I feel like audiences are losing the definition of anti hero and are just slapping it on any villain who is the protagonist. Theres a art to creating a true anti-hero, but i feel like its getting lost. Great vid
I mean technically a villain can be a anti-hero just because they're the main character. “We are always the hero of our story” type thing. Thanks for watching!
I don’t think anti hero fits characters like Deadpool (in the comics), Walter white, bojack horseman or tony soprano. They’re obviously complex characters but they’re still bad people, just not pure evil. Frank Castle is quite literally an anti hero by definition though
@@et4003 they're all anti-heroes because we follow the story through their lense “we are always the heroes of our own story” they can be pure evil, or be a touch off-kilter but it doesn't matter how bad they are as long as we follow them the are the anti to the tradiontal hero or protagonist
the reason anti-heroes are so poplar is because their realistic in real life nobody is pure evil or pure good just in the middle and it's also more complex and better than unjustified evil or unjustified good
See this whole thing is always odd to me. Maybe im just dumb but but you can have stories where your protagonist simply is not a hero. Look at curious george he aint no damn hero. John Wick aint no hero quite the opposite but he was a bad person that got to wear the protagonist hat.
Well hero and protagonist can be used interchangeably really. There are morally correct protagonists like Curious George and there are off-kilter protagonists like John Wick who would be an anti-hero or anti-protagonist
Guys wake up unlucky dreamer uploaded
im awake

Great video man
Appreciate it
DREAMER IS THE DANGER
😈
Buck sounds more like a morally gray hero, as opposed to an antihero. Either way, sounds like a movie I need to see.
Morally gray = anti hero seeing hero’s are just morally correct people and yeah it’s a classic western
Cool video! Very interesting subject.
Appreciate it

I like the original anti-hero but they have definitely evolved into something more evil
great video keep it up!
thanks pat
I love the video
Thanks so much
Walter is nooo anti-hero bro
Look up “anti-hero” and see who pops up
Walter White and Tony Soprano are villians, not Anti heroes
Did you watch the video?
By the end Walter is the villain but in the beginning I always saw him as an antihero
Same with punisher
Walter is an anti hero until the crawl space scene. After that he is a villain
