- A new season of hermitcraft! Season 10 episode 1, we are ready to start fresh again with lots of fun ahead. My starter base this season begins as tiny boat build, probably my most unique base idea yet. I am surrounded by lots of other hermits, and am excited to expand!

The “Gem is Great” bit was hilarious. Etho editing the signs to remind Gem of her greatness, then joking on her for having signs of encouragement to ensure she knows of the signs is peak older brother energy and I’m all here for it. Can’t wait to see more Gem and Etho collabs in the future.

@@HSuper_Lee highly recommend it honestly. Of all the hermits - hell, of all the TH-camrs in general I watch - he's the one I've watched the longest (I think I started in like 2012-ish?) He was basically my introduction into hermitcraft and some of these amazing TH-camrs such as Grian, Scar and Gem, so you should give him a try!

I'm very excited by the proximity of Grian and Gem this season. The two most adorably lethal hermits right next door? This ought to be fun 😂
Also Etho and Gem 'lost' in the desert then blaming eachother for signage is a whole mood.

I think Gem mentioned liking the idea of dragon elements in her design a bit ago, and I feel like considering she started by treasure hunting with Etho then going to live around a cave area before her boat base. Sea dragon Gem!

I feel like cherry biomes have a magical vibe to them. You all should each build a wizard tower themed after your mega base, above your starter bases on top of the mountain. Then you can be the Hermitcraft wizard council, and even build a secret meeting hall inside the mountain.

Gem and Etho working together is just a load of fun. They are different personalities and still mesh in an entertaining way.
Another option for a crab pot would be to use the new Copper Grate - You can also waterlog it so you can have a few of them in the water near the boat looking like they've just been placed there. Can't wait for this season!
I think Tango tried water logging the Copper Grates but there seems to be a graphic error since the coding doesn't know which graphic should be loading... The water or the Copper Grate. I think Mojang had the same problem with the water logged leave blocks.

Previous definition, I think by Grian, of "MEGA" concerning the base, stated that it is not about size. So going for details this season, you could go "MEGA-Detail" base. Other hermits coming to your place and go "wow the amount of mega details" make it still a mega-base. \o/ go for it!
If the base is gonna be the Dredge boat, then that means there's gonna need to be some aberrant fish popping up around the place. Maybe hiding where they don't belong.

About your boat being one block high in the water. you can add blocks of water around it to make it look like waves caused by the boat and from different angles it will help to hide your concerns about the boat being one block high in water
Hermitcraft is back, yayy! Also, that spooky cave at the base of the mountain definitely gives off some mysterious "Cave of Whispers" vibes, would be fun to utilise that at some point. Might also call it "the Maw" or something.

Its so funny to see how grian and mumbo move in the game is the complete opposite of eachother, mumbo is moving all over the place looking everywhere and randomly crouching and punching whilst grian is completely still, not even moving his head when he talks

@GeminiTay... You don't need to lower the boat. Use water at the front to cover the blocks above the waterline and add cobwebs to create a wake in the water to show that its moving along.
EDIT: I haven't been able to play Minecraft since my PC exploded before Christmas, but i've filled out an entire notebook with build designs and redstone contraptions. It appears my brain is hardwired with Minecraft eventhough my PC is not!

I've watched a lot of sailing videos and the whole maximizing what little space you have in a tiny boat is 100% accurate and I love that sm!!! like putting crafting tables in the floor actually feels like something a real sailor would do in minecraft idk it's cozy :)
It's such a relatable thing to hear that the hermits stay up late to play on the server because I do that! When I set up a new Minecraft server with my friend you bet I'm gonna be there so late
