Minas Tirith and Erebor, the two lynchpins of the defences for Middle-Earth, as strategised by Gandalf.

well we literally saw them running down orcs almost twice their height.
This song has without fail, every single time given me chills. There's so much power in music and in voices, and this is one of the best examples. The trumpets starting off, giving off the noble dwarf feeling, then the chanting starts ( 0:09 ) and the trumpets change to a melody that (to me personally) gives a feeling of hope and of rising up, then (0:21) I can feel the energy as the chanting pumps you up, and the trumpets do the same, every single time I can see Thorin and company charge out of the mountain and the dwarf army rally behind them. I know that many Tolkien fans hate the Hobbit (and with good reason) and the Tolkien fan in me hates the movies too, but the movie lover in me absolutely loves them, and in my opinion, this charge summons (almost) as much emotion and energy as Aragorn's speech and subsequent charge at the Black Gate.
The Hobbit movies are better than the book while for LOTR movies is the opposite.

I call bullshit on that, depends on the orc. Mordor had 10,000 orcs, plus his own Uruks, Oliphants and Haradrim, and the Nine. Saruman had 10,000 Uruks only.

I really really would've loved to see the dwarven and elven parts in the war for the ring. Mirkwood and lorien taking on dol guldar and the eastern army sacking sale and then besieging the lonely mountain

@@nikolasioannou4543 and the gandalg/radagast scene where gandalf says how the necromancer is sauron because "The 9 have been summoned to Minas morgul" is one of my favourites. (I can quote the entire thing)
@@Feanor6450 I understand what you are saying. My favourite scene is the banishment of sauron from Dol Guldur (Although it happened lorewise it was never metioned in the hobbit). I do not agree by following the books word by word but bringing back azog changed the meaning of the story. The movies present the book as a big story of rivarly between the elves and dwarves and wasted time on presenting an orc trying to get revenge on a dwarf and the dwarf trying to finally avenge his kin. I felt that the whole journey to reclaim the mountain was pushed aside. We can both agree that, although the ending was similar to the books the meaning presented by both of them throughout differed. The story was about a hobbit attempting the unspoken for his kin and was presented clumsy rather than heroic (which makes sense considering what a hobbit is). It was about how something so small had a big impact in a great story in its own way not through being heroic and strong.
Yep this is going to get a 1000000 views just from me.....
