Honestly speaking, even I am amazed how creative these concepts are, it's so refreshing to watch new things.
Y'know how scar "leaked" the name being hard life, i think that WAS the name but grian changed it cause it was leaked. Explains why the 30 hearts with no regen so i think that that would have been hard life
The ideas build off of one another. From what I have seen the changed concept introduced is normally an issue found with the previous series.
The fact that two people intruded Gem's personal space and neither of them got murdered is extremely impressive. They're lucky they got those tasks in the first episode.
I GUARANTEE if it was last season where deaths/injuries weren't as serious, she would have absolutely gotten the sword out at least once lol

The sheer contrast between Martyn and Gem's POVs is so funny. Gem gets her task done instantly, THRICE, and barely takes any damage. Meanwhile Martyn gets his task done at the last minute under duress and takes more than 2/3 of his hearts in damage.

Let’s be realistic, Jimmy always finds a way to get rid of his last life first like he’s speedrunning these series.
The script is already written; the only way he's getting out of it is if someone's red-life task is to kill specifically someone else on red life.
Jimmy was the first one to take damage, so we're off to a good start.

Its so funny to be seeing the multiple different perspectives... 6:53 "A CREEPER SPAWNER!?" from Martyn was so funny on both perspectives, and just hearing it vaguely in the background slays me.
Gem just nailed that challenge. She did it over and over again throughout the whole session like it was nothing!

I imagine it'll start to even out again once she gets back... and when this series ends.
Well empires is done and that other series with the createmod (sadly) seems to be too, at least i havent seen anyone putting a new vid out for i think 2 months now. Loved watching Gem and fhwip there 🙂

@@force1535 In the first episode of Hermitcraft S9, a group of people, including Gem, went caving, and there were multiple instances of mobs sneaking up on Gem and people yelling "Behind you Gem!!" So many so that it became a running joke of 'Behind you, Gem!'

I have three Task Suggestions.
Secret Task: Steal five doors or trap doors and hide them in their bases.
Hard Task: Destroy someones base and move it to another side of the map.
I don't know if this a Hard Task or a Secret Task but the Task is to: turn the upside down house right side up without getting caught.
Congrats to Gem on completing her task in less than a minute.

for the treasure from fishing you need at least 3 deep fully water source block. you can do that by bonemealing the ground under the water.

i dont think that would ever happen, like you have people like gem who are pretty good but are mainly just hyped up, but some hermits like doc (and i think iskall?) are actually just cracked at minecraft, like pvp, progressing the game fast, etc. if i recall correctly, back in like the early 2010s doc actually played alot of pvp with dinnerbone (the minecraft developer responsible for the upside down mobs nametag easter egg) himself and his channel revolved around pvp for a while too.

I grew up on Jem and the Holograms so Gem and the Scotts hit me extra, i think. I love it! I hope you have so much fun Cottaging, and living up to your reputation this season!
And, about the fishing, i don't know if anyone mentioned yet, but to get "treasure" from fishing the hole must be a 5 x 4 x 5 area. to quote the wiki, which confused me a lil, "To catch items in the treasure category, the bobber must be in open water, defined as the 5×4×5 vicinity around the bobber resting on the water surface (2 blocks away horizontally, 2 blocks above the water surface, and 2 blocks deep).
my understanding is 2 blocks on each side of the bobber, and 2 below it must be water (or lily pads on the surface) and 2 above it must be air (or again lily pads on the surface)
I always thought Impulse was keeping his name secret so hope that wasn't an oopsie, but either way it's fun having The Scotts.

I love the life series. so much content all at once. Gem is probably the 5th or 6th POV I've watched. it's so great getting a truly unique experience with all the different secrets in this series.
