I (Chris) actually have both in the bag, along with the Mind Bender. I find the Buzzz's extra stability is nice to have, and the Hex for me is a little more understable to make nice S Shapes with. Then the Mind Bender is just a laser straight disc that holds the line with little to no deviation. There's definitely overlap, so if I find somewhere down the line that I need to make space, one of those would definitely come out first.
I know it's semantics but I wouldn't call the Mako 3 or MindBender "Flippy". See your flight on hole 5. These discs are perfectly stable in normal conditions. I've seen Simon park a +400ft hole throwing flat into a headwind and the disc flew basically straight.
Yeah I guess when I say flippy I really just mean it goes at the angle you release it and doesn't really fight back hard until the end of the flight. At times I throw in on anhyzer and I'm hoping for it to fight back but it doesn't.
I only started playing last year at the grand old age of 58, it’s nice to see players on my level, I have 4 mid ranges in my bag, I have the mako3 in champion plastic, MVP deflector, Discmania Evolution Mutant, prodigy M4, and the Chucky Halloween buzz 🤪
Nice! A solid mix of mids there. Khang also has the Chucky Halloween Buzzz as well. We were going to try to use it for a Halloween video but couldn't get the time to play around then.
Thanks for checking out the video! It was interesting rotating between the different midranges, it will be something we look to do again in future vids.
I like watching people that are more my level. You guys are awesome
Just the video I was looking for. Great comparison!
I recently switched to the Hex after years of throwing the Buzzz. I'm really liking the Hex, but there are times I miss the Buzzz.

Liked how you guys rotated discs👍

It’s probably best you left the Prodigy M4 out. Wouldn’t have even been a competition if you used it
Towels guys, I always carry them just for the rain, and we get loads here in the uk
Haha my towel is clipped on the outside of my bag, so it got drenched in the rain. Whoops...
Is that a Limited Edition Buzz Esp that Chris is throwing?
It's an ESP Buzzz that was dyed by Throw Joe's on Etsy. Definitely check them out.
@@peachydiscgolf thank you, I will!
