@@youshaei Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but based on your profile and posts that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my TH-cam channel about holistic health. I just started up this channel and I am trying to grow my channel. I really just think it’s fun to make videos and share them. Didn’t realize there was so much science behind actually trying to grow your channel and figuring out the algorithm. It’s always catering to the algorithm
You know the video is legit when youtube EMPLOYEE says "I learned it from a youtuber...". The only advise it is lacking is "be yourself" and "don't give up".
Coming back to this video, there's so much to take away. My main takeaway is doing unique content to stand out, which I've dabbled with but want to push even further. There are a lot of formats and subjects I could cover that could lead to views quickly, but I don't want that. I don't want to feel like a content news show to cover this week's topic and move on as my videos are mindlessly put on as background noise. When I make something, I want them to feel as passionate about it as me. I want to make videos that stand out, unique ideas and videos that spin something interesting to make everything I do a worthwhile watch that will remain timeless, rather than a weekly episodic show with disposable intrigue. I want to make every video stand out, to take it to another level. I see TH-camrs my size try to clone a video whenever it's successful, only to fall short. I've never wanted to do that, even if it could bring in more views in the short term.
has to be one of the most amazing things i've watched in months! as a sports physio my content could get serious and repetitive and you've helped me so much by giving all these ideas ! thank you
Thanks for the refreshing perspective on building a channel. So many videos repeat the same "Tips" over and over but you actually gave a useful perspective on how to take effective steps towards growth. Much appreciated.
As a new TH-camr I didn’t think the content I’m uploading is boring……. Now I do 🙎🏽♀️ but the show must go on, thank you for these helpful tips. To all my fellow small TH-camrs. We got this 👩🏽🔬 also I wish there was TH-cam conferences for small TH-camrs to network and bring creative ideas to the table, if your interested and so happen to live in Orlando FL or are willing to travel reply below 👇 I’m ready to kick it up a notch
I think I have seen your channel before!🤔 Your quality is there however, you may benefit from tapping into the videography and photography community! I see you use a Sony A7iii, you can talk about "Why I'm NOT upgrading to a Sony A7Siii" or "Is the Sony A7iii worth it in 2023?". You can also turn that around and get more content from the other side of the same topic. Something like " Can The Sony A7iii make High Quality TH-cam Videos?". You will then show people your setup and how you get the shots you get. I'm almost certain you will see a boost in your subs and viewership! You can even talk about the lack of camera shops in central Fl! I hope this helps! Keep up the great work! 👍🏾
@@PurposedLensPhotoMedia THIS was very insightful, and helpful. I appreciate constructive feedback because sometimes we don’t see the things we can improve on where as other people can. @@LifeInMyHead928 I manage that many channels unsuccessfully XD I now focus on this current channel as my main channel. Still can't stick with one solid niche, but still doing better than I was before spreading my content thin between many channels!
This is what I was hoping to hear. When people keep saying to niche down, I keep thinking, you still need variety within the niche to not be a one trick pony and still engage or surprise people but still have an umbrella niche. Appreciate the insight!
No BS here. Appreciate the kind words!! I try and answer questions more in depth on my Discord community, would love to have you join: discord.gg/created
I'm doing most of what you've suggested. I had no idea I was. I'm one of those who just figures it out and my channel is just that. I'm literally planning an interview series and here you suggest something like this. What is spinning my brain is despite my small channel size, most of my analytic numbers are what you and others say we should aim for. So...I'm thankful for your affirmation.
I don't typically comment on videos but I must say, I found this to be very helpful and I appreciate the straightforwardness. No beating around the bush. Answered all the questions that I've been having with my channel. Thank you for sharing!
Very useful video. I experimented with variety with my cooking channel and it grew. Cooking, reviews and food vlogs. This is actually a good strategy to practice. When you spoke about not to reach too far out your niche. Don't, your right about that. Be reasonable about it.

Brilliant Jon! I’ve passed this on to my production team as I’d been reviewing MeBeast and seeing how I could adapt his entertaining style to the health and safety industry. I picked the variety show approach but didn’t really know how to label it. Now I do after watching your video and it’s confirmed my initial research. Nice one!!! ❤
Thanks for this video - I started my TH-cam journey two years ago and crossed 80k\month NET profit with two major channels. However I do notice lately that all the TH-camrs rather keep the real methods to themselves. I understood that after reading an eBook. No one is talking on how to outrank competitors, how to gain additional traffic outside YT, how to do proper off site SEO for additional exposure etc...
thanks Techie!! Hope all is well since our Clubhouse days my friend : ) PS feel like you would be an awesome addition to our creators Discord if you're interested? discord.gg/created

I’m so glad to have run into this vid, one of the most valuable videos I’ve seen for the past couple of years!! Thank you so much for this..!! ❤ stay safe and blessed always! Much love from Canada 🇨🇦
These are GEMS! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience with us! I think for me the problem is nicheing down because there’s so many different people I want to reach, and don’t want to have left out, if that makes sense. I love anime content, but I don’t want non-anime watchers to be left out. But I feel like I do pretty well at that so I just need to keep going with that. I love what you said about varying it up while still having it in the niche. That means I can do skits, music, reactions, interviews all under the same umbrella and I’m already getting excited with new ideas coming to my head! And I love what you said about partnerships and sponsors because you made a great point that these companies would want someone who is reliable and can cater what they have to people in the similar audience. Again, thank you so much for this video!
Thank you so much for this video. You've made me realise that I am doing the right thing with my other channels rather than people thinking I'm crazy (in fairness I am but still). Thanks again my friend. Creator's need mentor's and you've definitely been added to my mentor list ☺️❤️🙏🌎

More and more I realize the importance of formats, not just for views, but for creativity, streamlining production, ideas, ease of communication. It's not something that a lot of creators talk about.
dude been watching a few of your videos today, Just subbed your content is gold man. I've done decent with growth on Instagram over the years, youtube is a beast in it's own. I think the fact that short form is becoming so prevalent is going to eventually have an interesting twist in long form content where everything is condensed even shorter then it is now

Super valuable video - from one Jon to another Jon! I'm travel vlogging right now but am thinking of developing my channel further when I get back home. Great job thank you so much, I’m based in Cape Town and I’ve been wanting to grow my TH-cam channel by doing hotel reviews now this gave me an idea of not just doing reviews but also interviews guests as well
This video was so educational I feel like I learnt so much, also feel so much better about what I have been filming and have coming i had alot of anxiety not knowing if it was too much but hearing the variety format was nice validation thank you so much 🙏🏼✨ I love wat you said at the end too - your never too old and about cordon starting out late that’s really inspiring 😊 I always felt man maybe I’m too old for this gig already in my 30s but nope it’s true we really can start anything we dream of or hope for 🦋🌈✨ thank you so much you rock 😊✨ xx

@@youshaei I know you are very busy, but could I have 5 min of your time? It would mean a lot to me. Jon, thanks for the excellent video! Your energy, knowledge and attitude are truly inspiring! Thank you for this amazing and informative advice, Jon ! As a TH-camr who started back in 2008 (Windows Notepad and Windows Movie Maker days lmao 😂) and was successful during those times with building an audience, there was a gap between 2011 and 2020 where I had stopped uploading. But recently, I had decided to change my niche and start uploading once again and my question is - do I continue my current 15 year old channel and upload new and revised content without losing all the hard work (old subscribers, views and watch time, etc…) or should I just start from scratch so the old videos don’t hurt my new content ? Hope to hear back from you soon !

I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a TH-camr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this TH-cam thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)
If you are reading this I hope your channel grows 10 fold

Great tips all around my guy! 🙌🏽 It’s all about thinking outside of the box to see how you can stand out and be different
Thanks so much Andru!! Exactly 💯
I just started up this channel and I am trying to grow my channel. I really just think it’s fun to make videos and share them. Didn’t realize there was so much science behind actually trying to grow your channel and figuring out the algorithm. It’s always catering to the algorithm
Mashallah barakallah
Very informative video for a grown creator myself.
Loved your advice & input.
Can’t wait to DOMINATE!!!!
Aoa SQ, nice to see you representing here 🙏
As Salamu alaikum brother 🙏🏾
Love this POV. Super important to find your own unique take and differentiate your content.
has to be one of the most amazing things i've watched in months! as a sports physio my content could get serious and repetitive and you've helped me so much by giving all these ideas ! thank you
This is awesome to hear, thank you!! If you're interested, check out my creator community on Discord: discord.gg/mAGWWe5U
I think I have seen your channel before!🤔
Your quality is there however, you may benefit from tapping into the videography and photography community!
Thank you for taking the precious time out of your day for the tip. ❤️ I’m def gonna use those titles you suggested, even I was lured to it 😂 appreciate you!
Hello, I'm interested, but I don't live in Florida. Maybe a Zoom forum would be an idea. That way, people from all over could attend😊
Definetly but am straggling to rich 1k subs
As someone who's been doing TH-cam for over a decade, marrying a niche is the hardest thing for me. Sticking with one thing is very tough for me ❤😢
My exact struggle!
Maybe make two channels for two different niches?
@@ErikLiberty I got like 10 channels XD, been focusing just on one though as anything more than 2 is just too much time needed to manage in my opinion
@@StevenDiLeo wow how do you manage these channels?
@@LifeInMyHead928 I manage that many channels unsuccessfully XD
I now focus on this current channel as my main channel. Still can't stick with one solid niche, but still doing better than I was before spreading my content thin between many channels!
I have never seen a more useful and concise YT growth video, thank you very much for making this.
This is exactly why I wanted to make this video! Really appreciate the kind words 🙏
This is what I was hoping to hear. When people keep saying to niche down, I keep thinking, you still need variety within the niche to not be a one trick pony and still engage or surprise people but still have an umbrella niche. Appreciate the insight!
I really don’t comment much… but literally best video i’ve seen ever. Brought so much value to this video! 🙌 good stuff Jon!

LOVE THIS CHANNEL! It has helped me and my twin bro, EXPLODE! We Appreciate you Jon. ❤️🙌

Nice one!!! ❤
can i join your production team.. i figured i can try if i have a chance here:)
Do you know if it's possible to rank with CTR manipulation with real users (no bots)?
@@davidpatel924 Yes but you will need few people to help (approx 5%).

Jon, terrific info, and not only is it accurate, but you put it together in an entertaining and engaging way. Way to Go.
Means a lot!! Thanks for watching 🙏
Value! Value! Value! Thanks for all the ways to grow on TH-cam! I'm a small channel finding my way, binging your content to grow in 2024. 👏
That photo at the 9:58 mark is absolute gold. Thank you so much for sharing. Defos supporting your channel through and through!

Super valuable video - from one Jon to another Jon! I'm travel vlogging right now but am thinking of developing my channel further when I get back home.
