaining shadowmourn. Makes a party portal to northrend dal.
I try to leave jeeves, mailbox and bling around the mission table in the vindicaar. I leave most of my alts there who don't depend on class hall stuff like crafting an item to complete a world quest every 18 or so hours. That way when i'm collecting account bound tokens, I can just mail them to everyone and pick it up within the 10 minute window the mailbox is up for.
Not sure if you know or not but there is also a portal to Dal on the Vindicaar directly across from the netherlight crucible. You can save that Dal hearthstone.
Another tip, if you get sucked into another invasion before you can click the exit portal, you can drop group and it will phase you to a completed invasion for quicker escape.
Monk specific, but there is a portal from the class hall to the old peak of serenity in Pandaria. Also no longer possible, but for a good while you got more bloods from missions than it would cost turning them into order hall resources
It should be noted that order hall missions for blood of sargeras always cost the same order resources as you can turn them into BoA order resource items, thus offering an efficient way to turn your excess order resources into BoA versions for alts. That is assuming you get the bonus on those missions.
The one about the portals under the Dalaran is actually what few people misses. One of my guildies to get to Dalaran from Dalaran (from Legion to WotLK) was using portal to Stormwind and then taking the ship, until I told him about the portal to Wyrmrest)))
not sure if someone has already mentioned this but another nice thing for invasion points if you are just doing it for the quest which gives 1000 AoL + argussian reach rep, you can just queue up for the same one you are in and it still counts for the quest just you don't get loot again but some points like the blood one just take forever so it's nice if you get the frost one for a quick point. You can do the same thing for the mythic weekly quest that's up right now and just run 4 of the same mythic for the quest.
Did not notice about the rep tokens and did not know about the mission table, thanks! . Per the Dalaran portal, there was a quest when you first got on the Vindicar to talk to several people.. one of them was the guy beside the portal to Dalaran.
2 more protips for invasions. If using world quest group finder and world quest tracker. Click on the map on any quest/ invasion point. It brings up a list of groups to pick. So you always get the best/ largest one. #2 when finished with an invasion group. Drop group right away. This will keep the portal that spawns on boss kill from disappearing for you.
A little funny thing a lot of people don't know about, is that the engineering toy: wormhole generator (Argus) allows you to bring any character to Argus regardless of the level that they are. I tried doing an invasion point at level 73 which gave me 16k xp (non-rested, full heirloom)
I only found out about a week ago that the Druid teleport 'Dreamwalk' ports you back to where you were before you used it to port to the Druid class hall. I felt soooo dumb when I found out.
At first, when i got the quest to do an Argus mission, I didn't realize that it was a mission quest. I kept running around trying to find the area that was circled in blue on the minimap for the quest (while inside the vindicar). I even went to the surface and came back a few times. When i finally realized that it was a mission quest, I found the table.
Not a legion tips, but something I wish I was told much earlier: the guild page and guild herald are non-battle character specific pet of 300g and 500g each that are also vendors. They can be summon for 5mn and have a shared cooldown of 8h, meaning you only need one of the 2. Because they are pets they can be summon inside instance and raid to sell your junk (dont think they do repair). For all those time your bag is full when you solo old stuff for gear or mount...
No mission table in Dalaran that I'm aware of, but there IS one in the command center! I know that's not always up, but it's nice to know where those things are so you can swing by and take a peek at your boys :)
you can also just open your map in invasions and click on skull of boss on map and it brings up the groups available then click on the one you want and it auto joins and also if the leader quickly leaves group at end just leave group and the exit portal will reappear so you do not need to run back to start of instance :D
If you're looking to dump order hall resources for bloods of sargeras, the missions for bloods will give you a much more efficient return. 6 for 1200, 9 for 1800, or 12 for 2400 depending on how far you are in argus questline, allowing you to transfer resources to alts at a 1:1 ratio. The mission costs used to be less than how many resources you could get for the bloods, but Blizzard doesn't like fun.
Argus Elite Tracker is a good one ...it scans for any non-WQ elites and shows them on the map. It is a bit chunky on the screen but a lil' macro can make it appear and you scan and then you click macro window disappears again but still shows on map where rares are...good for farming those BOA equipment things for alts :)
Tip for jumping about the place If you set your normal hearth to shrine(mop portal hub) ((it has the old dala portal there)) then you have access to 2 portal hubs and SW/Org still have the WoD portals and have new dala portals too
The footage is a little choppy at parts. I dont know if your using a new method to record or maybe its a rendering issue, but I've been noticing it very recently since it hasn't been an issue in other past videos.

It's more efficient to do the order hall missions for bloods if you want to transfer resources to an alt. Missions give a 1:1 ratio of bloods / resources, and druids can get an even better deal with the right follower.
Something that several of my guildies didn't know is there actually is an AH in Legion Dal, HOWEVER it is only visible to engineers. I have a lock that's an engineer who can see it however none of my other toons can because they don't have engineering.
MaLinda Stevens: and in the faction's shrines in MoP. In fact in every expantion since WotLK (excep Cata) the main players hubs have had those engineering AH
Old dal's AH bot stopped being so snooty and lets anyone use him. Shrine's AH guy still needs to chill. Don't forget WoD. If you laboriously collected or spent too much gold on the parts, you could have an AH in your garrison.
There's a portal back to Dalaran on the Vindicar, down behind the thingy that you select either the Argus Weapon, the Healing, the Mech Suit, or the other thing from, just go through to the other side and its right there. I found it by accident so thought others may not know of it either. :D Great video as always, thanks. :D
A tip with gathering demon/fel blood (used in several campaign quests; warlock, rogue, etc) Go to the place in Azsuna where the demon hunter squad is at and tag the demons they're killing. Really helps speed things up.
Just a tip about those invasion groups. For some reason people don't search all the way to the bottom of the available groups. The big groups are there usually. They never really disband, new people keep coming in as old ones leave so they are at the bottom of the list. The one or two player groups at top of the list may never fill up.
Yup, I knew all of this... except for the Bloods of Sargeras thing, which doesn't really matter to me because I barely use my professions. BUT, as far as mission tables go, there is also one on the Broken Shore whenever the Command Center is active. So if you're farming the class mounts on your alts and decide that you really should have activated your bodyguard before leaving your order hall, check and see if the command center is up yet and save yourself some time.
Portals for the newbie like me. Use the Cataclysm portals hub in Orgrimmar and Stormwind for them travel gains. Lvl 110 If you want to travel to Northrend Dalaran a tad faster than flying form Wyrmrest, go to Vale of Eternal Blossoms portal from Broken Isles Dalaran and then use the Dalaran portal in the the Vale's own hub of portals. You can also bug a fellow mage to make a portal for you. It's really helpful knowledge for someone who started in Legion like me.
Something else you might no know is you dont have to use your dalaran hearthstone when in the vindicaar, just go in the portal past the vindicaar weapon chooser

There is a shaman healing dummy in the order hall but its all the way in the back (left of the artifact upgrade thingy) and for some reason not with the other training dummies upstairs...
I didn't read through all of the comments but in the top 30 or so I didn't see anyone mention the Legion companion mobile app. It's incredibly useful and easy to pop open and manage your follower stuff that way. You don't get the nifty % success stuff showing like you do if you have the desktop add-on, but with the active up-time you can get, it more than makes up for it.
The only one that blew my mind was the BoA Order Resources for bloods. I always have a ton of bloods on my main and never enough resources on my lesser-played alts. Way helpful, ty!
I'm amazed at how many people with hunters still don't know there's a special flight master to take them to the Hunter's lodge on Krassus' Landing. Just look to the opposite side of Aludane for a Tauren named Talua and she will provide you a ride there. Strange bit of trivia, though, she sends you flying east when the lodge is north. The sad thing about the Legion invasion points on Argus is that was how it was SUPPOSED to be. You weren't supposed to join up in group finder, you were just supposed to go in and there would be people there.
For those who don't know, if your quest pops up in your quest list on your screen, you can just right click on it and it will automatically show you which groups are available to join, or let you make your own. It doesn't work for the Greater Invasion - unless they've changed it since I last did it - but does work for the other invasions and World Quests last I tried. So no need to manually search for groups under Custom or Questing if you can see your Quest Objectives Tracker; just right click on it. And if there are groups showing but you want to make your own group quickly anyway, just hit back at the bottom and then the button that is where "back" is when it appears. (Can't remember if it's "back" again or "find group" or what and I'm not in the game atm, but it's in the same place.) It will make your group if you're fast enough with clicking both.
So there are people who don't go out 'exploring' areas? Especially ones so small as the Vindicaar and class order halls, or ones that only have one new building in them like Dalaran?
Lol. The mobile companion app lets you order and collect troops, armaments and even class hall upgrades from one little tidy place. Did you know there's a portal to dalaran from the Vindicaar in the bottom floor of the Vindicaar? It's towards the front, behind the Vindicaar Matrix Core.
Let’s see, things that I have had “I wish I knew that” moments or seen other have: The Tauren lady at Krasus’ Landing will fly Hunters to their Hall nearly instantly and for free. Paladins can exit their order hall into EPL. There is a Void Storage guy in the southern Dalaran bank.
I had a moment like this when I found out there is a hunter lady that can teleport you from Dalaran to Trueshot Lodge instantly. I had been flying the whole time until I found this out a month ago lol
You poor thing. It must have been a rough ride through legion for you. Being an altaholic, the most valuable tool for me is the legion helper app. It let's you train and upgrade new troops, send out missions, get your order hall seal, and upgrade order halls. Also nifty, blood of sargeras missions on 950 followers nets you a 1 for 1 cost on order resource tokens to ship to alts. I have nearly 20 110s that I only log into to click order resource tokens and mail gold to banks once a week. With 28 110s, I net 3 million gold per month easy, straight from my phone. Even if you only have three 110s, its worth a look to save toon hopping time.
Raging Bunny 28 toons and only 3m a month? I use 10 and get 2m a month. I mean I could NEVER run 28 fuck that. However 10 with full 950 Champs is easy money for sure.
Raging Bunny how do you keep so many tunes going? Missions require Order Resources, and gathering Order Resources takes time. I run 12 toons and I stocked up my Combat Allies with resource gathering equipment. That helps a lot, but I wouldn't want to have to run 28 toons around for world quests.
Im sorry I laughed at some of the stuff you said. But tbh they are very good tips... I had used a bunch of times the center portal to go to icc a bunch of times and didnt even know there was one for karazhan that I have been farming lately. Love your channel btw. Best of luck!
Only learn the flight points in each zone where you turn the emmisary caches in. When you're done with the quests use your whistle and you will go there and nowhere else since they're not unlocked. (Possible exception of Aszuna with the Wardens flight point). Something I learned way into legion after I had capped all my toons before flight became a thing.
Tip for tip#4: if you're on a quest for 3 invasion points, you can do the same 3 times. Join group, stomp, leave and rejoin, stomp again, rinse repeat. If doing so gets you stuck in the same instance, just leave to argus and come back (this was working back in Feb)
Fantastic! I knew of them. The custom grouping for invasion points would be my number 1 tip! I know about the mission table in the Vindicaar ( I love that you didn't!) and still manage to forget when I'm very busy an hearth back to druid hall to do. Oops!

... this seems important. "Tip" Do the mage tower to get the challenge apearances for your weapons because they are being removed in BfA. As in, you will no longer be able to obtain those appearances in BfA but if you already got them in Legion you and your alts can xmog to them after legion.
There is no mission table in Dalaran! There you go. But... there is one on your smartphone or tablet. Blizzard has an app for iOS and Android that will allow you to begin and complete order hall champion missions, assign champions gear and armor upgrades, as well as purchase and collect order hall troops and a few other things. It's faster to log out, pop through the phone/tablet app, then log back in than to run your character to the Vindicaar or even to teleport to the order hall then get back to wherever you were. I can't imagine playing multiple characters through Legion without the helper app, it's a huge real-human-time saver.
I don't use any mods like that anyway. I can tell at a glance what's most efficient to do and with which champions without a mod, and in fact it's easier with the display in the app than it is in-game. But yeah, sure, if you use a mod to tell you what missions to do, obviously you need to be in-game for the mod to be of any use.

The utility of the Deathgate on DK is so great. I'm gonna miss it when BFA comes out

I found out that there is a whistle upgrade you can get at the vindicar that teleports you to a teleporter anywhere in argus.
IF you're exalted (maybe just revered, but I think it's exalted ) with the faction.
You only need to be revered and that whistle is a real timesaver!!

you can also just open your map in invasions and click on skull of boss on map and it brings up the groups available then click on the one you want and it auto joins and also if the leader quickly leaves group at end just leave group and the exit portal will reappear so you do not need to run back to start of instance :D
If you're looking to dump order hall resources for bloods of sargeras, the missions for bloods will give you a much more efficient return. 6 for 1200, 9 for 1800, or 12 for 2400 depending on how far you are in argus questline, allowing you to transfer resources to alts at a 1:1 ratio. The mission costs used to be less than how many resources you could get for the bloods, but Blizzard doesn't like fun.
Argus Elite Tracker is a good one ...it scans for any non-WQ elites and shows them on the map. It is a bit chunky on the screen but a lil' macro can make it appear and you scan and then you click macro window disappears again but still shows on map where rares are...good for farming those BOA equipment things for alts :)
Tip for jumping about the place
If you set your normal hearth to shrine(mop portal hub) ((it has the old dala portal there)) then you have access to 2 portal hubs and SW/Org still have the WoD portals and have new dala portals too
there's not a mission table in Dalaran, but there IS one on the broken shore when the command center is active...
The footage is a little choppy at parts. I dont know if your using a new method to record or maybe its a rendering issue, but I've been noticing it very recently since it hasn't been an issue in other past videos.

It's more efficient to do the order hall missions for bloods if you want to transfer resources to an alt. Missions give a 1:1 ratio of bloods / resources, and druids can get an even better deal with the right follower.
Something that several of my guildies didn't know is there actually is an AH in Legion Dal, HOWEVER it is only visible to engineers. I have a lock that's an engineer who can see it however none of my other toons can because they don't have engineering.

Old dal's AH bot stopped being so snooty and lets anyone use him. Shrine's AH guy still needs to chill. Don't forget WoD. If you laboriously collected or spent too much gold on the parts, you could have an AH in your garrison.

There is one mission table in Dalaran, but you need to show a special insignia to my buddies in order to access it.
There's a portal back to Dalaran on the Vindicar, down behind the thingy that you select either the Argus Weapon, the Healing, the Mech Suit, or the other thing from, just go through to the other side and its right there. I found it by accident so thought others may not know of it either. :D Great video as always, thanks. :D
A tip with gathering demon/fel blood (used in several campaign quests; warlock, rogue, etc) Go to the place in Azsuna where the demon hunter squad is at and tag the demons they're killing. Really helps speed things up.
Just a tip about those invasion groups. For some reason people don't search all the way to the bottom of the available groups. The big groups are there usually. They never really disband, new people keep coming in as old ones leave so they are at the bottom of the list. The one or two player groups at top of the list may never fill up.
Yup, I knew all of this... except for the Bloods of Sargeras thing, which doesn't really matter to me because I barely use my professions.
BUT, as far as mission tables go, there is also one on the Broken Shore whenever the Command Center is active. So if you're farming the class mounts on your alts and decide that you really should have activated your bodyguard before leaving your order hall, check and see if the command center is up yet and save yourself some time.
the first one confused me, because you get quite a few quest that say "optional use the portal in the centre of dalaran etc"

Use the Cataclysm portals hub in Orgrimmar and Stormwind for them travel gains.

If you want to travel to Northrend Dalaran a tad faster than flying form Wyrmrest, go to Vale of Eternal Blossoms portal from Broken Isles Dalaran and then use the Dalaran portal in the the Vale's own hub of portals.
You can also bug a fellow mage to make a portal for you.
It's really helpful knowledge for someone who started in Legion like me.
Something else you might no know is you dont have to use your dalaran hearthstone when in the vindicaar, just go in the portal past the vindicaar weapon chooser

There's a Dalaran portal on the Vindicaar as well, so you don't NEED to use your hearthstone even if you're on Argus. lol
There is a shaman healing dummy in the order hall but its all the way in the back (left of the artifact upgrade thingy) and for some reason not with the other training dummies upstairs...
I didn't read through all of the comments but in the top 30 or so I didn't see anyone mention the Legion companion mobile app. It's incredibly useful and easy to pop open and manage your follower stuff that way. You don't get the nifty % success stuff showing like you do if you have the desktop add-on, but with the active up-time you can get, it more than makes up for it.
The only one that blew my mind was the BoA Order Resources for bloods. I always have a ton of bloods on my main and never enough resources on my lesser-played alts. Way helpful, ty!
I'm amazed at how many people with hunters still don't know there's a special flight master to take them to the Hunter's lodge on Krassus' Landing. Just look to the opposite side of Aludane for a Tauren named Talua and she will provide you a ride there. Strange bit of trivia, though, she sends you flying east when the lodge is north.
The sad thing about the Legion invasion points on Argus is that was how it was SUPPOSED to be. You weren't supposed to join up in group finder, you were just supposed to go in and there would be people there.
For those who don't know, if your quest pops up in your quest list on your screen, you can just right click on it and it will automatically show you which groups are available to join, or let you make your own. It doesn't work for the Greater Invasion - unless they've changed it since I last did it - but does work for the other invasions and World Quests last I tried. So no need to manually search for groups under Custom or Questing if you can see your Quest Objectives Tracker; just right click on it.
And if there are groups showing but you want to make your own group quickly anyway, just hit back at the bottom and then the button that is where "back" is when it appears. (Can't remember if it's "back" again or "find group" or what and I'm not in the game atm, but it's in the same place.) It will make your group if you're fast enough with clicking both.
So there are people who don't go out 'exploring' areas? Especially ones so small as the Vindicaar and class order halls, or ones that only have one new building in them like Dalaran?

Lol. The mobile companion app lets you order and collect troops, armaments and even class hall upgrades from one little tidy place. Did you know there's a portal to dalaran from the Vindicaar in the bottom floor of the Vindicaar? It's towards the front, behind the Vindicaar Matrix Core.
There's also a mission table on the broken shore inside the command center. Just found this out the other day lol.

The Tauren lady at Krasus’ Landing will fly Hunters to their Hall nearly instantly and for free.
Paladins can exit their order hall into EPL.
There is a Void Storage guy in the southern Dalaran bank.
I had a moment like this when I found out there is a hunter lady that can teleport you from Dalaran to Trueshot Lodge instantly. I had been flying the whole time until I found this out a month ago lol

Omg when you get to Argus there is one quest where u go talk to people on the Vindicaar, and one of the people is the gnome right by the portal.

Being an altaholic, the most valuable tool for me is the legion helper app. It let's you train and upgrade new troops, send out missions, get your order hall seal, and upgrade order halls.
Also nifty, blood of sargeras missions on 950 followers nets you a 1 for 1 cost on order resource tokens to ship to alts.
I have nearly 20 110s that I only log into to click order resource tokens and mail gold to banks once a week. With 28 110s, I net 3 million gold per month easy, straight from my phone. Even if you only have three 110s, its worth a look to save toon hopping time.

I mean I could NEVER run 28 fuck that.

People should note that the money missions will probably go away when BfA releases.
Raging Bunny how do you keep so many tunes going? Missions require Order Resources, and gathering Order Resources takes time. I run 12 toons and I stocked up my Combat Allies with resource gathering equipment. That helps a lot, but I wouldn't want to have to run 28 toons around for world quests.

Only learn the flight points in each zone where you turn the emmisary caches in. When you're done with the quests use your whistle and you will go there and nowhere else since they're not unlocked. (Possible exception of Aszuna with the Wardens flight point). Something I learned way into legion after I had capped all my toons before flight became a thing.
Tip for tip#4: if you're on a quest for 3 invasion points, you can do the same 3 times. Join group, stomp, leave and rejoin, stomp again, rinse repeat. If doing so gets you stuck in the same instance, just leave to argus and come back (this was working back in Feb)
Fantastic! I knew of them. The custom grouping for invasion points would be my number 1 tip! I know about the mission table in the Vindicaar ( I love that you didn't!) and still manage to forget when I'm very busy an hearth back to druid hall to do. Oops!
only issue with the Dalaran Crater portal is it spits you out way up in the air and you fall to your death (if you aren't a druid)
A bit late but you can do the same invasion 3 times in a row for the weekly so you dont need to wait for fresh ones if you got none up

Should’ve talked about seed raids. Very few people know about them, and they were the MOST useful thing to me in legion
... this seems important. "Tip" Do the mage tower to get the challenge apearances for your weapons because they are being removed in BfA. As in, you will no longer be able to obtain those appearances in BfA but if you already got them in Legion you and your alts can xmog to them after legion.
you dont have to use your dalaran stone on the vindicar either, theres a dala portal downstairs on the other side :P

There is no mission table in Dalaran! There you go.
But... there is one on your smartphone or tablet. Blizzard has an app for iOS and Android that will allow you to begin and complete order hall champion missions, assign champions gear and armor upgrades, as well as purchase and collect order hall troops and a few other things. It's faster to log out, pop through the phone/tablet app, then log back in than to run your character to the Vindicaar or even to teleport to the order hall then get back to wherever you were. I can't imagine playing multiple characters through Legion without the helper app, it's a huge real-human-time saver.
John Hammer but the app doesnt provide you with the best options for missions, meaning you could miss out on 2 or 3 extra missions.
I don't use any mods like that anyway. I can tell at a glance what's most efficient to do and with which champions without a mod, and in fact it's easier with the display in the app than it is in-game. But yeah, sure, if you use a mod to tell you what missions to do, obviously you need to be in-game for the mod to be of any use.
Hey Hazel, you just said your using your Dalaran Hearthstone to get back to Dal. Are you doing that from the Vindicaar? because there is a portal downstairs as well.

On alts that I just farm emissary missions on for LEGO class ..... it is smart not to pick flying points so when u quickly do ur 4 missions u can use your whistle and it will port u were to turn in
