Dark Tides LARP 2023 (Review, Combat, and Court)

Took me a while to recover from Dark Tides, you can still see I’m a bit exhausted in this video but I really enjoyed Dark Tides this year! There were more competitions, some interesting plot happening, and a lot of shenanigans at court. Matt participated in battles this year and I celebrated my birthday at the event!
I genuinely intended on taking more pictures, and doing less filming but somehow I ended up filming more combat and I filmed the beginning part of court before Matt filmed the rest of what you see in this video for me when I was part of the jury at court which was really sweet of him.
It’s a good time at Dark Tides, if you like boffer LARPs, this event is pretty great.
It’s a 5 day event where 3 of those days are combat during the day, questing, then partying at night and repeat. If that sounds like your kind of thing and you are willing to travel to Missouri once a year check out the ORE’s Facebook, they post the Dark Tides events when they are planned!

Lol I’m glad, I know there was a a lot of the event that just isn’t in the video but I tried to explain things as best as I could understand them myself.
