Having thrown the Buzzz for many years, then switching to the Hex about a year ago, I’m convinced the only meaningful difference between them is hand feel. They fly very much identically to one another. Of course you might have slight differences across runs and plastic types, but for all intents and purposes, Hex and Buzzz are the same slot in the bag.
Currently I’m on my last “thrower” Hex, and if/when I lose this one, it’s back to the Buzzz for me. I miss those bright Z colors too much, lol.
You need to re do this challenge but have each person switch discs and see if their score improves. If it does I think better indicator of which is better

I bag both an original FLX buzzz and a hex. The buzz is frozen rope straight or just the smallest flip, the hex is frozen rope with that gentle finish.
I'm glad you mentioned the new lens, this video looks... odd. I can't confidently put my finger on what exactly is so odd but everything seems a little wider than usual? Almost like proportions are off a little.

This wasn't a contest between the Hex and Buzzz....this was a contest between how well both of you can throw and putt with a disc.

Didnt give either disc the justice they deserve. You cant compare disc with different players abilities
My hex flies overstable, just as if not more than my matrix. My Uplink flies more like a buzzz which by the numbers should be way more understable.(that's probably just a me thing)I really on use mids to run shots for 60'-100' I power down on firebird for most shots that fall in that normal midrange slot.
I’m not a big fan of Prodigy discs, but my M4 does more for me than my Buzzz or Hex ever do. When it comes to mids, I’m team Prodigy.
Hum, I prefer their putters and approach discs. I hate their mids. For contex, I bag a Pyro, beat up emac truth, and an uplink.
@@sc3639 My Uplink was way too understable. I tried to figure out how to throw it for months and never could get it right. But when my M4 lets me down, my Halo Roc3 also gives me the love I need!

I don't even need to watch - Hex wins by a landslide. And btw, I throw my Hex with a sidearm probably 50% of the time - it's a laser for approach shots.

Here's a video idea: 4-speed midranges that should not be overlooked just because they are not 5-speed. 'Cause i'll take my Roc, Gatekeeper, Bounty, Gote, Comet, Mako, Shark, Sol, etc. and never feel like I'm missing something that a Buzzz or Hex would give me. Having said that, I've got plenty of 5-speed midranges that I really love too. I just wish manufacturers wouldn't ignore the 4-speed class so much.

EMac Truth was probably my favorite overall mold until I found the Pathfinder.

the buzz feels terrible in hand and the hex is just a bad disc very touchy and never has a consistent flight .. i’ll let my hex beat in a-little more but i’m looking for it’s replacement

Hex is #1 for me. I wouldn't even put the Buzzz in my top 5 mids.

gotta say I do not like the Buzz just don't like it. Hex is to me the one that releases the best and flies the way it should. I have owned 3 Buzzzz in the last 2 years they have never made my bag. I think I would rather use a compass then a buzzz.

I don’t understand y’all tied the last hole why would he have to post that the buzzz is better? If anything your shot was clearly out of bounds so technically the hex won. Definitely a dislike for this video.
The buzzz was not OB actually, and we forget to mention on camera that we agreed a CTP would be the tie breaker for the last hole
