well A LOT of harris's stuff is not well researched and its a shame! we don't have quality journalism anymore. as an example: harris video about the spending of the us military. go watch the video from rian mcbeth an expert who debunks harris video.

I met Johnny while filming a field video-specifically, his project The Invasion Russia Doesn’t Want You to Know About. He was handling everything himself: filming, interviewing, and diving into the topics. Despite having almost no free time, he was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested, even asking about what I was working on and who I was, which is rare in this business. His openness and kindness made his work feel even more admirable and impactful. Thanks, Jon, Johnny and Iz, for the interview-it was valuable on so many levels.

My view on Johnny Harris's production process:
In my opinion, we should try to think like Johnny producers, not Harris docs direction stuff. His document that shows VO and VIZ is beyond vague for practical production, which is why they need 100 notes later. But yes, the part on deep understanding is crucial. But production-wise, I will, as one person, try to find a fair fight in my story. I will break down chapters (outlines) into smaller, manageable parts that I might not have answers to, but I will have questions and problems to solve, something to fight. It's still chaotic but is far more practical.

I used to be a fan and a subscriber, but lost faith in Harris's channel. While he's skilled at storytelling no doubts, with engaging visuals and maps, his transition from objective journalist to paid activist has compromised his credibility. Despite his compelling narrative style, a closer examination of the facts reveals biases similar to mainstream media. Unfortunately, in a world filled with controlled information, I no longer expect unbiased reporting from his channel.

The best part of watching Johnny Harris channel is that you think he knows much, till he speaks about something that you know much yourself…
He definitely is a great story teller, such a pity he uses a lot of fallacies, omit providing some important facts or provide proper context, to fit the narrative he wants to deliver, which even though makes his channel extremely interesting to watch but factually not trust worthy at all. The worst part is that he pretends to be independent without any bios, ideological alliance, etc.
