Bruce is a musical giant. I wonder if even his most fervent admirers understand how important he is in a time when great artists are disappearing left and right. This masterpiece came after a slight drought in his songwriting (compared to his earlier years), and I always know he has a great song or two left in him. He can never be counted out, and his songbook only deepens as the years go by. He's earned the name Boss, that's for sure.

Eventually “welcomed” as Okies - “people of a lesser importance”. Once again, about 80 years since that chapter of history, things haven’t changed much in the world. We are in awe watching the tragedy of the people fleeing war zones or places without hope, looking for a place amongst the societies that harvest and take advantage most of Earth richness and wealth to give their children a better future.
