Playing 9 holes at the magnificent Oswestry Golf Club, this is a James Braid designed, parkland golf course set in Shropshire and home to two Ryder Cup captains, Ian Woosnam and Harry Weetman. The conditions were absolutely fantastic and the course played brilliantly, I highly recommend playing here if you get the chance!

Never really saw you as an average golfer really. More like "A Little Above Average Golfer". You keep going like this and you'll be a scratch golfer. Still, I enjoy your videos and it's fun watching someone slowly improve. I'm pretty sure I have seen this course on another channel so you might have some other golf vloggers near you mate. Nice course and you played it very well.
Have not been able to golf since March due to some health issues, but hoping to get on the course this week for the first time in a while. Probably just do 9 at my local par 3 course. If I can keep it to bogey golf I'll be happy, but I have my sights on breaking 80 for the first time. At least I won't have to golf in the heat here in Michigan - fall is setting in which is my favorite time of the year to golf.
Thanks a lot Alan, that's exactly the reason why I started filming the videos in the first place, to see where I can improve and (hopefully) document my progress along the way. It's great to see that happening especially when I look back on older videos.

Have you ever thought about playing pennant park in north Wales not to far from flint just been watching your videos and thought you'd enjoy the course and the views

Haha they’re Taylormade p790’s mate, so not technically blade irons however they do have the look.
