Crochet Trinket Belt Strap Free Pattern! (Beginner Friendly)
I started originally filming a few months ago, got sick and was forced to shelf it, and then had to do several reshoots because of issues with seeing the stitches, but this medieval fantasy crochet pattern is finally done! I love these little trinket belt straps, I feel like they’re useful for a host of different things from holding dangling trinkets, to maybe even sheathing a dagger with a large hilt.
I wouldn’t put too much weight on it unless it’s something that won’t break if it falls. I've used it with my tankard however and have yet to have a problem but it depends on how well you sew your button, the strength of the yarn, and the knots holding it together!
You can give these as gifts, and make these with scrap yarn! It’s a great small project and beginner friendly!

Band of Travelers (Small LARP Concept)
มุมมอง 794 หลายเดือนก่อน
I’ve got another small LARP concept this time as per usual it’s the Medieval Fantasy genre. The Band of Travelers is what I am calling it. If you like to hike or want to go camping and take time to go out on the trail with your friends, you can organize a hiking LARP. I’ve got a lot of information like gameplay elements, roles, and other information and tips packed into this video as well as a ...
My Medieval Fantasy Inspired Crochet, and Online Store!
มุมมอง 3924 หลายเดือนก่อน
I have been working hard on my crochet items and hopefully will expand into more medieval fantasy themed items like wearable items, unique sewn pieces etc. I do want to make more LARP friendly/usable items but right now, crochet is my craft, and I’ve been focusing on learning/making new patterns and tying them into the medieval fantasy aesthetic. Most of the stuff in my shop at the moment are m...

Just catching you guys up on some of my LARP purchases today. I bought a couple of armstreet things, some things from etsy sellers, and something from Rawblade. I know it’s a bit short but thought it was worthwhile, I love myself a good deal, and medieval collectibles, for whatever reason, has a ton of Rawblade stuff on sale so check that out if you’re interested. The Lore of the Western Continent (Making my Ideal LARP)
มุมมอง 3677 หลายเดือนก่อน
Today we’re talking a bit about the lore of the LARP I’m working on. Specifically about the different homelands or cultures in the western continent. A lot of this is subject to change, as I periodically revisit the lore and mechanics of the rulebook. Let me know what you guys think, or what I should explain more of, or what parts of the LARP you are interested in! I tried to match up the music...

Artists and Artisans Picnic (Small LARP Concept)
มุมมอง 152ปีที่แล้ว
It’s been a while since I talked about a LARP concept, and this one I feel is the perfect start to a LARP as a meeting for characters, or even a recurring LARP on it's own where you and your friends have a picnic and create art and crafts together while in character with the possibility of in game events happening, earning in game currency and having in game things to spend it on! It can be as ...

Easy Cottagecore/LARP DIY Boot Bandanas!
มุมมอง 243ปีที่แล้ว
Ever heard of a boot bandana? Me neither so I made some! I had an old piece of clothing to scrap and make some cute boot bandanas. I think they’re also a good practical piece for keeping dirt and rocks kicked up from getting inside your boots if you tie them higher up, but I definitely made them for the aesthetic value lol. Materials you need: Fabric (Fabric that doesn’t fray if you don’t want ...
Fantasy Nature Crochet DIY! | The Pinna Shawl | Make and Review!
มุมมอง 591ปีที่แล้ว
This is the Pinna Shawl, a more fantasy and nature based crochet project! I found this pattern while searching on Etsy and one of my friends asked me to make it for them! So I got the supplies and made it! It took around 14 or more hours to make (I didn’t keep exact track). If you crochet I highly recommend making this shawl if you want to look like you’re dripping in ferns, it’s really beautif...

Making my Ideal LARP / Concepts and Mechanics
มุมมอง 549ปีที่แล้ว
I’ve been working on my LARP for months now and it’s slowly coming together, most of the initial mechanics are done. The lore is still a heavy work in progress which is why I didn’t really share too much. I absolutely love mechanics, solving problems, and making things fun for people so this has been extremely exciting for me to do. I do ramble a bit about a few different things, but hopefully ...
Dark Tides LARP 2023 (Review, Combat, and Court)

Took me a while to recover from Dark Tides, you can still see I’m a bit exhausted in this video but I really enjoyed Dark Tides this year! Love the music, is it a group like Hildegard con Blingin’?
Sorry, Hildegard von Blingen ,I meant…
There’s a few different songs I used in the video by different artists so they aren’t all the same. I do love Hildegard von Blingen though! The links and names to some of their songs I used are in the description (:
Wishing you and your Partner a Happy Wedding Day 🧙♂️🧜♀️🦋
Thank you!
Hope the wedding planning is going well! And congrats on being in the article, that's cool 😀
Thank you! Yeah it’s going well, only a few months to go before getting married!
Cool
Very cool
How long does a larp weapon last that’s not latex.
It depends on the material/brand but I would say for example calimacil weapons last a really long time using them on just other foam weapons regularly, there’s other well known brands but I am most familiar with Calimacil and really don’t know about other ones. Also not needing to maintenance them regularly is so nice
Cool video always was into larp just never did it
Always time to try it someday (:
This is a great concept and I think this could be implemented in various types of larps. Two sources that could help with inspiration on this is the TTRPG Ryuutama and the board game Tokaido. Ryuutama is a TTRPG where the game focuses on exploration rather than combat. Character classes are Merchant, Artisan, Farmer, etc. rather than the typical combat focus classes. Tokaido is a boardgame where you are traveling along the famous Tokaido trail and you try to have the most wholesome travel. You can see scenic views, meet interesting people, pray at shrines, or work on farms for extra money. Many characters are like merchant, painters, ronin, soldiers, orphan, etc. Its a lot of fun when you're not playing with highly competitive players.
Wow I really like that, I play board games as well as D&D at a local game store I haven’t played that particular board game yet but I’m going to try it there next time I go. Thank you for your input!
Looove Mocha! So adorabubble! The potions are also cute. A full Crochet set would be an amazing concept to see someone wear
Aw thank you, and I’m working on smaller set items and some pattern ideas I have too!
@@wolf.maiden You're welcome and best of wishes with your projects and sales!

Awesome ! Those little bunnies are so well made :)
Thank you!
Never thought I'd see video of myself as a royal but here we are. Thanks for coming out to see the show. Hope you had a great time.
Great job!! I do plush yarn and these potion bottle are wonderful!! I am always impressed by those that can have the patience for the smaller hooks. Congrats on getting into a local shop! Can’t wait to see more from you! 😊
Thank you! I feel the same way about people who use smaller yarn than 3, which is so beyond what I feel like I could do lol. I got more coming!
Great video. I just recently found you and instantly subscribed. I really liked your Creating your own Larp video and the Artisan Picnic video. Looking forward to seeing more stuff. Also those items are adorable. A suggestion on the potion bottles If you could make them in a way we could put a real water bottle in them (in turn turning a plastic water bottle into a potion bottle) that would be very use to many larpers.
Thank you that means a lot! I’ve definitely got a lot more LARP game mechanic things in the works. (: as for the potion bottle as a water bottle thing that’s an interesting concept, not sure how to make that work, but I have made water bottle holders that can just be put on like a crossbody bag and those are actively used at my local Larp where I sold them for in game currency. So I will definitely will look into that!

Dafür hast du doch total die falsche Feder. Du machst dir ja mehr Arbeit als nötig. Statt eine Seite hast du bereits 5 Seiten geschrieben, mit den verdicken der Linien. Das ist nur spielerei.
I absolutely found that out after this video! I got a different pen and set of nibs and now I write with those (:
Can you be guildless and still help or do missions for the guilds? Like being a person for hire.
That’s a good question I’m actually not sure about, might be something to ask the hynafol discord!
Those finds look amazing!!!! Your character is looking awesome!!!! Great job! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I’m happy with the progress I’ve made (:
first comment, huzzah on the upload!
Did you see the dragonhead stroller while you were there?
I can’t remember too clearly if I did but if I go to Bicolline again I’ll keep a lookout!
Lots of detail! Love it. What's the language makeup of the world like?
Thank you! I’ve put a lot of work into it, excited to get an alpha game going soon! That’s an interesting question, there’s a lot of different languages, I based a lot of the western continent after Europe, sort of Spanish, English, Russian, and some Latin. Then on the fantasy side, the elves from Tyreveil and Ellithica would share the same elvish root language, but Tyreveil would have evolved their language a bit differently when they went absolutely no contact. The eastern continent has a lot more language diversity though where every land has its own language. The western continent has a couple of different places that speak english primarily, really the dwarves and the Oshkin would speak English primarily, but for the sake of the game it is a ‘common’ type language of the humans on the western continent, and pretty much everyone would speak it even if just as a second language as far as the LARP game is concerned.
This is so cool wolf i love how detailed each homeland is and how they were brought to be i cant wait to see more ideas for this Larp
Thank you, that means a lot! (:
@@wolf.maiden You're welcome ^^
bueatiful
nice job
good idea
how did they write so small it the height of the letter is so many nib widths high?? is that a dumb question lol
I don’t think that’s a dumb question, some nibs are smaller than others, and with pressure open slightly to make wider lines for example, so I imagine just different sizes. Hope that helps!
Congratulations on the engagement, wishing y'all many happy years together. That site looks amazing!
Thanks so much for sharing this!

Congratulations Wolf!!! Also i can agree with you about the downgrads with the site, but it does however gives Jorrvaskr vibes from Skyrim hence its a lodge especially with an outdoor area. I'm still very excited about hearing more about the larp ^^

I’m glad! I hope your first LARP game goes well!
Did you ever make it to Hynafol? I didn't see a video from you on that one.
Unfortunately I never did ): one day might be able to go but not anytime soon sadly.
@@wolf.maiden Well you've clearly bounced back from a plague of your own and still stayed busy at other events, so it's not just a loss, but a series of other gains. Thanks for making so many vids and sharing your love for all this.
@texasbeast239 I appreciate that, thank you. Hopefully I’ll be back soon I’ve been working on my own LARP rulebook and that’s been occupying most of my time, hopefully getting that started within the year!

Does your 6mm hook also have a letter? Sorry but I want to make it right😟 Thank you
No problem at all! The letter would be J-10
@@wolf.maiden Thank you
Are some more of these that you are selling will you also be making video's/DIY of? (the sacks/bags, the cat coasters) I hope you did well at your sale? Thank you again for sharing these all
I didn’t make the cat coaster pattern, but there are a ton of free tutorials on TH-cam you could look up for them, and the drawstring bags I may be making a video for sometime, I’ve just been working a lot and overtime at my job and trying to eventually get back to making videos!
This is so neat! I also like that your using regular yarn (not something fancy and to expensive for me), thank you😊 Can I ask what would you say this size you made would fit? I feel comfortable in a 3XL top/shirt, (and like longer). So with that, can you tell me what size or rows to add of for me? This will be the first one I will make like this. Thank you for any help you can share. And again I am so happy I found your page.
I think the amount I mention in the video is good enough, I have sold a shawl that size to someone who wears that, but it depends how long you want the back to be too, you could try it on when you get to the rows I mentioned and see if you like it then add a few more if need be! Hopefully that helps!
Such a beautiful place. Man it looks so tranquil and fun!
It really is it’s like being in another time period and other world. Really can’t recommend going there, if you get the opportunity, enough. (:
Thank you so much for this knowledge and your time!!
How’s the Calamcil swords paint held up?. Has it shown any wear
The sword has held up considerably well and I loaned it out multiple times, it has a scratch on it from it hitting something it really shouldn’t have but the paint otherwise has stayed on and is in good shape!
Lovely collection!
Thank you!
