Not much of a golfer but the footage and camera work was great, great editing too

Once every 10 rounds or so I'll play my vintage kit from the reds for fun (60's era forged muscle back blades, persimmon woods with an old Acushnet bulls eye putter and balata balls). Its the most stress free golf you can imagine. Those persimmon clubs make a beautiful *"snick"* sound when you hit them on the screws.

Love the vid but why does he practice his putts like that. Down swing is way faster than the shot he's trying to hit. Defeats the purpose of a practice swing

I know this is a few years later so you may not have the answer. Also great round by the way, and congrats to you!! Was just wondering, could you walk me through the thought process you had on hole 9? I was a little confused as to why you had been hitting the ball so great all day, and then decided to hit an 8 iron from the first cut with a wide open look at the pin, but were 195 yards away. Why not hit a 4, 5, or 6, iron (depending on your yardage) and if you miss the green you’re about 10-20 yards off for an easier look at an up and down chip? Totally knick knacky, just didn’t know if you had a specific reason to lay up, or if there was something else I was missing. I’m trying to get better at golf myself, and I am also trying to get a better understanding of why players do certain things they do, and when to learn to “take my medicine”. This course is about 30 minutes from my house.

I played here by myself when I took my family to Disney World!! My wife booked my teetime!! This course is amazing and I actually played some of the best golf I have ever played that day with 3 random strangers.

As a fellow 11 HC I can safely say my short game is what is really holding me back

Most golfers are 30 to 40. They just say they are 18 and 15 to make themselves feel better. Most golfers miss half their tee shots and they never count the penalty or shot altogether.

How busy was the course

Playing here in 2 weeks time Not looking forward to the amount of hazards being a high Handicapper but its the last one I've to play out of the 4 at Disney.

Did you have to take a lot of risks to do it or did you have it in the bag pretty much

Just started at the driving range a month ago, gone from not being able to hit a thing, maximum 80 yards on any club, to consistently driving 170. Doing some lessons next month and have a fitting tomorrow (currently using some £60 20 year old budget clubs!). Obsessed and glad I've found your channel as it's much more of a realistic goal than all of these online trainers like the amazing Danny Maude.

Dump of a place.! Massively overated. Greens always rock hard due to being poorly structured and lack of watering.

If I can find someone like these two for a relationship that would rather do activities like this then sit around, then it would be amazing. What are your secrets? How do you find each other?

I’m a +1 and your long game isn’t far off mine, but your game within 100 yds is miles away, especially chipping and putting. Stop hitting driver at the range and practice hard on the 50, 75 and 100 yd carries, practice shaping high, low and draw/fade. Then practice chipping and putting. The best putting drill is to putt along the length of a 1 metre metal ruler. That will make you hit straight and firm. You can transfer the putting stroke to a chipping stroke too (basically putting with a wedge).
